I'm watching Krillin play it. It makes me think of Portal, only weirder. Though, since this is made by the guys who made Amnesia, I have expectations from it. They are doing a good job at making the atmosphere creepy.

I wouldn't call it spooky. And it's not scary. It's... unsettling, I guess.

Back on topic, I'm goin back to playing Catherine. I still have to finish my current playthrough for the Cheater routes. I forget where I stopped... I do know I stopped playing, cause I was sick and tired of the first level of Babel and "New Record. New Record. New Record"-SHUT UP!!

Wait... maybe I stopped cause I stopped the plot advancement to play the Rapunzel minigame... I DON'T WANNA! :larry:

Somebody should start talking again in the metal gear topic because I was the last one to post in it so I can't revive it myself!

I haven't gotten to play it yet but was spoiled on the end and I want to hear what people think! (Someone here has to have beaten it, right?)

I'm playing T&T on the Trilogy for 3DS now, and I'm in the middle of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast but I haven't gone back to it in a while.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

I restarted Catherine. I was wondering if I should just continue with my attempt at getting the Cheater endings - giving me 3 endings in total (2 Cath, 1 Kath) - or just attempt the True Freedom ending. I'm going for the latter and, while I'm only on Night 4 in the bar, I seem to be pretty spot on in the gray area.

I severely hope the guide I'm using to answer the sheep during the landing sections is correct. I already noticed that they didn't seem to say what the guide said when they should have, so either the guide is wrong or the translation was so off... Cause I have yet to manage to keep everyone alive. Usually, Todd is the one that dies. And that means I can't save Archie, either. Freaking tethered together, those two.

Finally finished Apollo Justice's third case. Still as bad as I remember. They really wanted to push that "cutscene" of the performance. And it's alright, just not after seeing it about 50 times.

And now it's time for the final case. Good grief. Only thing I'm looking forward to is the flashback case. Excluding Zak "Nobhead" Gramarye.

Apollo Justice really fluctuates when it comes to the quality of the cases. It has, in my opinion, the best tutorial case. But then, the worst filler and final cases.

I'm playing 2 really fun Mario fan games, one is Mari0 which is pretty popular, but it's essentially Mario with a Portal Gun from well... Portal.
And Psycho Waluigi which is just... You play as Waluigi with psychic powers, how could you NOT like it?
Plus I purchased Undertale earlier today, and I'm a sucker for RPGs, so when I finish those other two games, I'll start it right away.

I am playing Tales of the Abyss again. Since I recently wrote a review and have been thinking about the game, listening to its music, I decided to start again. My latest file was one at the Absorb Gate and the other at the discussion about the Planet Storm. Unfortunately, it's been years since I played that file, so I honestly do not know what I did in terms of sidequests... I recall having to redo a file cause I did the first, long annoying part of the Cecille & Frings sidequest, but forgot to do the second parts before meeting up with Jade again... and it takes so long to do the last part and get the costume, and that file wasn't at that part yet.

So I just restarted. Annoying that I have to listen to Tear and, yeah, Luke is annoying but I like his jerk attitude. Also, he has a good reason to be a jerk.

Okay, I'd say keep going. You don't miss out on too much, just a few nods and a better understanding of some things. Like some reveals. But most of the previous game knowledge which help with reveals are told through the files... Most of them.

I'm playing the visual novel/dating sim Nicole. I don't know anything about the game, except that the Bad End occurs if you don't end up romancing any guy. Up to now, it's a mix of fun and slight suspense. And I really, really wish I could just punt Kurt through a window - I hate wannabe-macho guys.

It's 1791 in my playthrough of Europa Universalis IV. Russia has established colonies in the Philippines, Alaska, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Canada. Spain dominates the New World, especially after their personal union with France culminated in the two countries merging. Spain has been my rival for almost a century, but for a long time, we never went to war. All that changed in 1788. I chose to support the independence of a former French colony that didn't enjoy being a subject of the Spanish crown. When Florida rebelled, Russia and Austria joined the fight.

I had seen this war coming, and had Florida not presented be with an opportunity, I would have attacked California, as they had recently attacked Alyaska (Russian for "Alaska," as if that wasn't obvious). I had also moved the Baltic Fleet to Sevastopol in preparation for the inevitable naval confrontation with Spain. The weather on my end provides a rather appropriate atmosphere; it's pouring rain and I've seen the occasional flash of lightning.

Spain's colonial subjects were utterly unprepared for an army of 60,000 Russians marching down the Pacific coast. What little resistance was put up proved inconsequential; California is almost completely under Russian occupation. Despite some initial difficulties in Canada, things are finally turning around there, too. Mexico's decision to rebel further complicated Spain's situation in the New World.

The real fight is in Europe, though. Spain might be fighting to keep Florida and Mexico under their control, but they're not going to be willing to agree to peace unless the home front turns sour. That's where my main force and my Austrian allies come in. Austria held the line while my navy established control of the Mediterranean Sea. Now my own army has arrived in eastern France and has begun pushing the Spanish back. I think this is no longer a question of whether I will win, but when I will win. This victory over Spain will confirm Russian supremacy.

Frankly, I find it quite remarkable that that can even be done. I haven't conquered the world as anyone, much less the Ryukyu Islands.

Also... it's now 1793. The war is over. Florida and Mexico are independent. Time to get to work paying off those debts. War is expensive.
