I started TC:UtK2 a while ago, although I haven't finished New Blood. I wish it had online rankings like NB, no reason why it shouldn't have it. Ah well. I'm enjoying it a lot regardless. It actually makes me excited for my surgery rotation this year, though I'm pretty sure it won't be anywhere near as exciting and won't have nearly as many hot nurses/doctors around.

NO OFFENSE to anyone liked this series but In my honest opinion its awful.

At the start its just right, and everything is as it should be. Then its get hard, WAY too fast and There's no way I'd ever beat those levels. Recently (Today) I thought I'd give the game another try. In under an hours time the game had me so upset that I wanted to just kill someone.
Now, if the game and a difficulty selector, I might be able to over look this problem and let those who want a challenge have they're way but no everyone must play on the same level.
Also the controls are really glitchy and refuse to let me save people instead I have to do exactly as the game says as nothing happens on the screen.
Further more, When ever the game does work for me, the retarded ass nurse has to step in and speak to me, messing me up and forcing me to jam the Shut-the-hell-up button repeatedly thus throwing off my whole game.
In case some of you bring this up, Yes I only played the DS version because I had no intentions after playing it to waste any money on the series.

You're playing the first one, right? Yeah, that one was at the point where it has a good concept but gets really difficult fast. Both me and someone I know got completely stuck on the aneurysm mission, soon after you get the healing touch. I much prefer the newest one.

I just beat Aletheia on Easy, using the mouse in an emulator. I feel so proud of myself, though now I wonder if I should get it on DS to see how well I do with a stylus.

Alethia was fun. XD

The ones I hated were Triti (I think that's the retarted triangle one) and Deftera, and Paraskevi. In the first one of course.

The ones in the newer version were easier to deal with since I played on easy XD I liked the new Triti better. ^_^

From best to worst? Oh boy...
Spoiler: GUILT and Neo-GUILT
  • Nous
  • Paraskevi
  • Tetarti
  • Deftera
  • Aletheia
  • Savato
  • Pempti
  • Kyriaki
    - - -
  • Bythos
  • Triti
  • Sige

But if you were to throw in Stigma...
Spoiler: Stigma
  • Cardia I
  • Brachion
  • Soma
  • Ops
    - - -
  • Cardia II
  • Onyx
  • Cheir

And then together...

Spoiler: Stigma, GUILT, and Neo-GUILT
  • Cardia I
  • Nous
  • Brachion
  • Paraskevi
  • Soma
  • Tetarti
  • Ops
  • Deftera
  • Cardia II
  • Aletheia
  • Savato
  • Pempti
  • Kyriaki
    - - -
  • Onyx
  • Cheir
  • Bythos
  • Triti
  • Sige

Also, I've been on an XS'ing spree, which is very rare and unexpected for me. Sure, I XS'd Civil War on Hard the first time I played it, but that mission was fairly easy. Since I finished the first two X-missions, though, I've been getting through things much more quickly. To humor you all (and me), I'll put a list up of my XS's, keeping in mind that they're not the most difficult of operations but it still amuses me that I can actually DO it.

Spoiler: XS Operations of UtK2
  • Refugee Camp (1-1)
  • Novice Mistake (1-3) - Finally. God damn it Angie, STFU!
  • Hidden Peril (1-4)
  • Civil War (1-5) - First XS, I was like 'o.O wtf? Cool!'
  • Fever (1-6) - FEVAH! ...Wait.
  • Alone in the OR (2-1) - Took me two tries.
  • PGS (2-2)
  • To Live On (2-3)
  • Ominous Clouds (2-4)
  • Sinner (2-5) - Managed this somehow, didn't really care for his vitals when I cut the subcutaneous bleedings.
  • Rebirth (2-6) - Used HT at the very beginning. Didn't think it would work, but it did anyway.
  • Familiar Faces (3-5)
  • Losing Faith (4-2) - Wewt wewt, another first-try one.
  • Retaliation (5-2)
  • Abduction (5-4) - HAHA. 00:17:41. I felt so proud.
  • The Trace (5-5) - Stupid detective.
  • The Carrier (5-6) - FKING PEMPTI!
  • Widespread Fear (6-3) - Fking Tetarti, but not so much after playing X-2.
  • Backfire (6-4) - This took a long time to finally get down, but it turns out using HT DOES actually help. Managed to finish it after only one swerving turn. Almost, ALMOST hit two.

And that's it. Whew boy, lots and lots of unnecessary spoiler tag!

What are you talking about, 7-3's my favorite operation! *shot repeatedly*...

I'm just gonna put my #1 hated GUILT types:
Most hated GUILT: Triti (I've figured out the pattern, but.... UUUUGHH I hate that noise it makes when it multiplies, and I have lots of trouble with it on hard [on the Wii version... on the DS, I can barely pass it at all... stupid cutting-out-triangles step...])
Most hated Neo-GUILT: Bythos (I HATE those stupid spore/whachamacallits that sprout around it when you try to get the core out... I can't even pass it on normal ;_;)
Most hated Stigma: Cardia
Spoiler: New Blood
Lame final boss. Not to mention I hate the first part where you take out all the squares and if it happens to be sitting on the square, your chain starts over and all *grr*

... *goes back to nagging my friend to finish UtK 2*

  • Alone in the OR (2-1) - 2000, 00:04:61, 0 Max Chain(Derek needs to STFU.)
  • PGS (2-2) - 5979, 01:57:05, 112 Max Chain

  • Backfire (6-4) - 5825, 00:37:86, 40 Max Chain

Also, Cardia sucks as a boss. Lulz, laser spam. But it's interesting how you - eventually - use all the tools throughout the operation.

Oh, and I got a "C" on 7-3. I agree with Ayasato-chan, fuck aneurysms. I wish it had been another Neo-GUILT, but NOOOO - it's the effects of said GUILT. Fucking aneurysms.

Does anyone else think UTK2's sprites look really lazy? When someone gets "angry", their eyebrows move by a few pixels, and if you're lucky, their iris too. Heck, in the first game, everyone seemed to be completely redrawn when they were: Relieved, Panicked, Normal, Angry, etc.

All right, posted up scores, times, and chains for the XS missions. I managed to re-do a few and get XS's on them, and I finally beat Triti's on Hard. I honestly have no excuse for WHY I wasn't able before, guess I thought I wasn't fast enough... which was a lie apparently. More like thankfully.

So, yeah. Not stellar, but I'm happy with 'em. Now to beat Sige. Hahahahaha... *sigh*

X-1 obliterated me in about 15 seconds.

I've found a few tricks for keeping Kyriaki at bay...

1. Before you finish the last laceration before facing Kyriaki, always raise the vitals as high as they can go, or at least above 80. It's better if you keep a large bleeding hemorrhage open as opposed to a normal laceration, since it's already bled out and won't cause vitals to drop too terribly.
2. Try to keep any and all Kyriaki - including the Queen - above the organ. Cut out all the Kyriaki at once ASAP. They seem to cut less on the organ itself than in it, and that way you can...
3. Slow them down with the antibiotic gel. This trick's been known for a while, and is quite handy. It even works on the queen, and it'll sometimes glitch in UtK2 and make them move slowly even after the gel's dissipated. That, and it'll give you some time to focus on the vitals.
4. Always, ALWAYS search for eggs first. THEY ARE THE PRIORITY. There'll be five rounds of eggs in X-1: 2, 2, 3, 3, and 4. And the first 2 WILL appear with the queen's first appearance, so after suturing her three lacerations spam the ultrasound until you find them.

That's about all I've got, but I bet some of these other people (IE the ones who XS the X missions...) have better tips.

Oh, and Tetarti's a breeze in comparison. Pempti is just as hard if not harder, though. That little bitch.

Oh, Nick. When will you ever learn?

I took several Spanish classes in Junior High and High School, so it was pretty fun to be several steps ahead when Heather started translating.
Spoiler: plot
It does suck though...you do so much to try to save the guy, in something like 3 different operations...and apparently operated on him in the first game as well

I'm gone for so long, and the colors got all psychedelic! Woohoo!

Spoiler: UTK 1 & 2
So does that mean Emilio was the 1st Sinner in UTK 1 because he had Kyriaki when you first operate on him in UTK 2?

Spoiler: UtK 2
Wait, I thought he had Triti... or was that just in the liver they put in him? I'm not too sure at the moment...
I freakin' flipped when Emilio went bye-bye.
*goes on random tangent*
One of my friends who happens to be mexican and a gamer (which is why he's a buddeh of mine =D) like making jokes about how Mexicans are never shown in games. He told me to tell him what I thought of UtK 2 (he hasn't played it) and I told him about Emilio.
Me: So he's a cool Mexican kid who I thought was a girl because of the long hair, but I still thought he was awesome...
Friend: Aw sweet, there's a Mexican kid!
Me:... but he dies. ;_;
Friend: @#!. *starts long rant about games again*
And once he wouldn't give me my water bottle back until I admitted that Derek was a girl... but I just said he was a pretty boy and he gave it back. :P
*stops tangent*

... Emilio will always be my amigo. <3
