Well, the game play takes some getting used to, but I guess everyone adjusts. As for the story, i think it's up for debate. It depands on how much you look into it, and what you understand as the game progresses. The Secret Reports really help, but then again, it's up to you.

Try beating popguins on hard. They might drop the penguin pin. very handy unbranded pin.

Love your attitude to fighting the battles, I wasn't comfortable chaining battles for a while but your taking to it like anything, and it gives you a lot of rare pins and such. It's great experience too.
Also....is it that hard to tell Rhyme is a girl xD

My friends pestered me to get this game and I really, really love it. I beat the game two days ago, and I just find "Another Day" quite funny. I can't beat the chain battle yet though.

The game is really awesome :D I think the first week was the best. I actually liked Shiki's plot twist better than any of the other ones. In the order of plot twists, Shiki > Secret Report!Hanekoma > Joshua (I was spoiled on this one
) > Beat/Rhyme.Right now I'm going through the game again filling up the Noise Report with everything on easy, normal, and hard (don't have ultimate; I spent my scarletite on Hollow Leg, which is epic). Beat is still stupid, but he's my favorite battle partner. I just finished boosting up Neku and Beat to 100 base attack and defense xD Next up is drop rate! :D
In Another Day, the Tin Pin scenario was amazingly funny. My favorite part was prolly...

In the Pork City scenario... Hanekoma's noise form was a rip-off =\
I was kinda sad I had to beat some bosses on easy =\ I had to do Minamimoto, Uzuki, Uzuki & Kariya (berserk), and Konishi on easy. (But I've gone back and done them on hard to complete the secret reports, so it's not all bad!) I was kinda happy the final boss was actually kinda easy ^_^
When you replay the game, it's really fun seeing stuff you missed.

Oh, one more little thingy I really liked: In the ninja garb item thing, it says most Japanese people wear it every Tuesday. Sometimes I like to randomly look at the thoughts, and one of them (called "Ninja") said "Man, it would be cool if I could get into a ninja garb and jump from building to building! Oh wait, I already wore it on Tuesday..." I like the mini-running jokes like that xD
To Kafka: Did you put your HP at the max? If you're having a lot of trouble, that's the first thing. I usually don't focus on the top screen, but that causes Beat to get beaten up a lot, so make sure you have a good healing pin. (I like Peace Full; 50% healing 5 times; just be careful, since it evolves with BPP.) With Kitaniji on the bottom screen, avoid the line-attack thingy. When he makes the clouds or unleashes the red things, just keep dashing to avoid getting his, since they give you attack and defense break. Whatever you do, do NOT run onto the cloud thing. I did that once. I got stuck xD His arm-snap thing I never had a problem with. Be careful when he stops time, 'cause 2 groups of red things will appear. Just keep up on the offensive and dodge all the attacks you can.

I finally got the game for the holidays. As for the Taboo Noise...
How would any of you try to fight off 5 of those Wolf Taboos?
(I died almost instantaneously on Hard and still managed to get my ass kicked on Easy.)
But that was my only BAD memory. I'm trying to get past the last Pig Noise guarding the 2nd Floor of Pork City, but my pins aren't doing much...

And use slapstick! Green Warm-Ups + Purple Sneaks! This will make the light puck travel nearly instantaneously, which means there's no time when both of your characters are weak without the light puck!

Oh, the first time, I thought it was good, but by the third time, it just felt like they either believe every player is so bad that they won't figure out the pattern, or that they are so good that they will beat the ultra-powerful enemy there...
