also i have added a link so you guys can see and download my stages theres about 6. and they are good.
I was 17 when I joined this forum. During this time I participated in a thread that made light of sexual assault and event making jokes about it. I didn't think much of it at the time other than portraying a villain. I am older, looking back see how unacceptable & disgusting. I just wanted to add some of the end-match comments.

First 2 matches were me vs. Scorchgid... If I didn't know how to Dodge, I would've lost them fast, lemme tell ya. Scorch, you're one helluva opponent, ese!

The NEXT 2 were Me vs. Scorch vs. Mayhem... The FIRST match was pretty fun, and it ended when I threw a bumper at Scorch, who died after it hit him. We BOTH had 1 life left, too, so it was hectic... except for the lag...

The FOURTH match had MAJOR-FREAKIN'-LAG! I could barely even get the moves I WANTED to get, to work. I would see Mayhem doing something, but the lag on my controller caused me to not eb able to block any move, save a few times when the move was coming from a MILE away... I can only assume that Scorch d/c'ed though, because his player just... left after a few minutes into the match... See, this is where I want to kick X-Play in the face.

Quote: "And the Online is so smooth, there's virtually no lag!"

Me: *tosses a brick*

Anyways though, I'm ACTUALLY here, because I was, BEFORE fighting Scorch and Mayhem, fighting in my Custom Stage, "Brawler's TLS" (Stands for Treadmills, Ladders, and Spikes, a parody of "Tables, Ladders, and Chairs" matches from WWE), with me as Dark Link (I let the Random Function choose the first time), and the CPU was Marth... Epic Matches, totally. I even took a bunch of images when we would use out Final Smashes...I have some nice ones of Dodging, and others that are just... strange... so I'll add them when I can!

It would be really nice if we could have a tournament here but I doubt it would be easy due to the timezone differences. Plus I can imagine there would be some major lag in the matches if the 2 players live in different countries.

Oh well, I recently got wifi again so I can participate in more online matches. So maybe later I will be able to accept some challenges.

OH HOH HOH HOH HOH! OHHHHHH *shudders for 15 seconds*

Anyways... I have my images! I'll post the 4 that are NOT related to my Marth vs. Link duel, first:

Spoiler: MAJOR SPACE SAVER!!!... oh, and story/character spoilers. ¬_¬
Image
ROCKET-BOT!!!

Image
TRIP'D!!!I like this image. Not sure why...

Image
STARING CONTEST!!!

Image
THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN!

I'll post the Marth vs. Link ones later, but I just want to explain these ones that I already posted:

Spoiler: Image Explanations
Image 1: Not much to explain: I used the "Random" function for me, the CPU, and the stage. This stage was actually selected LATER, only the Random chose "Mario" as me, as the only difference. Obviously, I don't have to explain what's happening here...

Image 2: I have NO IDEA WHY, but I really like this image! This was taken in the Great Maze, and on the LAST hit on that particular Fire Primid.

Image 3: Also the Great Maze. Allow me to explain: Samus, my main, just got killed. I spawned as Ike, but the Feyesh started squinting, and it doesn't attack when it squints... Naturally, I walked up to it to kill it, but decided to take one last image before I killed it.

Image 4: Tabuu vs. Fox. Actually, it STARTED as Tabuu vs. Charizard, then Tabuu vs. Samus, then Tabuu vs. Fox. This image was taken RIGHT at the end of the battle... seriously! At the end of the move that is occuring (The infamous 5-hit Kick move), Tabuu is killed! I only had ONE chance to get the perfect shot for this one... I hope I get a Super Mushroom when I play on Very Hard mode... then I can use it with Tabuu's battle... it should make a pretty good image... :gymshoe:

Marth vs. Link images tomorrow! You know, I'll post ONE now, actually:

Spoiler: Space Saver!

You are seriously good Wrestlemania, I'd almost say the best player I've faced online... pity about the bloody lag though! It caused me to lose at least one life in the first game from mis-timing a move and ending up over the end. Then again I think the servers were struggling all day, the majority of my online games yesterday were plagued with lag to an extent.
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

@Scorch: Nice work on the images! I'd love to play against your friend sometime... though another reason for lag could be the whole "England to Canada" distance... *shrugs*

@Mayday: Well technically you DID say that, in that sentence, but I see your point... Just recently, I had learned how to dodge properly (I never liked dodging, admittingly...), so it literally increased my skill level to... probably as high as I would've ever thought possible... Also, I'm becoming more critial of my abilities (In the Luigi's Mansion stage, I managed to do PERFECTLY WELL firing projectile weapons at you and Scorch, but then I thought it was too cheap, so I went to Melee Combat), which might be a positive or a negative... You'd think the lag would be down by now... well, except for the European release, of course. :nick:

Allow me to state the following: I played 2 "20 Lives" matches, one "50 lives, 300%" match, and three "5 Lives" matches for Link vs. Marth... increasing the lives amount overtime, since I wanted the matches to last longer.

Link vs. Marth in a moment.

Ever since the European release, I've been playing the game almost non-stop. I've unlocked all modes, and I've revealed (not unlocked, lots are still in red, only a few blue) a lot of squares in Challenge mode. I will say though that I hate the weapons and guns, (i.e. Laser Sword, Star Rod, Fire Flower, Nintendo Scope) because I can never throw them! Using the Wiimote sideways, I can never successfully press 1+2+either direction at the same time, and I end up performing side smashes while my opponent knocks me off the edge.

I suppose I could use the Nunchuk, I did earlier, but I switched because back then I didn't know how to do Wolf's sexy side taunt. Plus I find jumping easier with the + instead of a control stick.

I finally got this game a week ago, no thanks to me being in the UK. I suck pretty hardcore, but I really like it.
I've only used the Gamecube controller so far, I've found blocking/dodging hard with it :s I haven't bothered to block/dodge in previous Smash Bros games, but this one I need to, especially playing against other people <_<

Still, I'm really enjoying it so far.

I can't use the classic controller at all. I'm the only one of my group of friends who cannot use the classic controller in SSBB. It feels way to awkward and I keep getting the A/B buttons mixed up, which usually leads to my downfall.

In my opinion:

Gamecube > Wiichuk > Wiimote > Classic controller

When I play Brawl, I stick to the Wiimote sideways with a few changes to the controls. I tried it with the Nunchuck but I find it to out of hand at times. I haven't used the classic controller as I don't own one. The Gamecube control is good but isn't as good for me as it used to be for Melee. I guess with a change of games comes a change of controls. :yuusaku:

I...just can't use anything else except the GameCube controller.
After using the GameCube controller for so many years...I just can't change how I play.

On another note, my best character list has taken a RADICAL change. >>

1.Sonic
2.Wolf
3.Ike
4.Ganondorf

Most of my practicing has gone into recovering as Wolf.

I just had my first Friend battle against a Melee player, and it was awesome. I won the three 2-Minute Brawls and he won the 10 Stock battle by far, because I was terrible at recovering with Yoshi, and the rider on Eldin Bridge kept laying his bridge bombs next to the good items.

Also, I've gone back to Wiimote & Nunchuk. I tried playing the Gamecube controller, but I couldn't jump very well and I kept getting the buttons for my attacks and specials confused.

EDIT: I taunt WAY too often.

I hate all items, personally.
I never play with ANY items on, and only play with Smash Balls if I want to give my friends a chance.
I always play on Stock, so no-one can be KO Stealing little bastards.

There is nothing wrong with taunting. As long as it is not at the wrong time.

I like items, it is part of the reason why the game is so fun. It depends on what kind of match it is though. If it is a match that is just meant to be fun, then keep the items on and have fun with it. If it is a serious match, like a one on one duel, then I usually take the items off.

Why get a perfectly good game ruined by someone's sheer luck?
It just really annoys me when someone wins through sheer luck with items, and not skill.

Hmph... On one hand, I agree, and on the other, I disagree...

I find that items can help envoke a lot of strategy on the player, especially items like Magic Wand or Hammer, where they have SPECIAL effects to assist, and cripple, the user (Magic Wand, when thrown, tosses the one who get hits, horizontally, and the Hammer makes the user lose Jumping Ability, Recovery, etc.)... Also, Most Items have the wonderful "Mad Dash" occur, which is a great way to get someone killed due to their carelessness... also, I like Blast Boxes. :gymshoe:

Stock... I seriously don't even CONSIDER Timed Battles to be NEARLY as good as Stocked Ones... with Timed, often times, here's how it goes:

*Kills*
...
*Runs for the remaining minute and a half*

Honestly, it seems like most Brawlers I DON'T know from the CR Forums walked back home from school and forgot to pick up a 2-litre bottle of "Integrity" on the way home... :nick:

Whereas with STOCKED battles, You KNOW they'll have to come at you until the end... and there's an extremely minimal chance of a "Sudden Death" occuring... Which is a bonus!

Again though, some items provide strategy, others can just be annoying, like the Ray Gun.

IF ANYONE HAS A STRATEGY FOR THE RAY GUN OTHER THAN "Shoot the opponent off the stage with the beams" PLEEEEEASE FACE ME!!! :beef:

Anyways, I'll post my Marth vs. Link brawl pics in a bit: I got some more. :gymshoe:

While I can't face you, I can share the few strategies I have used with the Ray Gun on here if you don't mind.

If you see any item that need to be hit to opened (like Party Balls) or actived (like a running bomb), you can shoot it with the Ray Gun. With the right timing, you can break open a thrown barrel before it hits you. Believe it or not, doing this stop you from getting blown up at the worse moments or even better, set up an enemy to be blown up. (Also, it's possible to use the shots to reflect/cancel out some items and projectiles.)

If you face someone who likes to shield and keeps it up a bit, shoot it! It brings down the shield down a bit when means they have to stop using leaving them open to attacks again or have the shield broken. You can guess which most people will choose to do.

In the worse case possible, Grab it and throw it off the stage so that nobody else can use it. Of course, this can leave you open to an attack it's not that much of a draw back.

Hey! I FINALLY got around to posting these!

Spoiler: LINK vs. MARTH!!!
Image
FINISH HIM! (MK Music)*

Image
TOO MANY CAPTIONS!!!

Image
This Platform Ain't big 'nuff for the two of us...

Image
TRIFORCE CHARGE ATTACK!!!

Image
EPIC DODGE!!!**

Image
Marth: Where is he?

Image
EXPLOSIONS OF HELL!!!*

Image
BOOT TO THE CHEST!

Image
Marth: FANGIRLS! STAND BACK!!!

Image
WE'RE SURROUNDED!!!***

Image
Marth: Pshhh! As If!And yes, he was hit anyways.

Image
OWNED!!!

Image
LETS DANCE!!!

Image

GRAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

Image
DECAPITATION!!!

And some explanations!!!

Spoiler: the *'s...
* That Triforce attack was done with the Bomb being held. the REASON why the second image has that same "*" is because in that image, the attack was, in fact, improved from the Bomb, activated on the LAST STRIKE! It looked awesome...

**This was done MANY times... because Marth SUCKS at hitting me with his Final Smash... I think in the "50 vs. 50" match, I hit him with mine... 28 times... he hit me with his... twice, I'd say... Anyways, this image made it look cool, since the TIMING of the Roll was Spot-On... In the later image of "Fangirls! Stand Back!", The Roll was done REALLY Early, and I ended up Standing behind him, waiting for the move to finish... so I took the pic. :gymshoe:

*** Okay, this one was interesting: I was attempting to do the move RIGHT NEXT to Marth and take a pic... This one, was taken by ACCIDENT! However, the moment I paused the game, it looked like the were both in a "Defending" stance, so I took it anyways!!!

And yes, the move still hit Marth. :karma:

And I'll conclude with one last image...

Spoiler: One Last L vs. M image
Image
IT'S F***ING JESUUUUUUUS!!!

... and it's a LuizPrower reference, by the way. Heh...

The ray gun... hmm... yeah shooty shooty, but as stated, I've thrown it to use it to detonate something and reflect back a thrown weapon at me (coming back so quick it hit the thrower and took them off the stage instead!). Mind you with Kirby, I've also used his "BanHammer"TM to knock back items as well if the timing is right (and the lag does not suck!).

Items can be a double edged sword. My brother would like it with less items (he says the same about Mario Kart), I think it keeps people on their toes. Baseball bats are far more effective thrown than staying in hand for example...

Some items are recently made to require more Strategy to use... For example, only an idiot would try breaking a Blast Box while STANDING NEAR IT! However, a character like Samus, or an item like the Fire Flower, could easily make it into a trap.

Baseball Bats require PLENTY of strategy to use like the game intended it to be used: A personal favorite of mine is the Deku Nut/Baseball Bat Strategy:

Toss a Deku Nut at a strong opponent, and it'll make them groggy for approx. 5-10 seconds... sometimes LONGER! During this time, using a Baseball Bat is pretty much foolproof unless you are facing a THIRD opponent or something...

Another good idea for certain matches is using Remote Mines in places no one would expect. For example, planting a mine at the center of the stage is pretty much an obvious move that ANYONE could call... However, if you plant it on, say, the EDGE of a stage, then there's a good chance the enemy will have to trigger it, if they're ever trying to recover...

Of course, 2 items that are SHOCKINGLY not taken as being powerful enough, are Barrels, and Moving Crates... There's actually a neat way to use BOTH: Simply use a Charged-Up Smash Attack on the Barrel, and it will go FLYING up, and whatever direction you were facing, towards the enemy... And yes, it's VERY good to use it this way. I used it a few times like that during my "Link vs. Marth" series! Moving Crates are fun in long levels like the Bridge of Eldin or Final Destination: Use Smash Attacks and play "Hot Potato" with it until someone either misses it, or it explodes into items... or a bomb. It's VERY fun and I highly recommend trying it out!!! Consider it a "Mini-Game" like the Coin Launcher, only less addictive. Heh...

Speaking of the Coin Launcher, here's a neat game to play if you're bored while waiting for the "Black Spheres" to move away: Charge up the coin Launcher, and try to see if you can make coins fall off the stage and into the Abyss off the sides... I find myself doing that a lot lately, since I have ovr 6000 coins... :gymshoe:

Back to the GAME: 2 items that are GREAT to use, but risky, are the Cracker Launcher, and the Super Scope. BOTH are great to use for pros, but EVERYONE seems to make the same mistake once or twice, of jumping off the stage and NOT throwing the item away, while they fall to their death... It's funny, sure, but it's usually done because people are Button-Mashing at that point and PRAYING the scope gets dropped... It doesn't!

Also, I wonder why they took away the Cloaking Device from Melee... I liked that item!!! It made the "Ultimate Goldeen?!?" myth exist! :gymshoe:

Of course, in regards to Items, I'm an opportunist... in fact, I am with Stages as well... This happened earlier: I was fighting againt a Fox user and a Meta-Knight user Online, on the Windwaker Stage (The ship), and it was Me vs. Fox, on the front of the ship. Suddenly, I see the Mini-Catapult rise, and I decide to take a chance: I start using small attacks to pin Fox against the Catapult, and a few seconds later, Fox is launched, and he dies... It's simply using the Terrain to your advantage!

I have a few new images, I'll post them later on.

in terms of the invisibility item not being in the game, it was because the item came from perfect dark (the trophy of it in melee refers to the carrington institue from the game). When melee was released rare had not/only just been sold to microsoft so the inclusion wasn't a problem, but seeing as how Perfect dark now belongs to Microsoft nintendo didn't put it into brawl.

Hmm... You'd think that they would have tried to do ANYTHING to compensate for that... like add Snake's Cloaking Device or something...

Maybe the cloaking device can be use as one of Snake's taunts? That would have been cool.

From that position it looks like Link is trying to summon something. Gotta love random pictures.

I really want to learn how to post my pictures online because I am doing something wrong.
