Speaking of the puzzle missions...

Am I the only one who HATED UtK2's puzzle mission? The one with the circles? I know I did.

You keep thinking, "Oh, this is the last one." BUT IT NEVER COMES Except it does at the fourth try, but by now you're fed up with this waste of an operation.

At least it's humorous. "Let's begin the oper- I mean, yeah." Oh, Derek...

The only reason I can stomach that stupid UtK 2 puzzle is for the lulz. Derek is picked on by everyone every time you take longer, so I just enjoy reading it and going like "aw, derek..." then I feel bad and finish it so he won't be the butt of people's jokes anymore. XD
By the way, I'M TOTALLY NOT OBSESSED, but at school my friends and I have so many TC-related inside jokes it shouldn't even be funny... but it still is. If we're running late to class, we yell "We're running out of time!" If someone has a papercut, we sing "lacerations~" (*cough* if people have seen that one Trauma Center skit *cough*) and if someone yells "Objection!" it's only necessary to yell back "I DISAGREE!" Not to mention that according to my doodles in class, Victor lives in a lamp... if anyone gets why, they get a cookie. <3

Forget sugar, my friends and I use video games to get us hyped up XD Even my little brothers share my fandom (When I'm with my brothers playing Second Opinion, we play the "act as the characters, but horribly warp their voices and twist their words", and with my asian yaoi-loving friend we play the "If you know what I mean" game while we act them out *wink wink*), so I'm surrounded with Trauma Center... fans (Narutards... Gyakutards... what the heck do you call a TC fan? O.o) But yeah, my friends and I are "lawyer-surgeon buddies" BD.............. what was I talking about again?

Oh, so I finally decided to do the puzzle operation again on UtK 2, but I'm wondering if anyone knows *too lazy to figure it out myself*, is the puzzle the same every time you play it? And is it different for every difficulty? *shrugs*
... and the friend I lent my Second Opinion game still isn't past the bomb operation *taps foot impatiently* :/

Just wondering, but does anyone know someplace where I can download the Trauma Center SO music (especially Vulnerability, Savior's Forthcoming, and the opening theme <3) cuz I can't find it D: maybe I'm looking in the wrong places though *shrug*

And I need some help on XSing that one operation...
Spoiler: UtK 2
The one when you operate on Adel cuz he has that African disease where I-- I mean, you pretty much pass the scalpel over all the subcutaneous thingies (something like that <_<), drain them, suture them, and repeat... yeah, I don't remember the operation number and I'm too lazy to check *yawn*. I keep getting an S, but I can't XS it. I usually wait until I have less than a minute left before evoking my Healing Touch, but I'm starting to wonder if getting under a minute left actually takes away from my score... any tips? O.o

EDIT: Never mind... thought I found a nice site with the soundtracks, but they're not there -_-

Playing New Blood in the hospital is the epitome of irony, especially with a ex-trauma care nurse commenting about the operations :P

Awesome, now I can attempt to get better at that stupid operation BD
Oh, so since I tend to be the storyteller on here (muhaha the internet is the best place to share experiences without anyone physically shouting at you to shut up~ 8D) I figure I might as well say that I introduced my cousin to New Blood the other day and now we officially have a new batch of inside jokes. I showed her the scene where...
Spoiler: New Blood <_<
Rousseu catches on fire (whee!) and when Dr. Vaughn says, "That man is on fire!" we had a complete laugh-fest. My cousin then tells me, "You know what would've been better? If he said, 'I think that man is on fire.'" XD ........................ I'm not crazy, I swear *lies through my teeth*

and now I'm going to find that picture of the dude on fire and send it to her so I can make her laugh herself into a coma *muhahahaha*
BY THE WAY, I distinctly remember someone posting that picture of him on fire on an earlier page, but for the life of me, I can't freaking find it. Does anyone know where that picture is/what I'm referring to?

and from scanning over these forums I have realized that... I post too much. *clicks submit a million times* :yogi:

I still can't beat X-3. I've all but given up on it now.

But, as a sort of condolence, I found a Game-Stop nearby with the trial ver. of UtK2 in one of their DS Lites. Awesome, but their "stylus" sucks for operating XD (Screen's too scratchy, too. Hard to use a normal stylus.)

Oooh Trauma Center ^_^

I remember perfectly that I've done 5 X missions on Second Opinion, but the funny thing is that I've done them after 3 months without playing, with only 1 or 3 tries O.o (but with A or B xD).

Shame that I'm always too slow with Paraskevi ._.

Ah well, the next week I'll get New Blood, so I think I'll give up for some time xD

I figured everyone would be talking about Under the Knife 2, which isn't out here yet, but in other news, New Blood was finally released in the UK last week!

I just got my copy today and I have not put it down since. The only reason I'm here instead of on it is because I've got to wait for my Wiimote to finish charging. It ran out during the mission where you cure three patients, one with brachion, the second with Soma and Cheir, and the third with Soma and Onyx.

Spoiler: Story Spoiler
It's the one where you raid the mafia house and retrieve Professor Wilkens.

Actually, that's the mission I'm stuck on now on Normal. I can't switch tools to save my life. I try to reach for the forceps and I either pick the antibiotic gel or the scalpel. It's because I tend to tilt my nunchuk a little to the left and also barely tilting the control stick in that direction. I'm trying to break the habit.

Anyway, it's that mission I'm currently stuck on. If I pick Markus, I have to use the slow-down Healing Touch on Brachion because the fourth section gets too fast when you can't switch tools correctly, which means I can't use it to get a vital-boosting period during Soma+Onyx, which completely owns me. Alternatively, if I use Valerie and save her Healing Touch for Soma+Onyx, I never manage to keep up with the fourth set of branches of Brachion and end up quitting out of frustration.

And which one do I aim for first on the third patient? Soma or Onyx? If I aim for Soma, Onyx keeps making five lacerations and rapidly cutting down vitals while I've got the drain pinned on Soma, and if I aim for Onyx, Soma will secretly lay down those red tumors which explode before I notice them.

I would personally aim for Onyx first. I would recommend trying the operation on easy a few times to get a hang of it better because some multitasking would be required to successfully keep track of it. What I did is keep looking for Onyx, but I would have the volume on fairly loud so I can listen for the sound Soma makes when it releases those puffy red things. I make slicing out the Onyx my first priority, but I quickly find the Soma and laser the lil red sucker before continuing. Besides those red things (if I remember correctly) there's not much damage that Soma can do. After you deal with Onyx, Soma should be simple (though once again, I'd practice a few times because then time management becomes a problem).

...
Also, the friend who (still) has my Second Opinion game is stuck on the bomb mission and she tends to panic by the time it gets to the "shoot the core!" part. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get past this part (on normal)? Cuz I try to explain it to her, but it doesn't seem to help.

It's been a while since I played Second Opinion, so this advice is just from what I remember.
Hopefully she's avoided using the Healing Touch so far, so when she has to shoot the core with the laser, activate the Healing Touch. With the rotating lines of plates going really slowly, you can take it easy. Healing Touch lasts longer than you need to incinerate the core, so if the plates are inching too close to the core, take a little breather while it passes, and then continue shooting. A steady hand is required, so try to relax and not panic.

As far as the Soma/Onyx operation on Professor Wilkens you should deal with Onyx first but drain Soma until there is one small cloud around the core that way while you are working on Onyx you will see the red tumors easier.

Right now I am stuck on the last mission I think in New Blood the last Stigma that you encounter Cardia I do fine right until he does that last fatal trick. You have to activate the healing touch before he does that but I am not good at drawing the star. I heard that there are people who manage to complete the operation without the HT!

I am also near the end of UTK2 and have to save a second patient that has Bythos it is the one where you have to remove the core four times. I haven't got by that one yet.

I like all the fan GUILT ideals they sound really hard! I was just telling a friend how hard it would be if Sige cause burns marks when you clear away the smoke from the bottom screen. You would only have four squares to cut out and transplant skin from the left hand side of the body. Depending on the game mode Easy would have one burn mark, Normal two, and Hard three.

Along with tumors, lacerations and internal bleeding well that my version of a mutant strain of Sige.
