My thoughts: *sigh* Well the day after Christmas is never as good as Christmas itself....now I don't expect much from them. For some of the Veteren characters not announced yet, I'm not giving up, their popularity gave Melee an extra boost with what it already had.

It's one of the five options in the vault.
You tilt left and right with the shooter at the bottom, and shoot with the actual coins you got. No more boring Lottery >O
When a trophy appears, you try to shoot it..
And then you try and get it.
They will get away, but once you land a few shots, you get the trophy.
If you defeat smaller enemies, you can get a rapid-fire stream every once in a while. There are also enemies, which decrease your coin gauge:
Kaboom.
After you're done, it will show the trophies and stickers you got.
It's best to play lots of matches with lots of friend to get lots of coins.

First update is the Dragoon, an item which we also saw as a trophy yesterday. It's a ride from Kirby's Air Ride, and works like this:
It is made up of three parts, one of which appears here.

You can see how many parts (and which) you have, as they're above your icon on-screen:
When you attack opponents, they may drop the item, and when you kill them, they'll always drop it.
After you've gathered all three, you can use it..
Aim for an enemy..
And shoot. If it hits, it's a One-Hit KO.

Second update is "Share". It's about enabling or disabling the Nintendo "Smash Service" which has you sent updates and pictures, and, presumably, stage builder levels.
Sakurai really wants you to put this on :p
The pics that have Download on them are sent by Nintendo. Nintendo's sent stuff will also be automatically overwritten, so you don't lose too much space.
If it was a friend, it's like this:

And there you see who has sent it and it fits into place.

Well, considering it's pretty much a one-hit KO if it connects, the three items would have to be very rare. I think it would work in a way that their initial appearance is rare, but if one part does appear the other two parts would be timed spawns thereafter, by about a minute or two each.
On a side note, the Japanese site now features the official box art next to the release date. I guess the same will happen on the other sites when their appropriate versions go to print.

Yeah, because that sentence clearly states whether it's controlled or not ;P
If you want it to be very strong, I doubt it would be controlled, as a homing attack would be far more devastating.

2 characters from the Poke'mon(Actually 3 in one of them)
1 character from the Starfox series
1 character from the Warioware series
1 character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series
1 character from the Metal Gear series
1 character from the Metroid series(2 in one)
1 character from Kid Icarus
1 character from Fire Emblem Path of Radience and Radient Dawn
1 character from Mother 3
1 character from Ice Climber
That's all of them. I would think that it needs at least one or two more characters before release.

I hope for quite a few characters to be inputted into this new list, but I'll say this much:
The idea of TWO secret characters only? It leaves a loooooooot of room for our best hopes... But then again, they could remain just that: Our hopes, and nothing more... Dear lord, GotA is infectious.
