what I seriously suggest you do is pick a character you kick ass with most and practice the SHIT OUT OF HIM or HER.
why? You'll want to tackle Survival Mode soon.
And another thing: I'll give you a challenge.
beat every opponent in Arcade Mode on MANIAC without losing once. Meaning Boss mode I-No too. Tell me if that works and see how badly Boss Mode Order-Sol KILLS you.

I'm learning everyone to see who I'm best with :shoe:

If I do Arcade mode on Maniac without losing, I fight Order-Sol at the end? Cool :minuki:

I haven't played Isuka... Maybe once I'm bored of Accent Core I'll get another Guilty Gear game. There's some on PS2 right?

But he's one of those kids that likes to change the game every time he loses.

And every time he wins shouts "YAAAAAAAAAY I BEAT KENNY" and tells everybody.

Then changes the game.

I don't like him :yogi:

Dokenmaster the Fighting Game Bully. :x

I dunno, I just hold back on scrubs until they get the hang of how to play the game(usually 3S). Then I rape so they can learn how to not get..raped. Obviously it's different when I play against top players, but the point of fighting games is so you can play others, and it's not like you'll get any better yourself by destroying scrubs.

the stupid scrubs i hold back. the cookie-cutter scrubs i destroy. Nintendosaiyan doesn't look like either, but it'll still be fun to throw random items at.... random.

So, Doken, IS THIS A CHALLENGE? :gant:

Okay, at least for now nobody linked the Sirlin essay.

'cause that's pretty much THE Godwin for fighting games.

... We're not going to like this Sirlin guy are we?
EDIT: NEVER MIND!!!
Anyways. Nintendosaiyan, if you want my advice on playing ABA and because she's complicated, I suggest getting used to half-circle motions, because you'll have to memorize how to take advantage of her berserk state. (which i suggest you trigger by landing her command grab, hcb+HS)

Yeah, I can control her and stuff.

But I'm sooooooooooooooooo annoyed...

I've been on Arcade for hours and hours, I eventually beat Slayer (second-last stage) but only by changing character... Now I need to beat I-No with ABA, but... it's just so hard :lana: Just as I started to get really good, my mum decided to come in with her friend and watch TV... JUST GREAT! ARGH!

But they've left now :maya: Let's try again

EDIT - NO. I CAN'T DO IT. SHE'S TOO HARD, AND I JUST WASTED A WHOLE DAY ON GUILTY GEAR AND FOR WHAT? NOTHING! :zenitora: SO MUCH FOR WATCHING A FILM AND PLAYING N64 :lana: I am so leaving the Wii on overnight...

Yah.

Seriously, I've seen this touted on a goddamned CARD GAME forum. Albeit one related to fighting games but regardless.

Still, dropped from the GG scene after #Reload came out then never really got back in. Didn't they nerf Faust real bad in that one?

He doesn't have the lockdown he had in Reload. In Accent Core, he got a major boost, the karate chop he has now an EX move. I can still do most of my basic random item related combos with him. Other than that, the only FRC he's missing is the pogo mount.

Some of the things he says can be applied to anything that's played competitively. I've seen it on CARD GAME forums that aren't related to fighting games.

They said Wii, PS2 and PSP.

So I'm pretty sure it'll be on PS2. Also, if it hadn't been on PS2 I'd have been screwed as well.

I don't play it for the story, but when you see a character like Bridget or Faust then wouldn't you wanna know just what the f*** screwed them up so much? :lana: Luckily I found a website.

It's called Wikipedia :gant:
