It definitely sounds like a game that I would enjoy a lot. I'll get the first game as a test to see if I like it.

Sure, I'm fascinated in the Lore even if the reality is terrifying so I like all the little diaries you get around the place. Though the walking and running speed of the protagonists is actually abominable.

I'm afraid I can't say, I've only seen lets plays. Like I said I'm horrified by J-horror but I'm fascinated by the lore.

Yeah last night I brought it on PSN. I enjoyed the eerie black and white atmosphere in the beginning which made it more creepy.

XD More to represent the past in that point.

Though regarding black and white....word to the wise, in my experience when the world goes grey like that, often means there's ghosts that will instant kill you around.

No it wasn't a instant kill ghost. This ghost was very agile and caught me three times before I died, plus its hard to run away from it.

Alright it's really simple
Spoiler: The Last of Us ending
Joel is selfish and weak for what he did at the end, he couldn't bear to let Ellie go and fulfil her own dream invalidating the entire point of the journey and everything they'd sacrificed along the way. Marlene was right about it only being a matter of time before something horrible happens (hell I died enough in the story after all).

I might even be able to take it if he didn't tell such a barefaced lie at the end about it, Ellie deserved to know what happened, she deserved to make her own decision but Joel was too selfish and afraid to let her. Then when she asks him directly about it, he lies further.

So at somepoint down the road the Fireflies will eventually find them or hunt them and she'll be recaptured, the truth will be explained and she'll hate Joel for what he did. Or worse, he starts killing everyone who comes near wantonly in fear they might be Fireflies and expose the truth leading her to think him even more of a monster until she just leaves him of her own accord.

Apollo's Objection theme IS fantastic I think.

Without executive meddling, I'm sure Apollo Justice could've been the strongest entry in the franchise, and the start of something new. As it is now, it feels like two rushed games mashed into one, but the first and final cases are still phenomenal, as is the mystery behind Phoenix's disbarment.

Solution? Have Nintendo buy Capcom and give Mr. Takumi the space he needs and deserves.

^ This.

To clarify more, Apollo Justice wasn't even supposed to have Phoenix IN IT, but Capcom pretty much shoe-horned him in, and while I'm not going to complain about the finished product, it could've been a LOT better. I don't get why people say Apollo was a Phoenix clone in that game though, I always thought he was the strongest character in the game (As he should be considering we're playing as him a good 90% of the time), and in the first case he DECKS Phoenix after the forged evidence thing, which was one of his defining moments, it's a shame he had to become the Butt Monkey for the Defense Lawyers (Phoenix also holds this title but Apollo certainly has a better claim for it)

Whenever I hear Fatal Frame, I think it's a fighting game...

As for AJ, it's a good game... on its own. Trying to make it really stick to the Phoenix games is a bit... well, then it's weak. Sure, Apollo holds the idiot ball but... well, any protagonist that the player controls in any game has his idiotic moments. (Even Edgey in GK)

I think AJ is good. Not great. And it could've set up the next games to be really great with the Jury system but... well, y'all got Dual Destinies. Which just says "Jury System? Uhhhhhh... never happened. Don't ask questions!" I've said it before, with the Jury system, they could've made the games and trials really interesting.

I must be one of few people who thinks that AJ was a better game for having Phoenix in it. I actually don't really see how Takumi could've been forced to include Phoenix into the plot because he's so essential to it. The best cases in the game are the ones about Phoenix. Anyway, I think it could've been a much better game if it wasn't rushed. I like it better than Justice for All, Trials and Tribulations, and Dual Destinies. The first and fourth cases are incredible (though the last trial segment in the fourth and the shoehorned explanation about the paintings old it back) and to be honest, I always thought the second one was kind of underrated. AJ is the kind of game I like more the more I revisit it

50% of what you said is why I love the ending
Spoiler: The Last of Us Ending
Ellie might be the heart and soul of the game, but Joel is the star character. He's probably my favorite of all time when it comes to video games and it's due to the fact that he feels painfully real. He's not a hero, he's not an anti-hero, and he's not really a villain. He's just a person; a father who's had the world rip too much away from him and can't afford to lose more.

Was Joel selfish? Incredibly, but this is what him feel so real that it hurt. Was he weak? Hell, no. I think most people wouldn't sacrifice their daughter for the good of humanity. I think their relationship was developed enough for the sacrifice to feel earned. Plus, keep in mind that the game has also explored humanity. You fight infected as much as you fight people. Joel realized humanity wasn't worth saving. Sure, Ellies exist, but so do a lot Davids. They didn't deserve a cure

The lie was a shitty thing for Joel to do, but I can understand his actions. He didn't want to lose Ellie again. Ellie knows that he lied to her but she doesn't care because she knows that Joel cares about her now (what she wanted in the cabin). She'll never realize the full extent of what Joel did (murdering a lot of fireflies, killing the only brain surgeon in the world, and killing her foster mother) but at the moment both of them are happy. I thought it was kind of touching

And I don't think the fireflies will be much of a threat to them. Joel really dismantled them

It's a J-horror game. It has to do with a haunted place in Japan that in lore is said to have hosted some sort of ritual called the "strangling ritual"

The main character is in search of her brother who went to investigate the manor but never returned. Your armed with a special camera that can fend of ghosts and exorcise them. Has a lot of moments that will scare the crap out of you since it's unexpected.

So far the camera part isn't explained why it's there but only how it works.

You basically fend off ghosts with it by snapping pictures of them.
