I love Trauma Center! The thing with Pempti is that you need to sort of focus in the middle and watch for the cores to come out from your peripheral. Or at least that's what I did...

Anyways the lower core has 6 hits but the upper core has 4 so hit the bottom core twice first then switch from the cores.

As well a tip is that Each pempti cores on release 6 mini cores.

Hope that helps!

(well this is only for under the knife 2)

All I can say is that I'm stuck on Bythos. And I wasn't good at Bythos on easy modes too.... STUPID BYTHOS!

My Mom surprised the whole family by buying a Deer hunting game at Cabellas, complete with a Wii Rifle. What better opportunity then to use this Wiimote and Nun-chuck cradle to heal people!

Image

... what? That practically qualifies me to be a horse physician!

Let's begin the operation!

Trauma Center is awesome! It's in my top 5 series':

1. Fire Emblem
2. Ace Attorney
3. Kingdom Hearts
4. Trauma Center
5. The Legend of Zelda

I've only played the first one on the DS, but I don't really like the art style of all the other games, but I'm sure I'll get over that. About the Wii games, are they hard to play compared to the DS versions?

But enough of that, it's time to shamelessly advertise my Trauma Center abridged series!

Okay, update on using the Wii Rifle for playing Trauma Center.

It's at best a mixed bag. On the one hand, shooting the laser, I found, to be significantly more accurate/stable then the wiimote alone.

On the other hand, it's so stable that frantic actions like stitching become large sweeping movements. That and the A button is on top of the wiimote while the B button is the gun's trigger, so it takes two hands to operate the tweezers.

It was fun for a while, but not worth playing the full game with.

Now, Mario Kart Wii on the other hand, that game was totally playable... riding *sniggers* shotgun a la Wiimote + Nun chuck.

True, true. Maybe it's just because I got into the series at thre beginning, and SO wasn't made yet. I just got used to thet art style, but it wasn't very original, so I'm guessing they changed it to make it more original.

You can still place Ace Attorney on your DS without the touchscreen. For the most part. :phoenix:

Yeah, but when you get it fixed and buy the game, don't go in it thinking it's gonna be super easy, I've heard many people say this game is monsterously difficult. The reason I say I heard people say that is because I personally don't think it's that hard!

If you want an easy game, go for the Wii. It has its own difficulty setting to bring you in easily, whereas the DS version starts off OK, gets hard if you don't know what to do, then at some point the difficulty shoots up so much that you need to always keep your hand moving.

QFT. Took me forever to finish the last few operations on UtK 2 but I beat Second Opinion in one night.

Also, have any of you seen the Trauma Team trailer? It sorta looked like a comic-book like thing. And the arrrrt, oh god the art. I can't wait <3

Oh, forgot to mention: did anyone visit the Atlas booth at Anime Expo? They were playing an extended commercial of Trauma Team (not sure if it's up on the internet already) and it has a shot of what the Prisoner looks like without his... human features. He looks just like I expected: a giant, skinny tin can. :yogi:
I thought the comic book layout was a little over-the-top at first, but then I realized that it's Trauma Center, so... yeah. :godot: I'm really looking forward to this game; however, I went back to play New Blood co-op at my friend's house and... we failed at Cardia because I couldn't do the healing touch. *facepalm* I FORGOT AAAAAAHH ;-; though of course I remembered AFTER I failed the operation...

^ I completely forgot how to treat every type of Stigma ever. I haven't played it in... yeah, more than a year.

Then again I haven't played Second Opinion for just as long, but for some reason I remember every GUILT and how to get rid of them.

Also, I recently got UtK 2 back from my friend who borrowed it for like MONTHS because I lost interest for a while therefore didn't care how long she had it, but now I look forward to trying to beat it on Medium. *fails so hard*

I wish I could've seen the Atlus booth. ;_; my friend got me Trauma Team band-aids or SOMETHING like that, lol, she has yet to actually give them to me though.

I've been thinking of trying out this series. Is it true it's sort of like Phoenix Wright? I ask that because some sites list PW under "Games you may like if you like this one" for Trauma Center (and vice versa).

Only as it tells the story, though. The main gameplay are the operations, which aren't like Phoenix Wright at all.

The operation puts you in charge of removing the cause of pain for the patient, by using tools to get into the body, and extract/destroy the source. You'll have to use the right tools at the right time, and any mistakes will make you miss and will damage the patient's vitals. It's a race against time, not just from the timer but also the patient's vitals which continue to drop while the source of pain is still in them. This could either be broken glass shards, tumours or other diseases which get weirder and more difficult to cure as the game goes on.

If you dislike like difficult heart-racing stress games with a passion, this game might not be for you.

On another note, it doesn't look like UTK2 will be appearing overseas any time soon. How long has it been out over there?

I just finished UTK2.
I like the graphic style and music m ore than the original.

Operation theme was awesome, and the Final Operation theme was BEYOND EPIC.

Now I need to go on eBay to get Second Opinion...

Ah, Paraskevi. Well what's your main problem? Do you have trouble killing them in time or does the vitals run out?

Keep the worms paralyzed, and of course keep your vitals up (say around 30, I'm not too sure though) and when they start to run off, you can keep one of the worms on the screen or leave an injury so you can bring your vitals up to 99 before going to the next organ.

Let me know if you need any more help! :godot:
