Shitty childhood memories do make your shitty childhood game better than a shitty modern game, Jesus Christ...

None of the games you loved as a kid hold up by modern standards.(Unless you're me, because the games I played as kid were actually amazing, unsurpassable works of art)

Shitty current live does make your shitty current game better than a shitty retro game, fucking Goddamn...

None of the games you love as an adult (or a kid) can match my love of great games (which are worth more than your shit-sucker of a life anyway)

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns.

I don't know how they did it, but they somehow made it take longer to make wrestler edits than the GBA versions. Ring Edit is the coolest thing ever, though.

yeah, but I don't think you can say super mario 64 was a shitty game. hell its one of the best platformers ever created.

As for this argument between the two of you, its like being in the special olympics, no matter who wins you're both still retarded. (although I'm gonna more or less agree with gears for the most part, excluding the n64 mario comment, because I too prefer 64 over galaxy, not because galaxy sucks, its a great game, I just prefer mario 64.)

Well Mario 64 wasn't the best, I can understand how the Mario fanboys were amazed at seeing Mario in 3D for the first time. Now everywhere I go I hear "It's one of the greatest of all time" or "It's the greatest".

My last post on what I'm playing now still stands.

Re: What are you playing now?Topic%20Title

It's sad that most of the 'greatest games of all game' are only considered so because of nostalgia, and little kids creaming themselves over seeing 3D for the first time.

I was 16 when I first played Mario 64... and of course if you compare it to what has come out since then its gonna be dated, that happens with just about every video game. If they updated it with modern graphics, make it harder, add a few levels, you'd have a real gem right there. (And I'm no mario-fanboy. There are plenty of Mario games that I think sucked. Look at most of the mario party games, and then theres that new "mario and sonic: special olympics" game {as if we needed more fanboy bait thrown into one title} I haven't even bothered playing that because it doesn't take much to know how bad it is.)

Anyway, my above post about mario 64, I do admit I went alittle bit over board, but I still do prefer it to galaxy. A big part of my personal preference is, I'm still getting used to playing galaxy without getting alittle dizzy, I also kinda liked running and punching rather than shooting star bits, jumping and spinning to kill my enemies. Still, either way, both games are both pretty good.

Anyway, lets drop personal preferences aside, and get back to the point of the topic.

So when I got back from work the other night, my room-mate/co-worker and I cracked out Killer 7 again and took turns playing, just got to the cinematic where the guy's family is killed and he's shown his daughter's head, and then he's killed. I always considered that to be one of the more disturbing parts in the game. (Anyone know when No More Heroes comes out? That looks great.)

We might do Okami again next, but we might wait for the Wii version to come out.

Oh and there will be cake. :karma:

Some Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and purposely messing up on the last stage. Watching the almighty Ouendan blunder like that is quite hilarious IMO.

And, I swear, never in my life have I tapped 7 50s in a row on Ready Stead Go on the Insane difficulty. XD Some day I should go for an All 100/50 run. Screw All 300 runs. Those are boring, exhausting, and tedious.

Sheesh, don't vent your anger and hatred out on me. That's what walls and floors are for. Or, you could kick a puppy.

P.S. Actually, I've pulled off quite a few All 300s and my fingers are quite bony. It's my shaky hand which fucks me up.

The very first one, that came out first. Not the prequel.
