Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Wut? Er, sorry. Besides, if you're heading for ONE HUNDRED percent, you have to complete them on all difficulties. I think. Besides, I'm not touching those episodes again. They are PURE lag on my PC. |

Well, in that case, they'll get done when they get done, just expect them to take longer unless I can figure out some other way to rip them. |

Well, wait no longer, here's the tools I used to rip Another Code: R http://hobohodo.court-records.net/rips/Tools.zip Now, here's the problem. Wii resources are generally split between the TPL, and U8. Not that the TPL files are any less useful, but the U8 format is the one you want to really look out for, as it's a very deceptive format. U8 'extension' may or may not exist, even if the file is U8. Open up the file with a Hex Editor and if the file starts with U8, then rename the file to U8 and the tools should be able to extract it. |

Aha, perfect. Turns out I was looking in the wrong place, and many of the textures are in .brres files, which are easy to work with with those tools. Thanks. EDIT: Hmm, some of the textures are showing up as black-and-white when they're not supposed to be. I'll take another look later. |

The Rosalia virus creeps me the hell out, not the surgeries(I haven't played the game, just been watching a walkthrough) but coughing up blood, having it come out of your mouth, nose, and I think eyes, moving black bruises, giant butterfly larva on you heart, ugh. I can't tell if that's worse Nightmare fuel than the organ-turning-to-stone Triti, or not; but I am now kinda afraid of butteflies. I have to day, I'm tempted to not sell my Wii just for this game though, advice? |

If I didn't have a Wii to begin with, I would've bought one JUST FOR THIS GAME because it is just that good of a game. And I'm afraid of butterflies now too. In science class, when we began to build rockets, I refused to even go near my friend's rocket because she put butterfly stickers on it. She must've thought I was nuts or something when I was like "O.O YOUR ROCKET IS DISEASED!!! KEEP AWAY FROM ME!" |

Last week, my friend and me were walking to my house and I turn my head to look at him, and then look back in front of me, and there it was... a butterfly. I swear that I had one of the biggest flinches of my life, and let out a small "Ah!". My friend then proceeded to mock me, and I proceeded to describe that butterflies are evil demons who will make you blood leak from your nose, mouth, and eyes, and kill you. He laughed more and told me I play really weird Japanese soap opera games. I guess I do. Heh. |

Okay, looks like some of the images have a palette that gets applied to them in-game, exportable as a .plt0 file. Now I need to figure out how to apply said palette to the .tex0 files. The ones without palettes are exportable fine in full color. |

Well, putting aside the texture/palette problem for now; it seems .tex0 files and .plt0 files form .tpl files, but I can't find a tool to combine the two into a .tpl (which I could then export as a colored PNG) for the life of me. In the meantime though Spoiler: That tie should sue BONUS Spoiler: "Crime of Passion" spoilers, though not what Dylia requested since that's a texture with palette troubles |

XD Oh, and I have a small favor to ask of you. There is another tierape scene closer to the end of the game where Little Guy has a somewhat different reaction than this one. If you find any free time, can you rip that one too please? Sorry if I'm bothering you too much. Before I forget, Dylia, Your sig is awesome, but it's a bit out of regulations as far as height goes. And I can't wait to see what else you can unearth. Really looking forward to the Forensics card pieces in particular. I'm practicing my CSS3 and I've got something cool in mind I want to try if you can find those pieces. |

The search continues. The comic scenes are all in .brres files, but I'm having more trouble finding non-comic graphics. Most of those seem to be in other file formats (and are usually textures of the _8 or _9 variety, which Dolphin trips up on when dumping) which are much messier to deal with. Interestingly, the diagnosis patients actually have sprite sheets: Spoiler: This doubles as an example of how Dolphin trips up on the non-comic textures Meanwhile, many of the comic scenes are black-and-white: Spoiler: Naomi could use some time in the sun These are the ones that have associated palette files which I need to find some way to apply. Again, apparently the .tex0 files and .plt0 files make up a .tpl (which I probably would be able to convert to .png or .tga), but all I can find are .tpl splitters or .tex0 and .plt0 joiners made specifically for Smash Bros Brawl (any ideas, Wooster?). Dolphin dumps these textures fine and fully colored, but that necessitates seeing them in-game (and since some only show up after operations, that's a little problematic). Comic backgrounds and some characters have their own palette, however, and can be ripped easily. Spoiler: The table is actually a separate texture Practically speaking, all this means that sometimes it'll be easier to use Dolphin, and sometimes ripping directly. Spoiler: Bonus Little Guy since I haven't actually gotten around to the requests yet |

Why is everyone in this game given fanservice? The Japenese box seems to focus on Maria's boobs, now Tomoe topless(facing away but still), Gabriel and Hank shower together once or twice, and then CR-SO1 isn't (despite being fangirl bait ). Now what about Naomi?

Naomi is fan service by point of fact as her being a returning character? CR-S01 could also be argued as fan service since his mode is Trauma Center. |

My Wii had a damaged lens when I bought Trauma Team. I sent it off for repair, and finally got it back. I have to say, this game is AMAZING! 6 storylines fit perfectly together, voice acting is superb, difficulty is reasonable for anyone, and damn. Those FORENSICS episodes! I started playing through the episodes in character order; going through one episode for each character at a time. Then, I hit Naomi's first episode. I immediately broke my selection style and have progressed to Forensics: Episode 7. I would've played more, but it was 2 AM XD Finally, I smell something fishy within the gaming industry...How is such a great game cheaper than the other filth that gets shat out onto the Wii? Trauma Team is now $39.99 in my local store, about $20 cheaper than regular games. Hopefully this game is a wake-up call for all Wii game producers. FOLLOW ATLUS' EXAMPLE! Most of us love voice acting, original Japanese elements (don't take it all away and remix it!), and a good storyline/proper gameplay. An amazing game can be affordable and great. Me = LOVE ATLUS |

For some reason there are a few textures with palettes that BrawlBox loads correctly. If you go back in the .brres file and replace the palette and textures that work with the ones that don't (while keeping the same filenames as the working ones), they'll show up correctly. I haven't the faintest idea why - it must have something to do with the structure of the .brres file, since this workaround modifies nothing in the palette or texture, only its label/position in the .brres file. Also one last one before I go off to bed (and to celebrate my 1000th post): Spoiler: This guy is so awesome he gets his own full background image instead of just being a sprite |

LOL I love how Derek is practically a god in this game. You can just hear the hallelujah chorus in the background... Yeah, I don't get the price drop. This game is freakin' amazing, but there's no advertisements for it! There's no posters up at the video game stores and the commercials don't show up anywhere. I only knew about the game because I saw their booth at Anime Expo and had my friend (who is subscribed to Atlus) give me updates on the game. Why is it all hush-hush? >:[ On the fanservice note, I thought Naomi's presence was enough "fanservice" <_< >_> I mean, she's got the same superlong v-neck as the last game... *cough* |

I fell in love with the series once I got my hands on Under the Knife 2. The first one was too much for my nerves (I failed too much), but I finished UtK2 and Second Opinion. Through some weird twist of fate, I never found New Blood and right now I'm anxiously waiting for Trauma Team to hit the stores over here.

CURSE YOU, ATLUS D8 Back when I started playing Second Opinion, I favored Little Guy and Naomi together just to "pair the spares", so to speak (and between my group of friends, we nicknamed him "Blondie"...
