You could of just put that in the 800th post and not make a new one.

Anyway I just start playing and why put a superhero in it? I don't mind much if he was some crappy version of Batman or something but actual super powers? ><.

It been a while since I played a Trauma Center game but

was Naomi name always been pronounced Now-omi? Thought it was Na-omi or it just me having been playing MGS4 beforehand?
Another is who is Little Boy? New in Team or someone I forgot in Center?

I'm guessing you mean "Little Guy". If so, he's the Delphi assistant who worked with Naomi in her side story in Second Opinion.

Almost done, I think. Seventh chapter's a lot longer than I thought it'd be! Anyways, I've started ripping the music, you can find a few tracks at my YouTube channel. Feel free to make requests (just nothing from 7-10 on, at least until I finish the game.)

That's quite a bit! :garyuu: But no problem, I'll get them ripped sometime tonight if I have time. If not, tomorrow.

Oh, and FYI, Little Guy/Delphi Assistant's real name is Navel. Check BoltGSR's YouTube and choose Naomi's Opening. Sorry for free advertising.
Naomi is pronounced: Nai-o-mi.
Spoiler: Chapter 7
Twisted Rosalia pisses me off on Specialist. *mega freak-out*
Rosalia (person) is so damn cute. Although really, she is the equivalent of Adam in this game.

By the way, if anyone's planning to download Gonna Be Here on it's own, and not the rest of the OST, I made some artwork.
Spoiler: Big image

I got a lot of materials from the Trauma Team asset pack which was meant for gaming websites, and was accidentally leaked, so that's how I got the swanky ass logo. Just sayin'.

By the way, one other thing.
Spoiler: Chapter 7
Rosalia's operation theme is FUCKING epic. Beats the shit out of SO -> UTK2.
Twisted Rosalia for me doesn't beat it though for me. :nick:

Oh, and, I may speak for those who want to spoil the rest because they have no life, but I want to see how you do on Chloe Change and Twisted Rosalia, if you don't mind.
I can't beat those on Specialist.

As in Youtube video, please. And before you ask, I do have the game.

W-what!? Really? O.o How is that pronounced? I hope it's like Nah-vel, 'cause that sounds fancy. If it sounds anything like nasal with a v instead of an s, I'm going to kill someone. Little Guy is like my favorite character out of the games, right above CR-SO1 and Emilio, and I DO NOT want his name sounding like crap.

Just beat it. Final operation wasn't that bad, though I imagine it's brutal on Specialist. Also, totally called the final patient and his/her condition. And god damn, that music.

Is it just me, or is it much more difficult to get XS ranks now? I had to do everything perfectly and really damned fast for the first operation to get an XS rank.

By the way, one thing I'm curious about that happened whilst replaying Gabe's 5th chapter.
Spoiler: The Simplest Truth
Who was Gabe talking to through the phone? Naomi Kimishima or Irene Quatro?

Oh, and, here's ya Gonna Be Here lyrics.
Spoiler: Lyrics
When I wake up, bathed in sweat at night and
I cannot tell what's real or where the dreams end
My one savior calls my name and gently
Conquers the storm (conquers the storm)
I know that there's a safe haven, when my prayers are answered
And that breaks the bonds of fears and nightmare
A voice in my heart says that it knows it's all right
It's all right, yeah

But we both realize
Forever will die

I am gonna be here right besides you
I'm the one who will never leave you
I will hold on
Throughout the darkest storm
I am gonna be the one you can count on
I'm the one who will hold on to you
We've got the power
To turn dark to light
I am gonna be the one

When I have you by my side
It feels like I've been blessed
In a way I've never known (yeah)
I feel so alive, I wanna live like this every day
(forever)

But I know it's not forever
And the day could die like sands into a finger
And somewhere the reaper's coming out of Hell, but
It's all right yeah

And if we cannot my friend
We'll see how it ends

I am gonna be here till the end yeah
You and I, till the final minute
I will hold on
Throughout the darkest storm
I am gonna be the one with the faith yeah
I'm the one who will help you stand up
We've got the power
To find a brighter day
I am gonna be the one

I will be the one
For you girl, for you girl
I'll be the one
I'll be the one
I'll be the one

I am gonna be here right besides you
I'm the one who will never leave you
I will hold on
Throughout the darkest storm
I am gonna be the one you can count on
I'm the one who will hold on to you
We've got the power
To turn dark to light
I am gonna be the one

Just you and I
Just come on girl, yeah
Just you and I
We can stand and fight, now
Just you and I now yeah
We can stand and fight now
I am gonna be the one
I am gonna be the one, yeah

Anyway, and luck on finding the OST pieces besides Gonna Be Here?
Spoiler: If you don't know the one in Naomi's walkthrough trailer, spoilers
It plays when CR-S01 and Tomoe are caught in the old ward by Goldman, and when Gabriel flips the fuck out at Jacob Tilman.

Man, I'm exciting for this game, but then again I'm one of many who think of this.

Decided to be dumb and get the computer, and Galaxy, AND Trauma Team. Spent well over $2300 and my account hurts...

But anyways. between my Mom hosting a dog clinic, extra time at the radio station, and setting up my new computer, I've managed to get through most of the game... at the expense of what most people refer to as sleep.

I have to say, Trauma Center really needed Trauma Team. And the Voice Acting is a MAJOR step up from New Blood.

First the various modes

Surgery
Dr. Stiles! The patient's vitals are critical!
Oh wait, wrong game.

CR-S01 is like the main modes in Second Opinion and New Blood. But sans Healing Touch, or GUILT, or STIGMA. To that effect, he feels particularly watered down. Sans healing touch I could deal with, since you play most of the previous games without it most of the time. But his surgery lacked a lot. This appears to be intentional, as to not overwhelm new players who are also learning the other 5 doctor's gameplay. To that effect, it was an important sacrifice. It's also obvious, as he was the first selected character, that he was supposed to act as a transitional vector from Trauma Center to Trauma Team for the old fans. But I find it hard not to get an S in any of his levels. Color me understandably disappointed.

Paramedic

On the other hand, playing first response with Torres is a lot of fun. Which I was surprised considering how few tools she has. So many patients on the line, so little time. It's like the save the series of patients mode in Trauma Center, except, on sugar. She also has a ton more tools. The one thing I have trouble with is setting bones. But at the same time, I'm glad I have that difficulty. I just inject that guy, and deal with the other patients. People who need bones set tend to sit still and not bleed to death.

Diagnostics

Not the best mode, not the worst. Jack of all Trades master of none perhaps? RONI's funny, and reminds me of Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation. When I was preforming this segment of gameplay, my Mom, who doesn't touch videogames, was able to identify most of the terms and rule out various conditions before I had done my calculations. I'd been trying to solve the cases by counting how many symptoms I had collected, and comparing that number to the amount of potential symptoms. I'd cross off anything that had less then the number collected, and rule off anything abnormally over. She called a few conditions off the bat.

Endoscopy

Not my favorite mode, if only because I'm not a fan of first person gameplay. Navigating via shoving the Wiimote back and forth, while annoying, was appropriate considering the nature of endoscopy. My problem with it was that it was mostly just tedious. But the programmers obviously tried to change it up a bit with the various sites. I'm not sure what I could've done if I had to fix it. Navigating is difficult, so the twitchy gameplay you get in the other surgeons' mode would actually make it worse. Plus it'd be very easy to get punished simply for approaching a problem at the wrong angle. With those limitations in mind, the programmers did the best they could, and tried to adjust by maxing out the tools Tachibana could use in gameplay.

Orthopedics

Seemed less like surgery, and more like a series of puzzles with a time limit. In the begining of the game, I couldn't help make the connection between Captain Falcon, and Captain Eagle's 'race' around Tumors and other items that need to be cut. It's good mode. I personally don't like it much, but it adds a whole lot to gameplay and covers another fascinating aspect to medicine.

Forensics

By far my favorite mode. I honestly didn't recognize Naomi until I read that it was she that was the returning character. Solving Mysteries is so very much AA like. And yet, it's nothing like that at all. The AA series operates by throwing as many contradictions at you as possible. Often it's a complete surprise when something can be taken at face value. Additionally, the series places an emphasis on Testimony and finding how who done it how. Forensics takes the angle of face value evidence-ites. Pieces of evidence that are useless on their own but help to draw out the greater evidence. Little Guy (forget his name) is surprisingly useful as an aid. The story is also the strongest in Forensics. But rather then slapstick humor and life or death gambits, forensics takes on a morbid, logical tune. Honestly, I don't think I've sat through events that were simultaneously so heart warming and gut wrenching. I hope we see more of Naomi in the future of the series. She was HAX in Second Opinion, admittedly. But she has a great voice, great gameplay, and great personality.

Oh, and Wooster, that little review you did right there was PERFECT. XD That was exactly my opinion all the way through. But the only difference is I found endoscopy SOMEWHAT enjoyable, but once I reached stages like when the patient has gas or something and blows the endoscope back, where it's like a freakin' labyrinth in the mission with Tomoe's father, and the one where you had to search for bodies *shudders* those were just horrible. Constantly bumping into walls, getting lost in a human body, and seeing all those twitching limbs and hearing all those groans was just TORTURE.

Gfgudgdgghtyjdf!!!DX Augh, I knew there would be some kind of contradiction in meh fic, but I didn`t think it would happen so soon. I`ll either fix it tonight when I steal my dad`s laptop or when I get home. Oh, and I wasn`t trying to steal the artwork or anything, it just takes hours for me to draw something and I thought that picture was fitting {other than the fact that they`re smiling like it was a good thing or something}.

Btw, typing up a wall of text like I always do is a bitch on the DSi.

Aw, so no GUILT/Stigma or any little space alien things like that? I've heard a lot about this Rosalia virus and it intrigues me =D
Is the surgery just the routine car-crash, bullets, burns, tumours, aneurysms and transplants operations then? (Wow, that was a weird sentence.)

*feels stupid for spending ages downloading every song from Trauma Team separately from youtube because I just HAD to listen to the ending last*

The diagnostics guy reminds me of House. A little. Maybe.

Well... there is the Rosalia Virus...
Spoiler: Rosalia Virus
But it's more like an infection or a rash then something, say like Kiriaki, Triti or one of the GUILT or Stigma. It's Stationary. Covers a good portion of the visible area.
It's 'kinda' like Pempti, in Victor's Research Phase, but no where near as aggressive or complicated.

Spoiler: Surgery
You're on the right track, but no bullets, or transplants. Or at least, I haven't run into any yet. But the game's almost over for me, there's very little time to do anything like that. Burns are less complicated then in New Blood. Actually, Surgery brings only a couple of minor additions to the table in Trauma Team. This may actually be a good thing, as it implies that there will be more Trauma Center games.

I didn't enjoy Trauma Team for the Surgery as I did in the other games, but, the new modes are quite delectable. The best ones in my view are Paramedics, Forensics, and Diagnostics. Surgery is still 'good' if not up to par. Endoscopy is growing on me, slowly. And Orthopedics arguably is the most interesting when it comes to battling the Rosalia Virus. At least then you get a semi moving target.

I still find it incredibly odd that you don't disinfect when beginning Orthopedic surgery.

Haha, I put a smile on my face after getting Trauma Team 10 minutes before the mall's closing time. Am I ever glad I got this.

So far I only had time to play the first operations in all fields, and oh my goodness, the forensics part was very fun. Sure it was quite long, but very worth it. I'd get excited every time I got a gold card, or point things out and then 10 seconds later the voice acting would say the same thing as me.

Diagnosis was also a lot of fun, I felt Endoscopy had a nice way to add new gameplay, First Response was a lot of fun, Surgery is still good and Orthopedics was quite enjoyable as well, also the first "S" I got. =P

For those wondering, you can get all the music I put up on my channel (plus two unused tracks) at http://www.mediafire.com/?zwggmjznzmi if you want it.

XS ranks are really hard to get in Surgery, First Response, and Orthopedics. They don't seem quite so bad on Endoscopy though, I was trying for the "don't let [spoiler patient] hemorrhage more than nine times" medal and got an XS rank, even though I wasn't trying for one.

Though... I am not even going to try "Resolution" anytime soon. Screw that level.

Ah, yes I checked your channel. Thanks by the way.

Just played some more of Trauma Team, a bit stuck on the Diagnosis, and can't find any other things on the CT exams...

Well, surgery tomorrow, and I have to be at the hospital by 9.
I think it's safe to say goodbye for now.

Bring some good news when I come back.

Tell the doctors not to drop the needle if they're doing any suturing.

Slowly working on XS ranks. I like the fact that most of the operations have different dialogue on the results screen depending on the rank you got. Especially good is "Time for Rejoicing" - CR-S01 just gets more and more in awe of Tomoe the better you do.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I got a C in one of the Endoscopy operations, and the comments were something like, "Um, I thought you were a better doctor." Pretty interesting how it is different.

EDIT: Oh, and a question to all the people who beat the game. About how many operations are there for each doctor?

SO I just wanted to stop by and gush about Trauma Team. I reserved it and everything, and it took me about a week to beat it thanks to schoolwork. GAAAH that game was amazing. The new characters, the story, Little Guy, ninjas, captain falcon's long-lost cousin, Little Guy, chilling forensics cases, amazing new types of operations, almost no timed missions, and did I mention Little Guy?

I LOVED forensics. It was very Phoenix Wright-like with the cards and crime scenes, but in a way it's completely different because of the atmosphere. PW makes the murder... lighter, in a sense. This game capitalizes on the horror and logic of the murder, with only a few small amusing things here and there to provide comedic relief. However, there is the hilarity of the bogus fourth option.
Q: "BLAHBLAH why was he a drug dealer BLAH?"
A: "THAT'S HOW HE ROLLS."
This game made NaomixLittleGuy my OTP <3 And in the first scene, Little Guy says he's Special Agent Navel, supposedly. I think this means that Navel's his last name, so we don't know what his first name is yet.
Surgery was okay; it had the same things, but it's easy to get an S (though I hate the suturing guideline... I just put squiggles, but the game hates me and gives me goods and bads only). I'm glad they kept it, though; CR-S01 is so adorably anti-social <3
Hank's surgeries were pretty fun, especially with the music getting more intense as your chain went up.
Diagnosing was also surprisingly interesting; I learned a lot about the process through the charts and scans, not to mention all the giggles I got from the banter between Gabe and RONI.
First Response is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I really love the quick pace and the way I have to juggle several patients at a time. Also, it arguable has some of the best music of the game (not counting the amazing ending theme that I've listened to 20+ times)
Endoscopy... *sigh*. It's... tolerable. I like the concept and I got used to the tools after a while, but moving the Wii remote through the intestine is horribly tiring on the arms, especially the later ones. Also, when someone's in the hospital, the person they meet is Tomoe, instead of their family or friends or someone who would help move the plot or help the character with problems BUT NO, HERE, HAVE TOMOE *wallbanger* ...I have issues.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game, and I definitely recommend it, but I have to say, the next game better be a direct sequel, because I felt that a lot of the sideplots remained completely unsolved. D8

WHO THE HELL IS LITTLE GUY AND WHY IS EVERYONE FANGIRLING OVER HIM

I'm hoping to get it for my birthday in 12 days, but my Wii is busted so I'll have to play it at my friend's...
Is there a co-op mode? From what I've seen, most of the modes don't seem to lend themselves to co-op very well, but I guess they managed co-op surgery so it might be possible.

Also, is it better to work through the professions one at a time or play them all together? Does the story link up at the end, not counting the last chapter?

I feel like I'm asking too many questions... maybe I should just shut up and be patient =P

Yeah, like Captain Falcon Eagle, He was present a lot here and there, but never built up to anything.

Also, was the Wii Chanel theme in any of the rips anyone posted? I kinda liked that piano.

Spoiler: Music
I kinda liked the remix of Savato-X. Unexpected, but nice.

Spoiler: Final Boss
I was a bit disappointed. The first three rounds were like, using surgery to stop a flower from pollenating. And then the final was clearly an abortion, and way too easy.

I felt double awkward. Final Boss being easier then Kiriaki the first time. And the moral implications of preforming an abortion. Granted, the abortion was on an abomination that had moved in on her heart, but the parallel was too strong for me to not make.

He's the sexy beast in my avi. He was the nameless delphi assistance in SO, and he somehow snuck into the government afterwards and kinda became Naomi's assistant in Forensics mode. He's just adorable with his crush on Naomi and his guitar and paparazzi [damn spelling] obsession. =D
