I can't think of any non-cheesy names. :sadshoe:

Or maybe a dating/fighting sim, where the suitors have to fight for their date! It would be like the dating game mixed with UFC. The girl contestant would be like 'well, bachelor number one just beat the crap out of bachelor number two, and bachelor number 3 was just wheeled out on a stretcher...so I choose bachelor number one!' :edgy:

If I could, I'd redefine rpg gaming since rpgs have become so stale and repetitive for me.

Hell I'd rather just take them back to old turn based things. The Bioware strand of RPG's are becoming less interesting gameplay wise as is Square's series if XIII is anything to go by.

Sadly, I haven't played much old school rpgs. But I kind of want more rpgs like the Earthbound series, I think fantasy fairytale settings with pretty anime characters are cool but like I said before it's become repetitive for me. v_v

I dunno, I rather enjoyed XIII and its battle gameplay.
Finally I don't have to worry about goddamn MP running out in a boss fight. Or set everybody's actions and wait for them to do them .... sounds like X but, really, X was not a good game. Mainly because of the protagonist.

In regards to the topic... well, for Dating Sims like TokiMemo's Girl's Side, I'd add "simple" customization options: Hair length, color and eye color (although later is not seen in any CGs, only in chibi form)
For RPGs ... well, I dislike the majority of clichés so maybe I'd make a random NPC the love interest of the hero. Or get rid of any Mac Guffin that somehow becomes uberly important later on. Just .. get rid of the obvious things.

Like in the Fable series where every adult fall in love with you when you stroke your lute (literally, don't dirty this comment with your own mind) 3 times? Although the concept is funny in its own way I prefer the option to pick your love interest from a select few important candidates (like in date sims)

Although there are very few date sims on the Europese markets or at least 0 in regular retail. The aspect of more interactivity appeals to me. The fighting/date sim seems like an idea I would go for or something like skill based events/minigames instead relying on: click obvious answers = winning.

If I were to create a videogame I would go for a smooth platformer with RPG elements in it. It would feature your basic: get from A to B with obstacles in between (think Super Mario or Super Meat Boy) but with equippable power ups.
The concept would be as following: you have a series of levels that will result in an end-boss like you are used to. In addition to that you can earn points based on the difficulty of the level combined with how fast you completed it. These points will allow you to buy upgrades (like 30 available) and you can set 3 of them to your character ( making various combinations possible). This means each level will get additional replay value, based on how you customize your character. Also as you become more skillful in the game and get better power-ups, you get more points resulting in becoming progressively better even after the end-boss.
Keeping in mind that I'm the one to make this game... this concept shouldn't prove TO difficult to make (super meat boy was made by 2 people!) and be innovating and exciting at the same time.

Llamaful Boyfriend, a spiritual successor to Hatoful Boyfriend, featuring random people I know on the internet as llamas. Yep.

Shifting from pidgeons to llamas would make quite the change... but not how weird the game is and would be I guess.

I had an idea about this. Capcom should release "Servbot Inc.", a next-generation Tron Bonne game that's an epic collection of mini-games of all types and genres, kind of like how Misadventures of Tron Bonne got the ball rolling by being action, adventure, puzzle, shooter, etc. Think Mario Party without the board, or Wario Ware without the time limits.
