The truth is, I became a Pokemon fan when I first got FireRed, so HeartGold and SoulSilver don't seem as impactful to me as it should... But that doesn't mean this game is not going to be INSANELY AWESOME!!!

Can't they make a Crystal remake where Team Rocket takes over all four regions Giovanni holds a Machiavellan rule over all regions? He has herded all the citizens and made them do hard labor, with admins guarding over every city. However, all the gym leaders and Pokemon League members have formed an underground resistance, residing in the Underground. You, your rival, and the NPC of the other gender (like how you had Wally, May/Brendan, and yourself) manage to escape from the workplace by stealing 3 pokemon (one for each) and fighting their way out of the building (the original leveling up). You all try to join the Resistance, but are denied access until you can defeat 8 of the 32 gym leaders in the Resistance. Once you defeat 8, you are allowed in by the leader, who can't be seen because he's always silhouetted. You are given missions to liberate certain cities, which can be done by defeating a certain number of Grunts and then defeating the Admin in charge. Depending on the difficulty level you choose, the number of cities you must liberate changes. And in the end, when all the cities are freed, you must go to each of the Team Rocket headquarters and free everyone. Then you can go around all 4 regions however you wish, except all the gym leaders' have pokemon that are jacked in the 70's, and Elite Four members with pokemon in the 80's. And the 'real' Elite Four, consisting of Red, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, and.... ????? can be fought. It turns out the Champion is Scott, who actually is a wicked good trainer and has all llevel 100's. After you beat him, the leader of Resistance shows up and you fight him, except he has level 200 pokemon. You lose, and the journey continues... Wow. Crack ideas...and to think I wrote this all in 5 minutes or so... |

Indeed. The remixed music is so amazing. Admittingly, it can be a bit over the top sometimes, but tracks like the Johto Battle Theme, Azelea City & Pallet Town are just so well done & really nostalgic

I wonder if anyone is already thinking about what thier final party will be when they play this game again. I love Mareep-Flaffy-Ampharous, but because thunderpunch is now a physical attack, it will be a little harder to raise. Donphan, Jynx, and Skarmory will probably be on my team (Silver>Gold). |
