Hm. I absolutely hate Trace Memory. The grapics lack, the gameplay sucks, and the music reaks.

I would have to say the CD-i Zelda games, not only because its just plain horrible but also because its an absolute shame to one of the best video game franchise ever.

Sprung for DS. The sprites and all are kind of like PW but if you leave it for a while then they revert to their default sprites. That and the fact that there are about 3 paths through each level, but if you fail thats it. GAME OVER.

Another game I am particularly dissapointed in: Rainbow Six: Lockdown. Bastardized Rainbow Six in every way. AI sucked (for both teammates and enemies. I ended up getting a majority of the kills), multiplayer felt too arcade like and most of the soundtrack for the game blew ass (except for the Rainbow Six Theme). Critical Hour was even worse. That game felt as though it could have been a patch for Lockdown, since all it was was a few new single player maps (which all appeared in past Rainbow Six games, in bastardized lockdown format.)

Also: True Crime: New York City. A game which tries to be Grand Theft Auto. It isn't. I bought this along with Critical Hour. Worse Xbox purchase combo I ever made...

Digimon World 4 in my book. There was no plot, only 5 levels, and you couldn't digivolve into anything good. The movie was great but this sucked.

Halo 2 - It just wasn't as good as the first Halo, and the multiplayer was wasn't as endearing.

Metroid Prime: Hunters - Decent multiplayer, but repetitive single-player. Didn't feel like Metroid.

Now, I know I may seem biased because I'm a huge Mario fanboy, but that's not it. Super Paper Mario is just fun. I've rated it 9/10 just because of a few things like re-hashing ideas from previous Mario games and ugly characters. If you're gonna give an honorable mention, why do it for some small things that bothered you? This topic is "Worst Video Games", not "Bad/Annoying Things About Video Games".

Sorry for making most of this post off topic, but this just infuriates me.

agreed. D: I bought it second or third when i first got my DS, because it looked like a decent RPG. I start playing it, and after a few battles, i pop the game out again. The thing was crap. D:

another game i hated; Ping Pals, for the DS. it was like mixing Gaia online with Pictochat. there was NO POINT, no one else had the game so you couldn't link up with anyone, and it was just all over sucking. I hid it from the world, ashamed i had bought it. luckily it was pre-owned, so it was only five bucks. i could see why.

I paid a grand total of $2 for that game brand new.

It got so incredibly annoying having to repeat stuff if you mess up. I haven't played it since.

Counter - Strike.

This was the one that ruined the future of the PC gaming.
A lot of game categories died out and the "cool" ones (night racing, FPS) rules now.

One thing I hate with a passion, with a ****ing passion is when people ***** about good games saying they sucked. There is nothing wrong with 1/2 the games in this topic, you didn't like them, so what, they are not bad in anyway, shape, or form.

Um, I didn't like Pokemon Channel. The sad, pathetic, still-aged-six part of me did kind of think it was fun for the first half-hour or so, but it did NOTHING for Nintendo's credibility to have one of its biggest franchises having a game that was really aimed at six-year-olds.

I seem to be the only person in the world. I didn't HATE the game, I just thought it was disappointing. Riou was the king of generic heroes, Nanami was a female Gremio with ADHD, and Jowy was a stupid jerk who couldn't keep his reasons for his betrayals straight. Also, Luca was a horrible villain. No in-game motive=bad villain.

Umm no ... my point is this is a worst game ever thread, and even if you hate Halo and think it is overrated, can you honestly say "I would rather play Custer's Revenge and the CD-i Zelda games instead of Halo/Kingdom Hearts/Counter Strike"

There were more reasons why I hated it but I didn't write them down. For me I was playing it and it didn't seem the same as the other games. They took out the battle scenes that I personally liked and just made it into a Super Mario thing. Also I was mad that most of the partners came from treasure chests. Most of the partners came to you for a reason like Yoshi. He became your partner because you saved him from being eaten. But I'm sorry for making you mad and I'll edit my post.

I liked Wii Sports, though. You get excersise (not as much than if you actually played the sport, granted, but a lot more than just triddling a control stick) and you don't need an entire baseball team plus a lot of very pricey equipment to play.

Okay, a Wii is pretty expensive, yes. Not a touch on the PS3, though.

Agreed except for these :

Tecmo World Cup Soccer (Captain Tsubasa worked for an audience that didn't know, so lots of changes - a leveling system and a sport game with an RPG twist)
Mutant League Monsters (Both Hockey and Football in an unrealistic manner)
Fight Night (It doesn't appear every year, and while going from 2 to 3 didn't have a lot of changes, it's arguably the safest form of boxing I know)
WiiSports (Allows people to simulate a few sports without having to pay up the wazoo. Less exercise, but less is better than none)

Ah, that would by my one exception when it comes to sports games.
Actually, sports games for the wii in general don't tend to be as bad as the others.
