Good People Die will not only be localized, but its localization will be announced soon, specifically in the March 2012 issue of Nintendo Power.
Here's what we know:

This has been shown to just be something companies say before an official announcement, but look at the careful wording, "Some nice publisher." Apparently, Aksys has used that wording in the past when referencing themselves.

Even if the game wasn't translated in more languages, it'd be great if we had an English release in those countries *shakes fist at Nintendo for their stupid region-lock on 3DS games*

On a side note, the Japanense release of Good People Die is in less than 48 hours. Can we all agree right now not to post major plot spoilers outside of spoiler tags that specifically state that they contain them? I wasn't spoiled on 999, and thats why that game seemed so brilliant to me (although Zero's identity wasn't that hard to guess.) I'd hate to be spoiled on Good People die..., though if someone does get it in Japanese, a "I just want to know one thing" series of posts would not be frowned upon...

I wasnt spoiled on 999 either (the only plot I knew was from the back of the box and some reviews I read).

I'll probably be getting the game this summer. I'm sure all the details of the plot will be out by then, and I imagine some other user will get it first, but... If you stay spoiler-free and no one else decides to do a "I just want to know one thing" thing, then that's when you can expect it ;D

I don't think the 3DS hacking scene is remotely ready to pull that off. They haven't gotten around region locking, never mind game modification.

Okay, guys, you know how I like to make predictions and stuff? Like I predicted a playable-Gregory case in GK2 and I was 100% sure Resident Evil 6 would be announced at RE's 15th anniversary event? And how I was secretly super-sure GS5 would be announced at the 10th Anniversary Event?
Alright, I'm gonna be really really blunt and risky and predict a localization for Good People Die will be announced on the 2/28 Nintendo Power.
