Once you hit a certain rank, you can disable the timer circles and make the hit markers disappear before the beat for added difficulty.

I did it on insane, doing as bad as I possibly could, tons of 50s and 100s, and still pulled out an A despite failing every section.

And re: RSG... the video makes me like it more, for sure. You can actually hear the guitar better, the instruments in general sound better, and I like the chorus. But other than that, I still don't like it--the singer has an awful voice especially during the verses and the "intro" (which is repeated near the end of the song... you know, during the triple spinners part). And I don't like whatever instrument is being played over the guitars before the verses (sounds like a wierd sort of xylophone).

After reading this topic, I feel odd for not knowing about any of the music or artists included in Ouendan. I love it anyway (except for Shonen Heart - that cover must be condemned to the level of Hell normally reserved for Manfred von Karma).

EBA, definably. While Hotel Dusk is very good, EBA is one of the greatest games ever made, so get that first.

Coincidentally, I had this song stuck in my head before I clicked the link. It was just crazy. And yeah, it's my favorite song in OTO. Could use some better steps, though. All Ouendan/EBA songs could.
