Yes, I know, these games are legendary for how great they are. As much as I hate to admit it... This is the best in the serie- *looks confused* Huh? Where am I? Why are you looking at me like that?

*posessed again* Oh look, it is our lord and saviour, Link, the Best Hero of Heroic Heroes Doing Heroic Stuff, so yeah. Buy his games. The others are overrated because people don't understand Link, they say the face you showed was ugly, but they're wrong... *kisses CD-i console* I only need you to be happy. *back to normal* Oh Jesus Christ! After completing the dungeon where the Wind Elemental was supposed to be but not there at Minish Cap; they leave you (Link) alone for a long time......

I don't know what to do next. All I now got is some "riddle" to "solve".

Am at the end of Undertale. I've been trying to do the Pacifist route, and am at what I think is the final boss.
I... I just can't.... I'm too emotional from everything that's happened.... PLEASE don't make me do this!
I'll just try to do some side quests until I'm ready.

That alone makes it sound like the final boss (in your route) is your best friend who is evil or a beloved who is brainwashed. Unless the pacifist route makes you realize that you are the evil guy.

I finally got through the second area in Riviera and got Cierra into my party. I kinda want her ending now.

Tokimeki Memorial, one of the first non-H dating sims and possibly the most iconic game of the entire genre. For some reason, it's never received an official English release or even (to my knowledge) a full English translation patch. Won't stop me from powering through on the PSP version, though; thank god for region-free systems.

Apparently, Saki likes you if you ignore her. From what I read. I can't remember how I got her before... (Only thing I miss in my Super Nintendo version of the game is Nozomi with longer hair) though TokiMemo is on PSP? I know that Girl's Side 3rd Story Premium and 4 are on the PSP.

Pretty sure none of the girls like you if you ignore them... Saki's into perseverance. And you can still get Nozomi to grow her hair out if you don't ask her out for the last couple months.

And yep, it was ported for the 10th anniversary. Thankfully it gives you four different visual settings, because the original PS1 graphics look terrible stretched out on a PSP screen.

I know. I remember she liked perseverance, but people like to say she likes you ignoring her (cause you tend to meet her when wooing other girls). And yeah, I think I had a save during February or so when I went for Nozomi, so I had/have no way of getting her long hair picture, unless I do an entire new playthrough.

Neat.

(Without spoiling the game) When you know the final boss' relationship to the other characters, you can't bring yourself to face them. Sparing and befriending everyone in the Pacifist route just makes it all feel harder (I was sucked in playing for solid hours, so seeing that ending scene before the boss was so depressing....)

Blazblue Chronophantasma.

Man the story in this one is sloowww...

They've adopted the P4U2 mode of storytelling it looks like. One main story that you flit about different perspectives for. It's cool and it tells a more cohesive story but man...I must have had like 2 fights in over 2 hours of story. That's worse than P4U2 ever was.

On the plus side, Overdrives seem cool. It's nice to be able to activate BA-BA-BA-BANG mode anytime I want.

If you play fighting games you can expect the story mode to be a bit lacking. At least Blazblue and Guilty Gear are at least trying because I can tell you now that the story for StreetFighter 5 will be a complete waste of time.

I've been switching from Smash to Streetfighter 4 on steam. Although my instincts and reactions are rusty it's very satisfying to know that most Vega (claw) combos are still ingrained in my muscle memory, so it's not completely hopeless.

See, this is why I never did manage to get into BlazBlue or Persona 4's Arena battles. (Even if the former has Imai Asami singing one of the openings, which is awesome, and the latter has motherfreaking FUMIHIKO TACHIKI as the Announcer's voice)

If I go into a fighting game, I EXPECT a simply presented story. I want them to be able to present it visually, not force me to read a goddamn book. If I wanted to read a book or play a visual novel, I would do that and not play a fighting game. And being forced to simplify your story by opting for visual representation doesn't mean that your story has to suck or be incomprehensible. Dead or Alive manages well in having a good story, but presented in a rather simple way. (Though 5's story was presented differently from the previous games, which were more each character having a route and one 'canon' route)

I will say, a story that basically has you see it develop from different characters sounds interesting... but only if it's done 'correctly'.

I continued in Live A Live, by playing through the Caveman part again. I originally intended to record my battle against the King Mammoth (bonus boss in that area) for my LP, but that motherfudger is such a fucking annoyance, I decided to not to and just freaking cheat him to death. Fuck you, Square, you are not Atlus, nor were you in 1994 when you made this.

True, Blazblue was originally designed as an RPG venture I heard which explains the heavy story and it IS one of the draws to it.
Just feel it's unbalanced and longer gaps between fights than P4A had.

Raising your stats high enough to impress Shiori isn't that difficult if you spend all your days off for the first year working on them rather than dating; she'll start liking you more even if you aren't asking her out. The problem is the unwanted harem you gather by doing so; having nearly a dozen girls interested in you means you have to keep them all happy or they'll destroy your reputation, and even if they don't, you lose all your free time placating them. The best way to avoid that is to avoid meeting as many extra girls as you can. With the exceptions of Yumi (automatically introduced at the beginning of the second year) and Megumi (Shiori introduces you at one of Rei's Christmas parties), you only meet the other girls if you raise their associated stat during a school day or if you join their club. So if you only raise certain stats at times when school isn't in session, you'll never meet those girls. Clearly you can't avoid all the girls doing that, but six to eight girls is much more manageable than eleven.

Nothing wrong with dating and romance. It's just that the dating scene feels like one big shitty meat market. I think I'd rather just hang out with people without any kind of pressure or societal expectation.

I've been playing a lot of Europa Universalis IV lately. Another playthrough as Russia. It's currently the mid-1600s. Under my control, Russia has expanded all the way to Alaska and also has colonies in Taiwan and the Philippines. Most of Finland, Ukraine, and Belarus are under Russian control, as is the port city of Gdańsk. A war with the Ottoman Empire went poorly for my troops, but thankfully, my allies were better-equipped and able to win the battles while my troops helped out with sieges and occupation. I'm not quite satisfied with my situation in Europe just yet, though. Gdańsk has no land connection to the rest of my empire, the Livonian Order controls much of the Baltic coast, and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (never mind that they no longer control any Lithuanian lands) and Ottoman Empire still both control lands that I feel would look nicer with my flag flying over them. I think Pomerania and Brandenburg also have some territories I'd like. I'd have to consult the map to be sure, though.

Just finished the prologue missions to Legacy of the Void. I'd preordered the standard physical copy hoping to get beta access and wasn't planning on getting the prologue missions until the actual release (November, which I figure, hell, I can wait a month). Then Blizzard runs their weekly patch updates, which includes a Starcraft II portion... and lo and behold, prologue missions detected! Didn't warp in any phoenixes ( :nick-sweat: !) but my third mission was full of stalkers ( :wendy: ?)
