New Blood is the hardest one to get a higher rank on by yourself though. I tried a couple of the operations on normal by myself and I still got a C Rank! Even if I try the skin graft operation by myself I get down to 50 seconds remaining on the timer when I finish so if I want a higher rank I have to complete it faster. :grey:

It still is a great game but it is hard if you are going to play through the whole thing by yourself it still is possible though I have seen You Tube videos of single play New Blood.

Is it just me or does it seems like using Healing Touch is more necessary in New Blood then in the previous games?

As much HATE as I have for Triti, I actually think that's one of the GUILTs I would've liked to see in New Blood. Two player trash that virus.

I GOT UTK2222222222222.
This is my first game review (I think >w<):
Graphic: For the DS, it was very nice, and not much of low-quality textures. i loved the character graphic too, and the
Spoiler: Near ending spoilers
Lock operation.

Music: MOST. CATCHY. SHIT. I'VE. EVER. HEARD. I LOVE THE GUILT THEME. (Encroaching Shadows)
Gameplay: It was very fun and addictive. i love the way they put a microphone feature, too.
Overall: I had many fun playing this game. the final boss looked like an eye. No Triti, yay!

Oh, and by the way! i took the time of ripping the music. if anyone wants, i can give. :D

D: I thought I was actually decent at TC, then I read about you guys. I can barely get past X1 on both the DS and Wii versions. I haven't gotten New Blood yet; is it any good?
Also, I must express my distaste at what they did with the art following the initial release of UtK for the DS. Maybe it was because they were going for a more realistic approach than an anime one, but I found the new one...rather dull, to be honest.

Haha that's adorable! I think 6-7 was the hardest mission (at least for me) in Second Opinion. Stupid Triti...I can never get past it without HT, meaning I get stuck without it during Deftera. Took me FOREVER to finish it, but worth the time :redd:

Currently playing UtK2. I liked the drawing of Angie in the first UtK much more than the second one <3. Loving the story so far and the game is really distracting me from my studies. Can't wait to see what happens in the end!

The blood actualy isnt graphic or anything.
I'm really squeamish too. Like the sight of blood and guts gross me out, but its not that bad at all.

If you wanna play, I suggest going to find some screen caps.

I don't think you have anything to worry about; surgery still tops my list of fears in the world, and I don't fancy blood either but TC is extremely tame. I thought the same way when I first got it, but I turned out fine.

I... I know how you feel ._. at first I stopped playing it after failing three times at a certain op but in the end I continued playing it. I guess the more you play the more you see it as a game.

I guess it's sort of like Phoenix Wright where it's not really realistic or anything. The law in Phoenix Wright is rather ridiculous sometimes, and I'm sure the surgery scenes in Trauma Center are very different than what real surgery is like :will:

You can probably find a copy at like, a general media store, example, Best Buy. I dunno if those are universal though, but bascially a place that sells CDs, TVs, and computers.
Where I got my copy of Under the knife 2 there were like...30 copies.. :keiko:

Hehe me too! When I first picked up the DS, my housemates were all so hooked to the game. They tried to convince me to play but I thought it'd be too hard and boring. Then I started playing and just like PW, I couldn't put it down until I completed the entire game :edgy:

There's another Trauma Center for DS?

[Goes Zombie] Must... Get... Nao...

I loved the first UtK (I don't have a Wii, so I don't know what to say of the games there). It raised my blood pressure so much... but it was worth it. So frickin' worth it.

Fun Fact: I got TC over PW and Lost in Blue. I don't regret it one bit. (But hey, I got to play PW eventually. and LiB... I got to play PW eventually!)

I hope we finally get to see what "Bliss" is all about here. DON'T SPOIL MEEEEEEE!!! :accordion-head:

Anyway I don't like the co op feature for one they made the game around it. The Stigma battles just scream Co op and it annoying.

Yea you know I wondered the same thing about the American release. Of course, I didn't pay much attention to it because the main thing was that I was getting it before the people in Japan... muhahahahahha--*shot*

Man I PHAIL at the X-missions on the DS. On the Wii *brags* I'm all pro cuz I can easily defeat the Savato on X-7 (Though freakin Deftera [x-2] took me a whole month and the triti one [x-3] I spammed my HT and went crazy... I almost had a heart attack after that and my brain was throbbing >.<)
But on the DS, I'm so uncoordinated that I keep clicking the wrong button for the syringe and in that amount of time, my patient's vitals are already at 0. >:[ I need to sharpen my surgeon skillz
And on a sortof unrelated topic, there was one operation in UTK2 that freaked me out as soon as I heard about it and I won on easy just cuz... it was "easy". If I try this on normal, I'm so screwed.
Spoiler: UtK2
That one operation where Heather, that one loser *stabs*-- erm I mean where Heather is your assistant and you have to operate on someone without a syringe to heal and with limited antibiotic gel D:

UtK2 has really good music in my opinion. If anyone's played Twilight Princess, you know how on the boss fights when you latch on to them and start beating them up and the music suddenly changes to a lil heroic tune for a bit? Well, that heroic tune seemed kinda similar to the final boss battle music on UtK2. The boss was pretty easy in my opinion, but the music made it super epic and the ending music is... relaxing O.o Although Savior's Forthcoming from Second Opinion shall always be my favorite, these songs come close.

Phew! Finally finished UtK2! Stupid final boss...

Spoiler: final boss
Alethia wasn't all that hard of a boss at all. I just couldn't do it on normal because of stupid Kyriaki that keeps showing up at the second stage. As soon as they appear and make 6 lacerations, I scramble and quickly run out of vitals. Then I played on easy and well...it was rather easy, indeed. Today I tried again on normal and finally beat it! The catch is that Kyriaki didn't show up except for the beginning, fortunately.
