That could open up to a Rare character, going to have to let it play out and see.
But, if that's the case, then there's going to have a to be a villain to said Hero because of the story mode.

You know, it seems more and more things are going to be unlockable. Characters, stages, music, stamps, trophies, now stage design items (possibly). The best part of it is, even when this game makes Japan first, I doubt they'll be unable to unlock everything by the time it gets to America.

My guess is that the coins are going to be used for gambling somehow like betting on mutliplayer/online matches. Plus, they are still going to be used for continues like in Melee, I'm guessing.
I'm gonna have to agree with Tinker on this one, not every character needs a villian. In fact, some of them can't have a villian. In the Ice Climbers game, there isn't a final boss or any kinda villians unless you count the Polar Bears in Pink Thongs as bad guys. The same goes for Mr. Game and Watch if he is to return. Plus, in Pokemon, there is no such thing as evil Pokemon, only Pokemon that do evil thing that their trainers tell them to do (thus making the trainers evil like Team Rocket/etc.) And with the Pokemon Trainer, we can pretty much tell he is based on the hero for FireRed/LeafGreen. And Mewtwo (whose return is still unknown) techically isn't evil, just more of an Anti-Hero instead of bad-guy. We certainly can't be a villain or an anti-hero for every character in Brawl.
The problem with Fox's main villians is that they can't really be used to make a decent fighter since almost every one of them is a whole stage in size, and lack the humanois shape that every fighter in Brawl has. Andross is a freakin floating head with hand which would pretty much basic character design. Captain Shears wasn't even in any of the games which pretty ruins his chance of ever making a reapperance. General Scales is the closest thing to a normal fighter for a actual Starfox Villian and he just pretty much sucked as his minion did all of his fighting for him. The Aparoid Queen was basically Andross with several forms and an addicition to "charging her lazers". And the Emperor Anglar is about the same Metroid's Ridley but not as good or as cool. I will say that they might make some nice adventure mode bosses (64/GC Andross would have the best chance at this) but we'll have to wait and see. If we get an villian-ish character for the Fox that is playable, It's gonna be Wolf O'Donnell.

Anyway, I think King triple "De"'s final smash could be him getting really mad and turning invicible(shows by turning red and blowing steam). A better one might be summoning that guy that gives Dedede monsters to kill Kirby, to help him. That certain guy could be an assist tropy...

Which is beyond the word 'tragic'.
I think as far as games in the DK and Star Fox series are concerned, we are safe. After all, Krystal is going to be in this game one way or another, and she would be a Rare 'character', since that's how she was introduced.
I bet that she'll be announced by the end of this week, I truely believe that.

Honestly, I do agree that they might show her soon but I don't think it's going to be this week since we just got King Dedede last week. And there is usually a week gap between revealing of characters. The earliest we are likely get her or another character would be Monday/Tuesday of next week.

Normally, I'd agree, but Diddy Kong was announced the week after Pokémon Trainer was; I double-checked that, it is correct.
Besides, I'd think they'd want to announce all the starter characters ASAP, so that they don't have to be as careful with the screenshots as they normally would be.

It starts off like a normal mountaintop (with a nice view of the aurora borealis, to boot), but soon the ice starts cracking and the whole stage goes sliding down the mountain. It eventually winds up in the ocean, where any added weight causes the stage to sink. Stage hazards include the shorts and sunglasses-wearing polar bears and some rather odd fish.
