apparently, the first video game i played ever--without actually getting anywhere, mind you--was probably a game called myst for the pc which was when i was about three, so, i'm assuming i just wondered around and picked up a piece of paper or something.

Hmmm...... Pokemon Yellow. I loved talking to my Pikachu while I was fishing in Fuchsia City. Pikachu in a BUCKET, man.

First DS game? Bleach: Dark Souls. Speaking of which, I want to play it.
Of course, I have a pokemon game for every handheld system along the Gameboy line that has been made. I have had (or still have) Pokemon Yellow, Red, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, Leaf Green, Diamond, Platinum, HeartGold, PKMN Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness, PKMN Mystery dungeon Red Rescue Team, and the old-school Pokemon TGC for the Gameboy.
Yes, I love pokemon, and I'm a college student. STFU.

The first Pokemon game I ever played:
I remember being at a babysitter's house in elementary school and rooting through the toybox and seeing a pretty pink Gameboy Color at the bottom. In it was Pokemon Red, which I'd never played before. I only owned a N64 and had never seen Pokemon gameplay. I was bored out of my mind so I turn it on and, to my dismay, watch the thing die within five seconds of the ON screen. I put down the Gameboy and continue to look for something to do, since apparently the game wasn't going to work for me. I eventually pull out another Gameboy, and this one was turquoise, with a Pokemon Yellow cartridge sitting in it. I turn that one on, and it works. I was entertained for hours every day after school from that moment on. I don't even think my babysitter knew I found it. xD

God, I miss those controllers.

Nowadays whenever I play Animal Crossing I press X for the menu instead of Y because I play too much Soul Silver on my DS.
And I just suck at Brawl because I do the same move over and over again because I just don't feel like learning combos with all of those buttons. I also don't have the game.

Is it good? Because other than the future Professor Layton and Layton vs Wright games, I don't see very many I'm interested in and therefore feel skeptical about buying a 3DS. But if OoT is mind blowing, then I could very well consider buying one for the nostalgia factor.

And I have it to this day.
