That's an awesome game. I just started replaying it a little while ago. :will:

I remember when that game came out. My best friend had it on his GAME BOY COLOR!!

I thought it was the coolest thing ever!

*EDIT*
It was actually Oracle of Seasons. But whatever. :pft:

They're practically the same, right?

The only thing I'll say is that the games have a different "storyline". By that - I mean that they have different gameplay. And different difficulty. Plus - I also believe Oracle of Ages is more "harder" than seasons (because Ages focuses on puzzles whereas Season's focuesus on challanges).

Yeah, Ages was definately tougher than Seaons. That being said, if you plan to play them both to get the 'true' ending, you'll want to start with Ages.

Spoiler: Both games
The Roc's Cape you get in Seasons is far more useful in the final battles than the Merman Suit.

That game was an amazing installment in the DS lineup.

I'm just messing around on Sin and Punishment (takes about 30 minutes to beat it), quite a phenomenal game! And I've also picked up Mario Kart Wii, again; at first I thought this was a pathetic excuse for a Mario Kart game, but picking it up I've realized that it's actually really amazingly good.

I am such a balloon :meekins:

If I recall correctly - since I didn't get Ages a few years ago (until now), I believe I need to complete it first BEFORE I can transfer the file over the Seasons to start a new file with all the decent items at the start? Either way - I prefer to start right at the beginning. Even if it means I'm going to get stuck on level 4 like I did last time :yuusaku:.

It's for the PC, and you can try/buy it here. I haven't played too far in it yet, but it does look promising.

Thank you :) I'm hoping to try out Time Hollow and Jake Hunter (the 2nd one) one day. JH still isnt out in the UK though.

You can actually start with either game. Normal items (bombs, feather, etc.) don't transfer from one game to the other though; only rings do, and then only if you get the passwords.

So either way, you're still essentially starting from scratch. Only difference when you begin is the second game starts you with an extra heart container.

Ah I see.

But I'm going to need a link cable for one of those no? And me being a complete idiot as usual, I don't have one (nor have I bought one) :beef:.

Ah it doesn't matter anyhow. I can only pray to god that those puzzles don't frustrate me like they did years ago.

Super Mario Bros 3.

I have completed this game too many times, and I still never get bored of the game.

I am now attempting to try and get through every single world not only by skipping a level.... and not only by not using a single power-up (getting items while in a level doesn't count), but I'm also trying to not lose a single life.

...It's damn frustrating :nick:.

I'm passing the time waiting for AAI by replaying every known Castlevania game. I never realized how easy Symphony of the night was. XD. Now that I beat it, I'm spending my time battling online on Platinum. If anyone cares for a battle, I'm game. Just PM me.

I was looking for something to play on the Wii earlier today, and I was going through the shelves seeing a bunch of crappy preowned family fun games, when I happened to stumble upon something that looked like it might be respectable, called Okami. I don't often make impulse buys, but so far it hasn't dissapointed.

If you are talking about the game store then no...

It is a place called "Cool Stuff" (that is literally the name), they sell new and used games that came out recently. And games that came out when the NES and other older systems came out along with almost every single game system you can think of. Cheap price too!

Back on topic, I am multi-tasking between playing Hotel Dusk (have not finished it yet) and Super Mario Galaxy.

And trying to play Mario 64 again...

Oh, the controls are pain in the ass, that much is true. The opening cutscene also drags on just a bit... but yeah, otherwise it's been a very good game.
