... HOW. WHY. WHY AND HOW DID I FORGET THIS?! MGS3 is the only OTHER game to make me shed any tears.

You're not the only one who forgot another game... -_-
Red Dead Redemption.
EDIT:
Spoiler: Big RDR spoilers
John's burial moved me slightly. It was quite a huge shock for the protagonist to die. Followed by his son Jack finally taking vengeance on the man who caused John's death, three years later.
And then how it simply ends with Jack walking away and the credit music playing. Ok I admit I shed a tear. Of happiness AND sorrow.

The part in Tales of the Abyss after...
Spoiler:
Luke destroys Akzeriuth and there's this little boy floating on a box or something in the miasma and mud, calling out to his mom and dad, saying he's in pain and that he's scared. The other party members try to find out how to save him, but it's too late because he sinks into the miasma and dies, still calling for his parents.........

Shadow Hearts Covenant: You have no soul if The miracle event doesn't invoke even the slightest feeling. Especially after playing the first game. [/spoiler]

Shadow Heart FTNW: Killer and Lady's last scene together. It's a very bad sign when I love and care about the villains way more than the heroes. The music just nails the mood with 'Wheel of Fortune' and 'Much more together'.

Mana Khemia: Vayne's solo ending. So depressing. Solid ending in itself but seeing Vayne alone with only Sulfur after all that and just waiting for the end was :(.

Rule of the Rose: Never played the game but read about it and saw some of the scenes and one word: Brown. I love dogs. Knowing about what most likely happened to Brown and the ending was just terrible to watch.

Aquaria did it with the ending; just the presentation of it all, and how it was all such a good conclusion to what was already an immensely long game.

And of course, like others have said, two different missions in Elite Beat Agents, and plenty of moments in the PW series.

Spoiler: Professor Layton
First, I really like Anton because he's not ugly. But it turns out he was an old guy the whole time?! And that whole back story with Anton and Sophia was soooo sad! And then, during the ending credits, it showed a picture of Flora and made me remember that Flora was in some barn in Dropstone and had missed the whole thing!!!

Hey, you! Keep reading! This isn't a joke!

Play chapter 12 and you'll know what I mean. The music, the video, all was so beautiful.

Spoiler: In case some haven't played the game yet...
I bawled when she saw her dad at the end of the song. I was lying on the couch sobbing and my mom was all like "WTF?" Definitely a heart-wrencher. On Spin's level I cried real hard. On J's level I cried a little less, but still hard. On Chieftain's level, I cried and awwed because it would be adorable if big meanieChieftain helped a little girl. On the Diva's level, I had that lump in my throat, but I didn't cry. I still can't go through the dialog before the song because it still makes me cry.

Oh, I also cried when the agents were frozen, and the girl from chapter 12 started the chant. Brave little girl.

Let's see... I cried tears of joy at the end of Bleach: Dark Souls. Because I finally beat all of the levels all the way at 100%.

I also cried at the end of the last case of PW: Justice for All. I lost it when I saw the card. I was all like "B'AWWWW." Then I lol'd at Franziska crying.

I was also mortified that Phoenix presented the whip to show Miles how he felt. Kinky, much?

I cried when I saw Miles' "suicide note". I was all like :beef: "W-What? It can't be... no..." :sob: NOOOOOOOOOO! :fire: I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!

Also...
Spoiler: Pokemon Dungeon Red Rescue Team
You save the world, y'all about to have a huge party, and then you have to become a human again. Your partner (in this case, Chikorita) is all like "NUUUUUUUUUU!" And You're all like "GTG, sorry, bbn (be back never)" And everyone's like "WAAAAAAAH NO YOU JUST SAVED THE WORLD WHYYYYYYYYYY" And then you go away.

Then the self monologue with the stars and the music... that made me bawl.

Then it goes to your partner and she's all like "Whyyy.... *sob*" and then you're like "Hey guyz! I be back! :D" And your partner's all like "WOOHOO!"

When I was younger, I cried when I beat the Elite Four on Red Version. You have no idea how long it took me to do that. I didn't have any items to restore my pokemon's PP, and I only survived beating Gary because I taught my Zapdos fly because all of its other PP was gone (except for one Thunder and one Drill Peck).

I also cried when I played Pokemon Leaf Green, but that was because I was battling my friend with my action replay on using the wireless thing. I turned off my action replay in the middle of the battle. When I walked out of the Collesium, I was one of those pamphlet things you see on the desks (esp. in the Pokemon Mansion). I was so pissed I was permanately a walking pamphlet. XD (of course, restarting the game resolved this)

Spoiler: Lastly, AJ Case 4
I cried when Klavier disbanded the Gavinners. I cried throughout the entire ending credits (esp. at the fact that Apollo and Trucy are NEVER TOLD THEY'RE RELATED :edgeworth:

Pretty much the only game to successfully make me cry:

Spoiler: Red Dead Redemption
Pretty much the entire end of the game. It had already been spoled for me, but it was still damn effective, if not more so because of the sense of inevitability about it. From when John's glancing out the barn at the soldiers, that's when you know it's over. It's not so much the fact that he dies but the way that he does. Gunned down in cold blood by the man who'd promised him freedom and betrayed him after everything he'd done. And then seeing how all his work at ensuring his son would live a fulfilling life was for nothing, with Jack taking up arms and avenging him, with him frequently saying "I've got nothing else to live for," while playing as him. And then the realisation that it's the start of the First World War, and Jack may well end up in the trenches in a couple of years when America enters. So if he doesn't get gunned down and forgotten, he may well have post-traumatic stress, especially after losing his entire family in such a short time. Damn :'(

You're not the only one Cardy...not the only one.

For me, the only other time I ever cried at a game was Beyond Good and Evil when
Spoiler:
the kids have been captured by the aliens, and when Pey'j was kidnapped, and you read the disk telling you about your family, and the Beluga.

Now, I'm a manly man, and as I mentioned in another thread before, I don't usually cry, and I laugh at the supposedly sad parts to films. (e.g Titanic, and Wolverine Origins, of which I almost got kicked out of the cinema for laughing so much at his wife dying!!!)

Because I'm a cold-hearted person... not much.

Mystery Dungeon (Team Red) and of course Ace Attorney 1 (Non of the sequels though oO")
And the Golden Sun Series... Gosh I was all over that 6 years ago. CAN'T WAIT FOR DARK DAWN *drool*

Oh yes and Chapter 4 Tales of Monkey Island made me cry... OUT OF JOY! It did really tug on my heartstrings though.
And there, I didn't even actually play it because it doesn't run on my PC; I watched the Walkthrough on Youtube *fail* D8

I played a lot of games that had these... fail drama moments when a character does some self-sacrifice and corny music starts to play... but those don't really get to me. Example: Final Fantasy V
Spoiler: FFV
It's like "Character A died" - Well that sucks
"Character B died" - Well stop whining
"Character C died" - STOP IT ALREADY
"Character D sacrificed himself" - THAT WAS MY BEST SOLDIER $%§$%$§%
I mean COME ON. In-Game Mary Sues? Much yes <.<

Spoiler: Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 4
And just all these self-sacrificial deaths made me go "YES!" when Guybrush was oh so stabbed in the back and cold-bloodedly MURDERED. I mean hell, that was... thrilling.
Am I a bad person for saying that? :<

When I was a little kid I know the Intro of "Tonic Trouble" made me sad, basically because I felt bad for Ed, but it didn't really make me cry.
Neither did the ending of Rayman 2 or Link's Awakening...
"Just when I thought my opinion of the legal system couldn't get any lower, along came Stan." - Guybrush Threepwood
"OBJECTION!" - "Objection what?" - "Objection HIM!"

Spoiler: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
When the Shadow Queen is about to win and all hope seems lost, but then all the individuals from across the kingdom use their spirit power to feed you energy and you make your triumphant return to the stage (or battle). It made me feel gratitude...something rarely felt in video games and even more rarely, in life.

Spoiler: Eternal Sonata
The cut scene near the beginning levels where Chopin is playing amidst a field of blossoming flowers. The most magical experience. :minuki:

Spoiler: 3-5

Spoiler: Ocarina of Time
When it was all over.

Tears of Joy

Spoiler: 3-5
Oh God....the credits music....it always gets me...

Spoiler: 1-4
The 'Won the Lawsuit' music. Perhaps the most tearful AND cheerful moment in the entire series...more so than 3-5. For those of you who may have forgotten this tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyqAgewtlT0 Yes, it brings about an indescribable mixture of joy, pride, sadness and nostalgia that comes out in a mess of tears every time. :acro: :acro: :acro:

I cry really easily, so there's many of them... Here's the ones I remember crying the most.

Spoiler: Kingdom Hearts series
All of the Organization XIII deaths, including Xion. But the ones I cried the hardest is at my 3 favorites ones; Xigbar, Vexen and Luxord. And I cried at this cutscenetoo.

Spoiler: Super Mario Sunshine
This partof the ending

I remember crying at those too;
Ending of Super Paper Mario, Pokemon Mystery dungeon series, Zelda twillight princess, some of the endings in SoulCalibur 2 (mostly Necrid, don't really remember the others...) many parts of the AA games and some parts of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.
Godot and his coffee cup, an eternal love!

I am not really one to cry at videogames but one that made me burst out into tears would be FINAL FANTASY VIII WITH "EYES ON MEEEEEE!"

Just kidding.

But in all seriousness an example of where I felt a tinge of emotion would be the first few scenes of the second half of Final Fantasy VI, when you have no clue how to play the fish-feeding minigame (I hate posting from an ipod touch I borrowed from my brother so I can't post spoilers that well), and yet another example would be the last few scenes of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.

Spoiler: Last Window
- Tony fessing up at the end of chapter 4, believing himself to be worthless, with Silent Tears in the background.
- On a Tony-related note, his reaction to Kyle finally calling him a friend during the Christmas chapter made me d'awww. Especially since I had Belief on the jukebox.
- The song Promise was incredibly touching. Sidney's and Claire's backstory also qualifies.
- The whole lighthouse thing with Margaret.
- When Kyle was clutching onto the Scarlet Star in front of the last window his father saw before dying, while thinking about said father, I cried.

Not sure if I answered this thread already, but it's been a while, so~

(end game spoilers for everything, so don't click unless you've beaten them (or don't care)!)

Spoiler: Kingdom Hearts (all of them, but 358/2 Days and II in particular)
Xion's death broke my heart in particular; that ending evoked more emotion from me more than any other game in the series - and yes, I played Birth by Sleep. (Terra's ending made me wibbly and certain scenes in Ven's story when he's imagining Terra did the same, but I never full on cried :\)

As for II, oh god. "You're lucky, Sora... now my summer vacation is..." ;___; Maybe that's just because I love Roxas though. But yeah, the end of his "tutorial" phase thing. Oh, and Sora kneeling before Saix and begging him about Kairi got me all wibbly, don't remember if I quite cried or anything though. ^^;

...on a different note, Demyx and Xigbar's boss fights also made me cry. TEARS OF BLOOD.

Spoiler: Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
The ending. Claire. Full stop. Seriously, I... really didn't see that massive tear-jerker coming. The most emotion Layton's ever shown combined with the first time we see his hair under his top hat? ;__; Baaawwww! Definitely one of my video game OTPs. Also Luke's "BUT I'M NOT A GENTLEMAN YETTTT" got mixed reactions of more crying and a bit of giggling from me. Yeah, it was a really weird experience. But the scene very sweet.

Spoiler: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
I know. I know, Shinji wasn't even a SEES team member for long, but his death really hit me where it hurts for some reason. The waterworks didn't come until the next (in game) day though, when you see Akihiko talking to him, and crying, and just... ;_; asdfg;hjgfd;

Also, the ending. Oh god. The Nyx Avatar battle when everyone was lending their strength to the MC, and Aigis's scenes as well. D:

...and since I'm playing the girl version of the story in P3P, I get to experience it all again, yaaaay ^^;

...hmm, I'll say The World Ends with You also made me cry, but... I'm not sure if it was anything to do with the ending specifically. Just... man, something about Lullaby for You ;_;
