Can you get a prepaid card from the store/Gamestop? I don't like entering credit card information, so that's what I do.

I know for certain that Gamestop has Nintendo e-Shop cards to sell, though I don't know under what amount for currency.

I'm playing The Crew. It feels weird being able to drive all the way to New York only to realize that this is a New York where Staten Island was wiped off of the face of the Earth.

I just finished VA11 HALL-A last night. Fantastic game, and I'll be going through NG+ to get all the achievements. I also bought Princess Maker 2 on Steam not too long ago, so I'll likely play that tonight or tomorrow.

Didn't know it was on Steam, I'll have to check that out when I have a chance and try to beat it without using cheats at least once in my lifetime

Finished Batman: The Telltale Series (Episode 2)

Yeah enjoying it quite a bit. Pretty sad we didn't get anymore cool forensic stuff on the go but it's coming down to making the hard choices.

Spoiler: As above
Well some of the choices weren't so hard. It was easy to say no to Mayor Hill. I'm putting all my trust in Harvey, he's my bro! Which kinda led to me choosing to save him over Catwoman in the end.

I kinda thought she could handle herself better than him in the moment, plus if I keep this up I might prevent Two-Face from ever happening. The ending seemed to imply that with "It could have been much worse," when Harvey is lying in the hospital bed.

In any case it was a difficult choice none-the-less. Selena is an enjoyable enough character and in-line with what you'd expect of Catwoman. The bar-brawl scene with Bruce and Selena was pretty great to be honest even if my experience was marred by some technical issues.

Guess I'll have some apologising to do in the next episode. Expect the other masked-figure is the Scarecrow as well which probably means we'll get a trippy hallucination-sequence at some point.

Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 (PSP). Third game in the infamous survival series by IREM, where you need to survive during/after a natural disaster (in this case, an earthquake that took out a city on top of artificial island). You make your way through set pieces, while minding your HP and stress levels, as you try to look for a way out of the disaster area. It's kinda like Disaster on the Wii, without the shooting. For those who have played Steambot Chronicles (PS2, also an IREM game), you can expect the same kind of wonderful comedy in the conversation system (which has a lot of options) and countless of clothes sets.

And the theme song is great! (It's the song featured in the PV, where you can also see how the gameplay is. A fourth game was in development for the PS3 back in 2011, until IREM cancelled the game, following the series, following the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake (the earthquake happened just before the release).

In my playthrough of Crusader Kings II, Banebshenan Banebshen Nazgol died at the age of seventy-five from cancer. Her father, Shah Godarz, was indeed a tough act to follow, but she exceeded all expectations. After seizing Baghdad from the Pellids, Banebshen Nazgol formally declared the establishment of the Aryan Empire and crowned herself Banebshenan Banebshen, or "Banebshen of Banebshens." She later participated in a jihad to reclaim Syria from the Romans, her military's contributions proving instrumental in the Muslim victory and earning her all the lands seized from the Roman Empire. She built off of that victory by capturing Palestine from the Talibids, placing Jerusalem under Sunni control for the first time in centuries. Her 47-year reign saw administrative reforms and the completion of a great many public works projects. She outlived all of her children save for Sadri, who was disqualified from succession after an experimental medical treatment sterilized him.

My sixteenth character, Banebshenan Banebshen Delbar Dariushdokht, is Nazgol's granddaughter through her first son, Dariush.

Ugh....I wish I had your talent for that game General. I just find it too perplexing to take on any ambitions or conquests.

Also real shame you didn't have a closer descendant than Delbar.

Well I don't know...whenever I play I still end up struggling with the rules and uncertainties even with save scumming and solo-play (though I play with an equally inexperienced friend)

I just finished replaying Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil. I originally played it on the PC,but this time I got it on my iPad.

I must say, this game isn't very good. For those who don't know, this game is a hidden object/puzzle game, but it utterly fails at both. The hidden object sections are downright unfair, since many objects are hidden in places that don't make sense, like in the corners of the room and in the background, and sometimes I cant even touch them! The puzzle segments are....unique at times, but are usually very easy. You can skip a puzzle and do a hidden object stage instead, but I'd rather not. The only one which had me stumped for the longest time was the balancing one,but even I got the hang of it easily.

Oh,and the soundtrack is repetitious as hell, and you are going to hear the same music over and over again. This is a low budget game, for sure. There are hints, but they are limited quite heavily and sometimes don't work properly. The character models here are in the uncanny valley. They don't have voice acting and they don't move.

Ugh,this game is not good. I'd skip it if I were you. Thankfully,it's very short-it only took me 3 hours to beat it!

Next,I'm going to play it's prequel, which thankfully is WAAAAAAY better than this. I'll see you then!

I just finished replaying Laura Jones and the Secret Legacy of Nikola Tesla, the prequel (made after the original) to Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil.

Overall, while it is better than the original,it still suffers from the same flaws that it did.

The hidden object portions are more varied and fun,but objects are still hidden in ludicrous locations. The puzzles, while less original, are more fun and challenging. The hints, while being unlimited, take FOREVER to recharge. While the characters now have voice acting and actually move, their models are still in the uncanny valley. The music, while being more energetic,is still played too much and becomes tiring. While the iOS version smoothens things up,there are a few game breaking glitches. While I became frustrated with the original endgame,I became frustrated with this Midgame.

So,basically, every major improvement over the original still has it's own drawbacks. While I still did enjoy the game overall in the end (mostly due to nostalgia), I can't say that others would.

Oh,also,if you're wondering what order to play these games in,don't bother.they have no continuity. In fact, their plot is pretty much the same! They're basically the same game, though I'd recommend this one more.

So that was the Laura Jones Duology. Honestly, they are a lot more lacklustre than I remember. While I still somewhat like them,I can't deny their staleness. I would replay them, but only for the mini games. And while I do deny the allegations of them being 'Tomb Raider ripoffs',they still are not very original.

Banebshenan Banebshen Delbar has died from complications related to gout. Her reign saw token expansion in Iraq and the removal of a few troublesome vassals. A crisis in the Pellid Caliphate presented opportunities for their neighbors, allowing Delbar to seize Kirkuk and clearing the way for the Talibids to invade Arabia. The Talibid invasion of Arabia in turn gave Delbar a reason to invade it herself. She died before the war ended, though, leaving her son, Ayeshah Azamzade, my seventeenth character, to finish what she started.

The year is 1209. I know my history, so I know that in the near future, I may have to deal with an enemy far stronger than the Talibids or the Romans.

I think I stumbled on a underflow glitch in DQ7. I was in the Underwater Citadel and I was fighting some enemies along with a Disastropod or however you spell it. He goes to defend, and I unleash my boomerang. He dies in one hit and the textbox said I dealt between 10,000 to 0 damage. And yes, the big number came first, and prior to hitting him with the boomerang, he was at full HP.

Nothing abusive because it's not something I can replicate to break the game, but how odd to have stumbled upon something like this while playing casually. What was really odd though was that a damage number didn't even pop up over it. It acted as if it was an instant death attack.

I was in the damage threshold to kill the other enemies and their damage numbers registered in the 60s. Now, I posted this on another forum and someone told me that it was a property of my class that it can sometimes insta-kill enemies, but I honestly have a hard time believing it.

First of all, I'm gladiator class, a class that's based on pure power and they have nothing involving insta-death as far as I'm aware. Second, I have been playing as this class for several hours in game and not once did I ever insta-kill any enemy with this class prior to this encounter. If what that user is telling me is true, then either my luck has just been terrible or something like this has a very, VERY low activation rate.

I've found nothing online about any kind of property of a Gladiator having any kind of insta-kill properties and an Edged Boomerang has no insta-kill properties either. I personally think it's an underflow glitch.

I know there aren't many Dragon Quest players on here, but if anyone has any insight if this is indeed some kind of property of a Gladiator that I've been unaware of or if I did indeed stumble on a glitch, I'd love to know. It's not like it's important or anything, but I'd like to know more for curiosity's sake.

Getting back into FFXIV. I finally made it to Ishgard, and this is already proving to be a good time. "As honored guests of House Fortemps, we'll try not to do anything rash. I have thoroughly played through FFXIV and I do not recall any of those declarations XD

That said Heavensward is a real quality piece of content. I really advise you check out Alexander when you get to it, especially the Midas finale.
In fact rumour has it that at the upcoming fan festival they'll announce the next official expansion to the game. Money's on Red Mage and Samurai as new job classes.

Shahanshah Ayeshah the Magnificent has died. His reign saw the completion of his mother's conquest of Arabia, placing Mecca and Medina under his control. He also funded the construction and expansion of hospitals all over his realm. The Pellid Caliphate was briefly overthrown by the Jalilids, only for the Pellids to be reinstated after the usurper Caliph died without an heir. The Talibids attempted to retake Arabia, but were repulsed. During this war, the Caliph declared a jihad for the Roman province of Africa. Ayeshah gathered his forces and joined the campaign, being awarded control of the Maghreb for his indispensable contribution to the victory. The Mongols arrived during Ayeshah's reign, but encountered stiffer resistance than expected from the Uyghurs. Since then, they have focused exclusively on defeating the Uyghurs and Khazars, buying the Aryan Empire time to prepare.

My eighteenth character, Banebshenan Banebshen Yasaman Ayeshahdokht, might be the one who ultimately has to face the Mongols.

October 15 Edit: It is now 1269. The Yohannanids have ruled from Esfahan for 500 years. Time to reflect on what has happened elsewhere in the world during that time. Things have gone ahistorical in several ways. In 905, a Roman Catholic ascended to the Roman throne, starting the empire's gradual conversion to Catholicism and the decline of the Eastern Orthodox Church. The Ecumenical Patriarch remains a vassal of the Roman Empire, but with Catholicism as the state religion, he holds no real influence. Islamic influence in Iberia declined quickly when the Sultan's son converted to Catholicism and overthrew his father. Though there were holdouts for a century or two, the Iberian peninsula is now firmly in Christian hands, split largely between Portugal and the Tariqid Empire. What really took the cake was the rise and fall of Francia, however. Charlemagne formally established the Empire of Francia, but failed to gain control of Lombardy, preventing the Holy Roman Empire from ever being declared. His dynasty fell quickly when his successors' vassals forced him to adopt an elective monarchy. However, the empire itself remained in one piece and gradually expanded into Germany and the Iberian peninsula. In 1075, however, things took a turn for the truly bizarre: a Jew was elected Emperor of Francia. What resulted was the gradual conversion of much of Western Mainland Europe to Judaism. Since then, however, the Pope has pointed the Crusades at Francia. Much of the Jewish state has since been seized by Crusaders, though it still exists in bits and pieces. As for the Mongols, they did far less damage than they did historically. Genghis Khan's descendants failed to keep their empire united. Though the Mongol Horde is still a force to be reckoned with, it is far smaller than it was when the Mongols first arrived. The Mongol Empire has yet to get much farther west than the Ural Mountains and has almost no land south of Lake Balkhash.

Yasaman the Magnificent has died. Her rule saw Egypt taken from the Talibids. With the fall of Arabia to the Talibids and its subsequent conquest by Yasaman's father, the Pellids were left with almost nothing. Bit by bit, what was left of their empire was seized by ambitious vassals of the Talibids and Yohannanids. On July 11, 1263, the Pellid Caliphate fell. In response, Yasaman took an unprecedented course of action: she took the title of Calipha for herself. As the most powerful Muslim in the world and the ruler of Baghdad, Damascus, Jerusalem, Mecca, and Medina, no one was in a position to dispute her claim through force of arms. The various scholars within the realm had their work cut out for them justifying the idea of a woman being the leader of all Sunni faithful, but most people seemed okay with the idea. When she succumbed to a wasting illness in 1272, no one disputed the succession.

Yasaman's daughter, Calipha Ghoncheh Yazdegerddokht, is my nineteenth character in my playthrough of Crusader Kings II.

Many students including me play Pokemon FireRed during class on the school-issued chromebooks. Allowing the students to have chromebooks was a mistake lol

This is why I am A) glad I'm already out of school and B) don't care what other people say; education will just get worse if you allow (expensive) media tablets and internet to kids.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Demo. I like it but I wish they didn't force you to use the photo mechanic.

I can't play Pokémon GO because I don't have a phone. If I did I would be part of #TeamMystic probably. I don't understand the Team wars over this. Why can't the Teams help each other help and not fight. I'm looking at you Valor.
