Yeah, you never did like ZE Clover. It's not as much as I wanted, but I don't get the hatred of ZE!Clover. All in all, it was mediocre, which I guess is one of the worst crimes in media after an initial success. Had ZE come first, 999 would've been brilliant.

It does. Just as I still crush on Celine Jules after all these years despite having not played Star Ocean: The Second Story in about a half a year at least.

It's nice. But I still hold myself responsible for my actions: I am looking at a picture of a fictional, attractive woman for my entertainment.

Oh, that's what you mean. I meant VLR. @_@

Also, I have a huge crush on Emmy Altava from Layton. Like, huge. She's super strong, smart, and witty. She seriously needs her own spin-off.

Any fight scene with her, really. <3 Especially the one where she beats up like four guys in an alley, and one of them even has a gun.

With the exception of one character, a male Avatar can marry any female character who joins in the main chapters or the paralogues. The same holds true for a female Avatar, except with male characters instead of female characters. In every playthrough except one, I've married Cordelia. My sister (who decided to play as a male Avatar) prefers Maribelle.

ikr

it took me literally an hour to make my character, because I had to decide between the super-difficult choice of being a dude, or getting to marry Owain at the cost of being a chick (I went with the dude and became Owain's dad tho)

Yeah, I was disappointed in the movie. Not enough Emmy. Emmy is prequel series only, because she wasn't created until then. Still, I'd check it out.

If I haven't mentioned it before? Lei Fang of Dead or Alive. I like her character, despite the retconning done to her character.

I also used to have a huge one on Zero. Then I realized she wasn't female. I still liked the character, but the crush sorta evaporated. >_> Weird, considering I still thought Near was really cute when I learned he is male.

I wasn't disagreeing? I was agreeing. But yeah, the game might've been better from her PoV.

I wasn't saying that you were disagreeing. I was just bringing it up. I don't know about better, but I don't think it would lose that much quality, and that's saying something

And Alice is the absolute worst ZE character. I came around to liking Lotus, Clover has her moments, and Dio, Quark, and the 9th man are pretty boring, but Alice is just horrible. I didn't give a shit about her at all

Honestly, I never thought much of Tharja. The fact that she has what I consider to be a rather disturbing obsession with the Avatar might have something to do with it, but it's also just generally rare for me to develop any interest in a character whose appearance and attire pretty much scream "sex appeal" unless there's a personality I can really grow attached to underneath that appearance.

Aww. That's disappointing. I thought one of the things Fire Emblem apparently touted WAS character development (and really fakey ye olden speak).

Though that character development stuff is why I like Celine Jules so much, past the over sexuality (which is nice, but doesn't provide too much substance by itself).

I reacted pretty much the same way when I was married to Cordelia. I wonder if I should just avoid showing that conversation when I reach that point in my LP. Failing that, I'll probably have to throw in some in-character commentary along the lines of "you might want to run it by my wife first."

genodragon1 wrote:

Tharja is capable of going through some character development, but due to the way the Support system works, said development doesn't carry over to other conversations. For example, if Cordelia marries Stahl, she'll outright say in her S-level conversation with him that she's gotten over her obsession with Chrom, but then she'll still mention "the married man [she's] fallen for" in her B-level support conversation with Henry.

As for antiquated ways of speaking, that's largely restricted to Say'ri.

The "rub my back with oil" thing when i was playing as a male avatar and married to Nowi was very creepy

I reacted pretty much the same way when I was married to Cordelia. I wonder if I should just avoid showing that conversation when I reach that point in my LP. Failing that, I'll probably have to throw in some in-character commentary along the lines of "you might want to run it by my wife first."

Aww. That's disappointing. I thought one of the things Fire Emblem apparently touted WAS character development (and really fakey ye olden speak).

That's just poor game design right there. =I Well, that's sort of the issue with games with private stuff. Like, in Star Ocean: The Second Story, Celine, Precis, Ashton, Bowman, Opera- anyone but the main two go through TONS of character development... which doesn't really seem to carry over into the main plot as well.

Pro tip: don't type in "yaoi" on google. There is a lot of blowjobs there... :beef:

A lot of people use the terms interchangeably, but you may get better results with "shonen-ai". Also, safe search. Safe search is your friend.

My former crush was so hot.... I can't believe why the answer was no.. Probably because I am a terribly sadistic person

I'm still staring at Tharja pictures. I may have to get the game.

Buy it ASAP. With the exception of Bravely Default, it's my favorite 3DS game. If you are straight, there are a lot of sexy women there including Tharja. The biggest reason why I like Tharja is because she is a lesbian if you play as a female Robin

I swear if I met a girl in real life who would dress like Tharja, clothes-wise, I'll be a happy guy. And right now I got no ride there.... and if I were to buy that and 3DS Action Replay PowerSaves Pro, the price is 72.74. o.o

Stick to the game.
