The Paraskevi isn't a horrible GUILT to deal with. In my opinion, the most difficult is Deftera (I can't pass this with an XS anymore). So yeah... I need to practice more.

Really? Deftera is so easy for me... it's definitely Paraskevi that gave me the most trouble... and still gives me the most trouble today.

But I like Deftera. One of my favorites to operate on. =D That and Pempti.

The only time I HATED Paraskevi was in 6-7 of SO. The last patient was horrible on vitals, AND you start at the heart.

Really? I like Deftera. Fun, easy, glitchy. Glitches make me laugh. Paraskevi isn't too bad. Kyriaki is an absolute cakewalk. Savato gives me a headache and makes me sweaty, and Triti is ABSOLUTE HELL! I'm at the Delphi place with all the sick babies and I can't pass the Triti one. I fell asleep with my DS open last night when I was playing it and when I woke up, I had no idea I had fallen asleep and was wondering why my DS wasn't turning on. Then I played AJ to calm my nerves because Lamiroir's voice calms me down and Trauma Center gets me so agitated.

Ah, the infamous Triti...

If you want to take the cheap way out, activate your HT at the beginning of the operation. Proceed to remove all thorns, and then cut out all of the triangles. You won't get an S-rank, but it'll make it easier to excise the Triti before more triangles grow.

Oh, thanks for the tip. Because it's the only GUILT I really have any problems handling. I can get the S-rank when I replay it. I remember for the longest time I couldn't disarm that bomb at the conference. xD

I only have TC1 for the DS.
Figures both Wii games would be hard to find the moment I got a Wii!

Someone saved over my first save file, so I have to work through the game AGAIN (almost finished...currently going through the "GUILT Endurance" levels; playing through multiple operations in one go).

Before I lost my file, I managed to beat X-1 only to get slaughtered in X-2.

I would have, but I'm usually in a sleep-deprived state when I play my DS and I couldn't figure out which thing to get rid of with the laser. My little sister actually pointed it out to me. :keiko:

The 5 second timer that activates as you cut the wires is really stressful I beat it with 1 second left on the clock and the worse thing is you couldn't even use the healing touch to slow things down.

Well I got by the Miracle episode with Dr. Weaver in SO and got an A rank but I am now stuck on Something Precious and tumors keeps coming at me. As you know, using gel especially in the second part aggravates it and injections don't keep the health up fast enough.

I also watched a few solo operations for New Blood and noticed that if they use the healing touch with no misses they can still get an XS rank! I liked it better when you had to work to get that S rank like in the DS version you couldn't use the healing touch or you won't get it.

I'm still going to not use HT even if the operations that I can't get past are hard as hell. :grey:

Triti is easy because it can be surrounded, Paraskevi is easy because theres only three things to do in the operation aside from cutting the patient and finishing the operation.

Well lessee if we're now talking about our most hated GUILT...
I probably already mentioned it, but I guess my worst GUILT would be... DEFTERA. Grr, the X-mission kept killing me on SO for about a month (but that's cuz I gave up for a while) until I spammed my HC with Nozomi and zapped tumours like crazy XD it was actually kinda fun, but I was sweating to death when I finished and my heart rate wouldn't slow down hehe.
My favorite GUILT is Savato, hands down. It's got an awesome theme, it's fairly challenging (ok, REALLY challenging... on the X-mission for me at least), and I love the whole "unlimited time" at the end when I fool around alot. Is it just me, or does the difficulty change sometimes when you play the X-mission? Like seriously, I beat it easy-peasy the first time, but when I went back to play it, all of a sudden every time I'd start stitching the 3 cuts it makes, it makes another set before I'm done and again and again... or maybe I was just slower... hmm...

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet. First things first...does anyone have tips for 6-7 for a person (aka me) who still doesn't get Triti after UtK and SO????? Please don't try to explain it to me anymore. No explanation ever made me understand that stupid GUILT and I always HT my way out of it. The furthest I've gotten to is finishing Deftera (which is rare since I can't use HT after using it on Triti) and got killed easily with Paraskevi. Getting the hang of the Deftera part with some luck but Paraskevi starting at the heart? HELP!!! :sob:

Anyway, I'm so excited that UtK 2 is coming out! It's great that Trauma Centre is going back to the DS because I feel that's where it truly belongs. SO on Wii feels...strange, since you don't get to touch the screen and "feel" the actual operation. DS version is win :redd:

In terms of GUILT huh...aside from Triti which I don't understand at all, I'd say for UtK, Paraskevi was the most pain in the arse. As for SO...it's probably a tie between Paraskevi and Pempti. I got soooooo frustrated at one point dealing with Pempti because one mistake and BAM the entire operation is gone. Haven't played NB or any of the X-missions yet but I'll definitely have to try those out...if and when I finish SO, that is (6-7, help?)

EDIT: Finished the game last night, yay! Currently on Tetarti for the X-Missions. Must play NB next!

"The Vitals!" *Injects serum till the patient is back to 50 health*

So Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 comes out today! I got my copy but is it just me or are the operations kind of easy even on normal mode? Then again I only done four operations so far it will probably get harder.

I like it that they revamp the tools section! It feels like I am playing a hand held version of SO/NB which is good.

I wanna get Under the Knife 2 so bad.
I never played the 1st one, but I played Second Opinion which frustrated me to my wits end. Probably because it was on the Wii.
But yeah, I might have a steadier hand with the DS.

I see so many spoilers XD;;

Anyway this game is fun! Although at first I was freaked out that I killed so many patients for failing the operations... if only my little sister hadn't told me she had a classmate that's wicked good at the game. I felt challenged all of a sudden :0

My fav operation is the epic Exploding Patient. That is probably the best game over EVER. 8DDDDD seriously, I don't understand how you people could be so good! I always get a C or B at first time playing! D:

(noooooooo stupid comp erased my last message ;_;) man UtK 2 is amazing, and I bought it the day it came out (that made me feel special) and I beat the main storyline last night on easy (... what? I wanted to enjoy the story more... I'M NOT A NEWBIE!!! *foams at mouth*) buuuut the first TC game I picked up was SO for the Wii, so I have to admit that I'm a bit clumsy with the Stylus O.o I LOVE the drama in this game... though Heather can go kill herself for all I care, I didn't like her very much -_-
BUT the story was great and I got my much-needed dose of DerekxAngie (yessssssssssssssssssss man) fluffage.... but btw, Tulba is a guy..... wait you guys already knew that? butbutbut..... *was totally confused* I honestly thought Tulba was a girl until I read the lil manual that referred to him as "he". I was like, "WH-WH-WHAT?!!" but then I realized, "oh, that's why he's flat-chested >.<" And I thought Emilio was a girl too at first (but I knew I was wrong as soon as I read his name) ........................... *scoots away*
Spoiler: UtK2 Ending (sorta) and random games stuff that might be spoilery... AVERT THINE EYES!
I thought the ending was a bit... meh, though. The bad guy this time around was nowhere near as epic as Adam, and his assistants scared me >.< but I LOVED the music for the last operation, as I always do. I haven't tried the confidential operations yet cuz I SUCK at the stylus right now *trains* and also, I loved the fluff but geez, Derek and Angie need to get married NAO! Friggin New Blood destroyed my dreams.... *sniff* And I couldn't stop laughing when Tyler says, "DENIED!" XD I like how they have clips of their voices this time around...

yea I should stop now before I write a whole novel on it... <_< I want MOAR

You could try working one worm at a time. Even has it shrinks just keep going down till you have it small enough to pick it. Then just pick them and go to the next smallest worm and up. Keep the other(s) frozen with the laser. If you want just let the other big one go while working with the one. Also you don't have to work on the worm the whole time. You can stop and start healing. Just keep those worms frozen. Another thing is you don't have to heal every cut. After like a certain amount like 5 or 6 or whatever is there just stop and heal them. Another way is to watch youtube videos.

Ugh, now I've got to wait for UTK2 to get a European release. And I'm too lazy to import. What I'm curious about is how they've incorporated the defibrillator in the DS. Is it simply "tap at the right time" or is there a more fun way to get the patient's heart going again?

It similar to the Wii. You move up the screen to put it on the patient, and then you tap and hold onto the screen and then you let go once the bar hit the spot needed.

I just started playing and already on the 2nd chapter. I didn't like the feel of Adel in the beginning. It feel like AJ:AA but the opposite.

btw choco, which mission is that? I can only remember the numbers not the actual operation.
btw2, is it just me or is TC:UtK2 is more easier to get a higher grade. I think I been getting Cs the first time through for all 3 TC before TC:UtK2. in TC:UtK2 I been mostly getting B's, a few A's, and a couple of S's in just the first chapter.

New Blood... had it's strengths and weaknesses. On the one hand, you're not over wealmed with Guilt Stigma patients. But, on the other hand, a ton of those non-stigma operations seemed thrown in.

Also, New Blood is best enjoyed with a partner. It's very possible to beat the game solo, but there are points where it's clearly marked that the level was designed with 2-player in mind. That's not a bad thing by any means, and I wish that there were more co-operative games. But it's something important to remember.

Next, Altus tried really hard to make this game Anti - Second Opinion/Under the Knife.

In Under the Knife you start as a single Doctor, an idiot, and grow up and move forward in your career.
In New Blood, you're a pair of competent doctors, never really have a change of heart about anything, and every exchange to the next hospital is against your will.

To give you an idea of how transformed the characters are, I'll go with the Victor/Doctor Spyglasses guy

In UtK, Victor is jerk (Awesome Jerk no less) who covers himself in research and helps you help him to figure out how to crush monsters like Pemti or however you spell it.

In New Blood, this guy gives you solutions for stuff before you knew there was a problem. (Wait, how did YOU know were were going to deal with tri-veins?). He comes off as god a bit too easily. Give him 5 unsupervised minutes and I'm sure he'd either create a Stigma vaccine or a perpetual motion machine.

The new blood character is more 'useful' then Victor, but in terms of storyline, he comes off super weak.

To summarize, there were a ton of weak characters trying to combat a virus, that had diminished significance because there was significantly less emphasis on the anti-virus aspect of the game, so that in turn made the whole point of the game (Fight Stigma) less of a big deal. The result: The story sucked. Terrible.

Did that effect the gameplay? Not at all. Though, I found New Blood's music very forgettable. Nothing that'll turn your head like the Guilt theme or Savato X's theme. Operation briefings are also less important.

And my final complaint. Voice Acting. Very slow and boring. No one had special voices. And then phrases like "I'm Starting the Operation" "Lets begin the operation" are all diminished because they're a part of the vocal script and don't grab your attention like before.

It may sound like I'm being harsh on New Blood, and I am, but play the game for the game play and forget everything else. If you do that, then it's a awesome addition to the series.
