B-b-but how is that a bad thing? ;_;

Also, I've been wanting to play FF4: The After for a long while now. :edgy:

The SD storage system was long overdue. It's pretty good, only a small, six-second wait from the initial game load off the SD card to playing the game when I played both Sin and Punishment and Megaman 9. Moving games from the system to the SD card has gotten faster, too.

WarioWare: Snapped! looks good. I'll have to see more of it before I decide to pick it up, though I'm sure they can make some really weird games with the camera this time around.

I never really got into Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, so I'm probably going to skip My Life as a Darklord, as well.

The first footage really doesn't look too bad, to be honest. It's pretty much Phantom Hourglass with railroads instead of sailing.

EDIT: Oh, and the Virtual Console now hosts a section for arcade games, too. With Sega, Namco and Taito on board, hopefully we'll get some good games out of this.

Well, I sure hope so. Some of the NES versions of the classic arcade games aren't so well made.

.

Yeah, to be fair, I was initially more disappointed than I am now. I have really wanted to see Hyrule (as in, not sunken) in Wind Waker style, which this may deliver. It's still pretty weird putting Link in a n enginer driver's uniform, though.

Generally I'm disappointed by the fact that the DSi is probably going to be a must-buy if you want those games for no very good reason except accessibility to the shop. (except Warioware, obviously)

EDIT: Here's the trailer in trailer-quality

I suppose it'd be too much to hope that this Zelda will be a proper continuation of Windwaker's story?

You know... unlike Phantom Hourglass. >>

Phantom Hourglass was fine. Half the dungeons sucked, half the dungeons were interesting. It had great, great, GREAT supporting characters, that stupid dungeon you had to come back to, and an alright world. It was pretty easy, but at least I died more than in Twilight Princess.

Also, I doubt it. It looks like there's land everywhere here, and a non-Tetra Zelda, so I'm guessing it's WW style, but a different time.

I cannot stress how much we need Konami on this... TMNT Arcade anyone? How about Aliens arcade? Simpsons? X-Men? All would be AWESOME 4-player action on the Wii. Granted, licensing fees, but it would be made of win.

That's what I figured. Oh well.

Anyway, you pretty much summed up my thoughts of Phantom Hourglass as well, except for the "What was the point of making it a sequel to Windwaker if you're not gonna progress the story and end the game with the characters right where they started?" part.

Except wait, this is a sort of pattern for Zelda games, isn't it? (Re: Majora's Mask) So screw it. I'll just look forward to Link riding a train for some reason.

But really? "Spirit Tracks"? XD That sounds more like the name of a radio station than a game. Oh well, I liked Phantom Hourglass and played a bit of Wind Waker and enjoyed it, so I'll probably pick this one up too.

I am glad that the Wii gets the extra storage immediately from what I heard you can get it with the recent Wii system update. As far as the new Zelda well, I wished that they would have considered bringing it to the Wii but I will have to keep my eye on it.

Wow.

Nintendo is fucking dead to me. AGAIN. I mean, hey! Stuff we already knew, and... a DS Zelda. Whoo. So... how 'bout dat Wii huh?

Until Punch-Out!! comes out, because I'm a glutton for games that will be inevitable disappointments.

Could've called it Soul Train.

I'm not sure if that's worse or better.

HEY HEY HEY so I know I'm bumping an old topic but I just came across news about Spirit Tracks. Apparently this is from about a month ago, but I didn't know it so maybe you didn't too:

http://ds.ign.com/articles/102/1024990p1.html

Looks like it is a sequel to Phantom Hourglass which is excellent news, so maybe they will finally give some closure to the Windwaker storyline (fat chance, but I can always hope.)

But more importantly it's coming out December 7 of this year! I'm excited.

It being a sequel is actually old news, and you would probably be better off just making a Spirit Tracks topic.

Why is everybody freaking about it? He can collect magic Triforce pieces, turn into a wolf and all other things so why he can't ride a train?
