I don't have a link, but I do have the journal of someone who lived in the village at the time.

I might make some scans when I get back from work.

Ten year olds are stupid, and it's illegal for them to be on any internet message board.

Returning to the topic myself: Has anybody ever played LoZ-Twilight Princess? It is a bit of a dark game anyways, but the one part that really gets you is this one:

The first part of this video. Try watching it with the sound up! :will:

Also, at the end of the video, during the Temple of Time boss, there is a moment that's not as much frightening as it is a different kind of scary

Oh yeah, I forgot about that part. What freaked me out the most in that game were the hands that held those sol thingies. The Jaws-like music that would play as they caught up to you... I screamed and ran from those things like my life depended on it. Gawd. :yuusaku:

Please, can everybody get back on topic for a moment here? Please?

Some games don't scare me, per se, but if it's a really fast-paced moment, like having 30 seconds to kill this many people or something, I'll be jumpy and start to scream at the slightest movement.

Dementium wasn't even scary with a pair of Sennheiser CX300's at 2 in the morning.

Only DS game I can think of that pulls off fear well is Etrian Odyssey...

First of all, stop flaming each other before I start handing out suspensions.

Second of all, Dr. Robotnik actually scared me when I was six. For the longest time I would push the reset button after finishing Green Hill Zone Act 2 on Sonic 1. In his modern, comedic incarnations, he's become one of my favorite characters.

Understood? :missle:

I still stand by Whispers in the Woods. It was a game made by RPG Maker 3, and it scared me in a great way. Definately exhilerating.

To a lesser extent, RPG Maker 3 itself scared me. It just has that feeling, for some reason. Maybe I was really tired that day or ssomethiing, but it scared me.

The balls of light in the twilight world that you had to retrieve from the wallmasters in the twilight realm. Once you hit the hand with your sword, it would release the sol, but it would also start following you.

Nah, you've just a developed a knack for not being scared by what most would consider terrifying.

Ah, Touche!

There's not a lot of really brave 6-year-olds... of course, there's even less people who would admit something from their childhood. ANYWAYS....
