Also are we really sure we can vote for third party characters? Because that's what's been keeping me from voting yet, I don't wanna waste my vote if they're just gonna disregard all third party characters.

I liked Roy too. More than Martha for sure but there cannot be ANOTHER fire emblem candidate.

I sure did! After Nick was basically the laughing stock character of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 I'd like to see a new fighting game iteration of him.

The fight I had there I started with my greeting taunt as I normally do and Mac runs right up to me while taunting (clearly lacking good sportsmanship)...and tries to counter me mid-taunt.
I'm just flat out confused for a moment before I ram my Ganon fist in his little face.

I would absolutely love to see Phoenix Wright in Smash, but I don't think he could 'cause he was in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3.
And I would vote for Professor Layton, but... I dunno, I feel like he wouldn't fit here. I kinda doubt it's gonna be a 3rd party character, but it was never ruled out, so it's possible.
-Also, the voting apparently ends on October 3rd 2015. Does this mean the voting ends then and THEN a new fighter is created? We aren't going to get that fighter until 2016!

Mega Man has been in MvC games since the first one. I don't see why Capcom wouldn't borrow Phoenix like they did MM.
I voted for him myself, after all. I figured if enough people vote third party characters, the more would Nintendo have to consider them.

Since Wario doesn't have a shoulder charge-esque move, Nick could have it as his forward smash. And his recovery could be a ladder. Desk slam could be a move also, as a down smash.
Just thinking off the top of my head, really.

If I have to put input for a new character, I'd go for Rayman or Prince Fluff. I think they'd bring some unique fighting styles into the game. It'd be neat having a ranged combat fighter.

Pierre, I'm still confused by your decision to triple suicide your Trucy Mii.
I could say I had stuff to do but honestly I figured that after such a terrible opening I may as well sit that round out.
(Disclaimer: I'm definitely not saying Trucy should drown herself. I really like Trucy and DD crippled her horribly)
I bowed out too. Good rounds been a long time since I've been able to have just a relaxed smash, everything is always one-to-one no items seriousness. Which has it's place but so does the Chaos of a true Smash.
That last battle was amazing. I land a fatal Ganondorf elbow on Yoshi who is almost certainly doomed considering its percentage. It shudders in that way that fatally struck foes do...and Kirby eats it. Taking away all the satisfying momentum and replacing it with just "Uh....whoops".
Edit: Also pretty sure it's Sjibbey's Trucy Mii. I don't take Credit for it's creation.
