Only for some characters :-P But I know now :gant:

You're right, though. Fighting games (and martial arts films) don't really need a good story, just as long as the action's good :minuki: But once I saw people like Zappa and Bridget, I just couldn't resist looking them up :keiko:

Since I got Dynasty Warriors 5 last week, I haven't been playing Guilty Gear. I guess I'm also kinda scared to play after what happened with ABA xD

I need to play it when I have the time, I'm missing it :acro:

I just finished another Arcade mode :maya: I was Anji-Mito... he's brilliant xD I managed to finish it in less than an hour! That's a new record for me :bellboy:

The thing I love about this game is that every character is as good as the others. I don't have a favourite or worst character, and in VS, I can just play as whoever I feel like :gant:

This game is so fun...

EDIT - I just noticed I double-posted... sorry :sadshoe:

.... GGAC is fairly balanced. Biggest problem is lockdowns are capable of being done with each character, except some are notably harder than others, etc.

Lockdown is a general fighting game term/strategy where you're basically doing a series of moves and chains that limit your opponent's options and keep them blocking.

Oh yeah. Go read this guide on how to understand Guilty Gear as a whole. You really need it.

That answer your question, Kapwhan? (and yes I am calling you Kapwhan from now on.)
Oh, and before I forget, it depends on who you're using, FNM. If I were you, I'd consult the wave chart for I-No's Megalomaniac.

So no big changes from AC to AC+ then? Hm.

As far as lockdowns are concerned, who cares? GG tends to have the best general tools to get out of those, provided they're used right.

I'm thinking of downloading it too. I own the UMD but it nice I can just load it up and still have the game I'm playing inside the PSP without switching. I ask this question on Gamefaqs. I only got two answer of no. The rest didn't answer anything. I have umds of these games but I wonder if I should also buy the psn versions. I know I be doing it with GG:J but not sure on the others.

Anyway to beat her refer to the images on the front page of this topic.

xD I can help! :maya: I only got this game on Christmas and I'm already really good ^^ This is what I do...

.Go on Practice Mode and learn a character's moves (look them up in the manual or the internet)
.Do Arcade Mode with them
.When you get to I-No, DON'T GET FRUSTRATED xD Believe me, that'll just make it worse... Just be calm, and try and beat her :shoe:
.Megalomaniac info is on page 1 :minuki:

See, I learn every character one by one, and do their Arcades one by one too. That way, I get to be good with every character slowly rather than be 'okay' with everybody at once :edgy:

If I stopped playing games because the people playing them were retards, I wouldn't be playing 90% of the games in my library.

Screw the english GG:J. Get the japanese one. You get SLASH instead of the broke as hell #Reload
I still play 3rd Strike. Never on controller. EVER.
But if you want my take on Guilty Gear nowadays, I'd rather play Overture. Reason being that it's more tactical than Chaos Legion and requires more skill than Dynasty Warriors, and is harder than both because enemy reinforcements come in from anywhere on the map. Especially near your ghosts.
