The problem? The last time they sent it out to me it had been restored to factory settings, so when I went into the E-shop and Miiverse it had me making brand new accounts so I lost all my stuff. Now they are fiddling to restore those things as far as I know on a new one.

Hmmmmmm Maaaaaaaaaaaaan I want the CHarizard event to get its lazy ass to America now. I want dat Charizarite X damn it. But then again I am fine with my Charzarite Y because I can actually do some fucking damage to Grass and Water Types as Mega Charizard Y xD

Yes that's true, I swapped the SD card with a bigger size one and transferred the Data when I first got it.
However that's not exactly how digital products work. When I got my 3DS back, before I'd checked the e-shop everything was there. Stuff still didn't work (the original problem) but it was there. I heard the data might be corrupted which could be causing it. So I opted to delete one of the games and redownload it to see if that fixed the problem. The alternative was formatting the SD card which would have wiped everything.
I go into the shop, it treats me like a new customer, thinks I've never bought anything so I couldn't redownload the games. I leave the e-shop and because it's now woken up and thinks I'm a new customer I no longer own the rights to play any of the games I downloaded so they don't show up on the menu. They are probably still stored on the SD-card but I'm not allowed to play them.
If it worked the way of just having an SD card folks would just copy paste the software to everyone.

Eh, might as well. I've only managed to raise one "competitive" Pokémon, though. The rest are just some I got lucky and found. My friend code is 0044 - 3312 - 8020. Just, ignore the name I gave to the player character. Seriously, ignore it. I'd change it if I could.

While they didn't lie when they said they were showing first footage, all it is is a 30 second video of Kyogre and Groundon on a battleground. They weren't fighting any pokemon but there were 2 short videos where the camera spinning around them.
