Dear god. I bought Trauma Center.......Wednesday? I think? And I AM ADDICTED. I almost threw my DS against the wall a few hours ago because of that DAMN TRITI. I FREAKING HATE TRIANGLES. :chinami:

Sigh... Victor's awesome. Vulgar, yet awesome. I want to hug him.

Make sure you get the other games.

And considering how you mention throwing your DS and Triti, I'm guessing you got Under the Knife?

I actually liked Triti for a short time (on the wii, that is) because I could naturally just take the thorns out in such a way that they couldn't spread quickly. I understand the rules for Triti's multiplying, so beating the X-mission wasn't too difficult. BUT THEN I stopped playing for some time, went back to it...
I hate it again. And shall forevermore. Just... BLARGH.

VICTOOOOOOR <3 ... I miss him. *goes off to play UtK 2*

DUDE, a friend of mine has only played Trauma Team, so I introduced him to New Blood and I even shocked myself. I was like "WOA. Where's the bright colors? Why's everything smaller? WHY'S THE DEFIBRILLATOR IMPOSSIBLE TO USE?!" Now I realize why so many people are turned off by Trauma Center's difficulty... I gotta go back and play those games to "get back in shape" >3>

That happened to me too, it's strange. To think it was a breeze, and then BAM. Now I'm wondering how I managed to breeze through it the first time.

I love the TC series. I have the two on Wii and am eagerly anticipating the UK release of Trauma Team.
In SO, Triti was the scourge of my life for three weeks, and then I used the HT. Otherwise I can't beat it. And I hated the NB operation 7-3, where one mistake and you fail. It took me ages. Brachion on Hard mode was also a pain in the ass, but I absolutely ABHORED Challenge 4. I thought I'd love it, being an SO owner, but Deftera and Soma was just IMPOSSIBLE for three MONTHS. However, I've managed to beat both games, including the X missions.
I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to be a doctor or anyone who likes TV programmes like House.

My strategy for Triti was just to pull the thorns out quickly.

TC Fun Fact: In Japan, most of the TC characters have Japanese names. Derek is Kousuke Tuskimori, Angie is Ange Tonegawa. :phoenix:

Yep. I got past that level with Triti, but now I'm at the Triti that are airborne. *stabs self* I'm getting Under the Knife 2 once I find it, and I'd get the wii games if I had a Wii. XD

Alas, I has no Wii. :larry:

Oh, and don't get me started on those puzzles. The first one took me 10 minutes, the second took me fifteen, and the third one took me almost half an hour. Granted I was distracted during the third one... Then I just used the gamefaqs guide and got it. XD I fail at puzzles. Really. Victor's all like "You're not really good at this, are you?" And I'm all like "No ****, sherlock. STFU, you emo genius."

XD Where's my stylus? I must go cry at triti. Again.

I feel the same about that. I'm very used to their English names, but for me, Naomi's name is interchangeable with Mira. Both names really suit her... and so does Nozomi, which is what I used to call her. I'm glad they didn't actually name Little Guy (his last name makes me giggle) because I think no matter what name they gave him, I wouldn't have liked it XD

I really wanna get this, and I WILL get this. But. My birthday's in like, two months, and since it's forty dollars, I'm wondering whether I should buy this or wait so my parents get it for me. Decisions, decisions...

On the topic of Japanese names, I actually kinda prefer Naomi over Mira. I dunno way, maybe because I'm more used to it.

Whoa, influx of posts. W-w-wait, Trauma Team's even easier than New Blood?

*semi-cries* UtK's difficulty is what got me hooked onto it in the first place. Finishing X1 was one of the best tremendous wastes of time in my entire life.

I think Triti is kinda fun

The surgery is pretty easy, and even the final boss is a bit of a pushover... on intern and resident mode, that is. See, the other different areas have different control schemes, so the lower difficulty curve is actually kinda nice so you can learn the ropes. If you want a challenge, go for specialist. It makes me cry. I barely beat the final boss with a C because my friend and I co-op'd it (and we're both fairly good at the games) so. I dunno, maybe you're super special awesome and I don't know a cat from a cow, so maybe it'll be easy for you XD

I LOVE THIS SERIES. Trauma Team is actually the best game ever, although i suck at it. Relatively speaking. I'm trying to XS everything but orthopedics is such a freaking beezy...I got all of Maria's operations and most of CR-S01. Oh, and getting a perfect score in Trauma Team is definitely harder than in UTK, just saying...I S ranked every operation in UTK and am majorly struggling here.

^ Really? I've heard complaints about Trauma Team being too easy, although I've never played it. And UTK is pretty hard, with only one difficulty and everything. *plays on easy most of the time because she sucks* >_>

Speaking of which, my DS apparently doesn't want to acknowledge that my copy of UTK exists. What does the universe have against me enjoying this series? ;_;

Sure Trauma Team was easier than the other games, but trying to XS ops on Hard difficulty isn't easy. (Thinks of Orthepedics.)

Spoiler: Trauma Team
I really wanted "X-Ops" in Trauma Team. A super hard Forensics case would definitely be fun. =D

^ Actually, my birthday's in a week, and I just looked at the purchased items on my Amazon wishlist (stop looking at me like that >_>) and someone, I'm assuming one of my parents because they're the only ones I didn't ask for money from, bought Trauma Team and Second Opinion. There was no Wii on there though, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much in case it was a mistake. But that is much, much easier said than done. D:

My preorder for Trauma Team on Play.com(UK) all the way back from July still says "Awaiting Stock". It should've come out on the first D=

? I was under the impression there wasn't GUILT/Stigma in Trauma Team...? Or are you talking about New Blood?

And sure, XS-ing Ops isn't easy, but it's nothing compared to XS-ing X1.

Yeah, achieving XS on New Blood's X-Ops is very difficult, but I've managed to get a couple of them on the first try.

I kinda wished that they'd change things a bit the second time around. I would've liked to see optional "side cases" or just random shenanigans because I love all the dialogue in Forensics. However, since there is that whole '"XS" medal thing, it would've been nice to have bonus, super-hard forensics stuff. If they make a sequel for Trauma Team (Imma chomp someone's head off if they don't, because the plot threads need fixin'), I really want them to add a better replay value to Forensics.

Ah, Trauma Team. My favorite of all the Trauma games~
Spoiler:
Super-hard Forensics case? Amen to that :redd:
Regarding the plot...yeah, they really need to improve on that. Trauma Team was too open-ended IMO.

Orthopedics. I only managed to XS the first op. The rest were just too crazy.

Turk, Lauie... I read through the gamefaqs (since I was too lazy to play though all of those cases again) and LOL'd.

When I saw Tyler Chase, I was all like "...Chase? from House? say what?"

To be honest, I kinda like the voice cues. That way I don't have to glance up at the top screen every so often and see her annoyingly out-of-focus face (god forbid read the text that says what I'm meant to do XD ).

Although something that really irritates me in all games is "VITALS DROPPING". Since my vitals are pretty much permanently stuck around the 30 stage and I hear this about every five seconds, it REALLY GETS ON MY NERVES.

They're great if your vitals are dropping, or you need to inject a serum, but when Angie starts that nagging, I want to choke her. Other than that, she's alright.

And Adel's "Amaaaaazing!" makes me lol.
