If we see Megaman used, expect a PW-related assist trophy somewhere in it. *prays for a decent Franziska trophy*

However, we already know that Ganondorf will be used, so... that makes ONE Unlockable... and currently, Falcon is also an "unlockable" it seems... assuming they don't release any more characters... but then again, that would mean... Shiek would have to be unlockable too...!?

And for the record: I'd love to see a "courtroom" stage as an homage to the PW series... but even more than that: Remember the events in Melee? The "Battle on the trophy!" ones? ...... can you imagine battling on Gant's hairstyle? XD

Megaman was already deconfirmed quite some time ago. Sheik, if she's back, would be a transformation of Zelda, so not unlockable, and Falcon can be either.

I managed to get myself signed up for getting the Smash Bros.: Brawl guide by renewal offer (which took a Lotta-Hart sized rant to sieze) so I should be getting it with my february issue... but I refuse to read it until I have unlocked enough characters to the point where I start saying "HOW DO I GET THAT ONE???".

..... but I'll be hoping for a PW-content related item/stage/character/trophy etc., in the game... but to be honest, I can't see Capcom "okay-ing" PW and not Mega Man... it'd be like Nintendo saying to Sony "You can't use Cranky Kong, but you can use "Really Gnasty!"... then again, those are pretty different comparisons anyways.

I thought Capcom was holding up resistance! MAN! They put in a Sega character, and not a Capcom one???... or did they, and I just suck at remembering? (because I thought Diddy Kong was also licensed to Rare, and they are with Microsoft now...?)

Diddy Kong is Nintendo's.
Sonic was asked for and put in because he was easily the most requested third-party character, and Snake because Kojima had pleaded Nintendo to do so. Megaman is currently the most requested third-party, but that way you could go on forever ;)

Don't forget about the Smash from the Nintendo 64! The DS is an upgraded N64! (Look at what they did to SM64 and DKR!) They could easily make an upgraded SSB 64. Plus there is an expansion pack (included with DS Opera browser) that they can use for games (and they did mention that in the browser manual) that would boost the DS's power even more! And if they didn't need the expansion pack they could include the rumble feature! A slight downgrade would be worth getting a portable SSB! (Include some DS Wii connection and we have a WIN!)

True enough.... however, in truth, Smash portable is good... but it wouldn't be the best for Wi-Fi, which is the main point of Smash: Multiplayer, free-for-all, brawls.

Here are all three Japanese commercials. They're quite cool, showing Groudon, giant Metroid AT, Ice Climbers Final Smash, Dedede's puff float. Sure, all things we knew that were in, but never saw in action.

This seems to be the only Jump Festa video around. It shows Kirby's Final Smash and a whole lot of Japanese spam. It was really hard to film there, iirc.

Jump Festa was an anime/gaming event in Japan, where Super Smash Bros. Brawl was playable, too. Sonic and DK were traded out for Kirby and Wario there. Kirby seems to be buffed and more like his N64 counterpart, and Wario is fairly slow and with a DK-like recovery.

Mostly because there was a lot more security there, and harder to film overall (less crammed, so no place to hide).

Honestly? I don't want to see, like, 2 vs. 2 matches online of 4 characters that I have no idea who they are, and are all secret! If they REEEEALLY won't release the characters UNTIL the game comes out? Then... heck, I'll try to get as many as possible before each release! :larry2:

Honestly though, when I check the people who have already made me "Wii Friends" I always see your two names and think "I better improve fast, cuz that'll be some damn serious competition there!".

Today's update is five returning stages from Melee. They seem to be about the same as they were last time. They are:

- Yoshi's island (was this stage also called Yoshi's Island in Melee?)
- Corneria
- Onett
- Brinstar
- Rainbow Ride

So far that's 25 stages, six of which are returning from Melee. None from the original SSB as of yet (though I suppose you can count Corneria for that).

Seeing as it's a whole new game, and not Melee 2.0, you'll probably beat me pretty easily when this game finally comes out in Europe :yuusaku:

Also, cool update today. I'm hoping for Great Bay to come back, as it was my favourite stage in Melee.

Secondly, Yes, yoshi's Island was a stage... bu I could've sworn that it was called something different then...

Lastly, I'm hoping Great Bay comes back as well, but not really, like, 100%. Reason why: Great Bay was a great stage, indeed, but... well....... It wasn't really "marked" as one of my favorites.

Why don't the creators just say it?: Final Destination is a stage!?!?!?!? We all know it'll be in, after all...!

It is more of a Mario stage, themed after Super Mario World. While it was the game that contained Yoshi's debut, and its sequel was subtitled Yoshi's Island, the first game wasn't really focused on Yoshis much at all outside of being able to ride them.

nothing like loosing because of an arwing. i was about to fly off of onett once, my oponent got hit by the car and went flying faster out of the stadium. when he saw who won he was so pissed. sometimes, it's more fun to play on stages like that were something can come up and change the game at any moment

p.s. why did u want to dislike me for that post
