Wait till you see Shanghai Honey. The level's quite easy but... one slipup and you're almost dead. Sometimes you even fail without missing any! You'll see what I mean.

Is it Over The Distance? I found that level annoying because of the sound that comes up when you hit a note - it's too quiet

Ouch. 0_o Sounds brutal. I had that problem sometimes in hard mode... I'd get to a really tough section, and even though I'd hit all the notes, I wouldn't being hitting them well enough...
Oh, and I just did a piece of fanwork that I can hopefully scan later. ^_^

I bought my copy of OTO2 on eBay, but there may be some game stores that stock imported games. That's where I bought EBA three weeks before it was officially released.

I never got around to finishing ouendan 1, actually... i'm probably halfway through the extra hard level. I stopped because I got ouendan 2 given to me. It took me longer get into the songs... and it's harder, I think. Well, not so much think, but that's my excuse. I'm currently sulking and not playing it because I'm stuck on the skating girl's stage at extra hard - it's really annoying to me that you can have a perfect hit rate, and still fail. who cares if i got a few '100's, geez!
EBA is pretty good too... even though i wanted to kill myself after having to play 'without a fight' a thousand times on Hard because it took me way too long to pass 'Jumpin' Jack Flash'. What's weirder is that I passed it on Diva mode within a few tries (compared to a few weeks on-and-off). And now I can watch Commander Kahn dance like a girl.
Even though I only like a few of the songs on it (bowie, earth wind fire, jamiroquai, rolling stones, jackson 5, deep purple... that's about it really), but the stories in some of them were worth playing through (like the 3rd bonus song, 'I'm a Survivor'... best story EVAR).

(I beat JJF on Sweatin' after a total of 31 tries (With a PERFECT mind you). I haven't gotten to it on Hard ROCK! yet.)

I've been watching more vids of Ouendan 2, and the final story seems very similar to EBA. What is it about anyway?

Every GS build with the exception of 4 has a language option. I was able to play the first three in both languages.
Also, Japanese books are awesome. Even if you don't understand it, you'll begin to.

As they dance, they persuade everyone else to cheer and sing along, first starting with Japan, then other countries, and finally, all the animals and landmarks join in as well. Their built up musical energy turns into a purple laser which shoots towards the burnt out sun and revives it, saving civilization.
As the sun rises and warms the world again, everyone starts cheering and thanking the Ouendan, both teams stood side by side on top of the hill, and the Ouendan theme plays. It ends with everyone shouting at the same time "OSU!".
I think that's how it goes.

Awesome. Though it is VERY similar to EBA to an extent. I must say though, the final song on insane looks difficult only because of those weird pauses between beats. (Or is it just me?)

I noticed that occasionally it would select JJF straight off - I think it depended on whether I quit halfway through an attempt, or let it fail... something like that. Well, since I've pretty well finished the game, doesn't really bother me - Kahn makes every song fun to play~
And while Coppo pretty much covered the last story, the reason they seem similar as well is because of course the two games were being developed at the same time, by the same people. You can even see characters from either game within the other (compare the movie making one to the author, and of course the Catzilla story).

If you clicked on the Earth, you play Not Without a Fight. I fyou clicked on the giant floating eyeball (Rhombulan Mothership) then you start right off at Jumpin Jack Flash.

All the shaking caused me to miss loads of notes, so I ended up getting like a D on my favourite stages.

2. If you beat the game: Giant Star
And I'm getting Ouendan tomorrow. I just had a surgery today and my mom is going to the store around my house (where they sell imports) to get it. I switched my on,ine order to Ouendan 2.

I didn't think of it till the last minute. :P
And Also: My surgery was to have a cyst removed. I was awake for the procedure. (Well, parts of it anyway). But it took forever to get discharged...
