I think it's because the mouse goes under hardware rendering.

The last section on Insane is so awkward and tricky to get down. For a moment when I played it a few times, I almost felt a "groove beat" which nearly threw me off.

I FINALLY GOT OUENDAN 2 xD I've played through normal mode and some of hard mode, I won't bother with easy until I've finished the game. My favourite levels are the one with the old man and his dog, the barber, Pop Star and Countdown. I also really like the song to the first stage, it's a big improvement to the slightly annoying first song in Ouendan 1.

1. I looked at the videos and the Ouendan seem older in OTO2. (I know, it took me a while to notice)
2. Shanghai Honey gave me grief on the last section because I couldn't find the beat on Insane. Drove me nuts considering I can get all 300s on the first three sections. (I had to replay this one MANY times.)
3. YAY! I got a few "S"s on Insane. (RSG, OTD, Melody)

Alot of the stories in Ouendan 2 are way too hard to understand compared to 1. Like the one with the old man and his dog, or the one with the man who gets sent to... Mars by his wife? I dunno.

As for the outer space episode, the guy somehow made too many trainers and can't sell them all. When he and his wife argues, he accidentally says "Well it's not like I can sell them to aliens!" which triggers an idea in his wife's mind. Next thing we know, he's sent off to another planet, and he has to sell all the shoes before he can come back home.

Actually, you just need to get 90% 300s. (So the requirements vary between songs.

Basically, Inis have decided to use a similar character (some might claim this is an older self of the boy in the story) and a similar scenario.
Our main character, Okayama Momotarou (notice the name from the story is used) has been told to get rid of the Monsters (western versions of Demon Monsters) from an island along with his dog.
He first meets a monkey and pheasant (like in the story). Then he finds the island. The man and animals defeat the monsters. The monsters surrender and they set up a theme park (well that's instead of them bringing back treasure).

It was available for a while at download stations in Japan, but it's over now, and the only way to obtain it now is by using Action Replay.
Also: In SSAY, since there's no rival squad to the EBA, dancing alongside your selected agent is the Ramen Shop Cat!
