Final Fantasy XIV confuses me.

I wanna see what the random unnamed game on Capcom's list is.

Its clear that Sony was the winner this year. FFVII is on the American PSN NOW. FFXIV looks OK, but I'm not a fan of MMOs so I'll give it a miss.

Does anybody know what day it'll be revealed? There's two, right?
Some irrational part of me is hoping that Capcom'll say "GUYS, GK IS COMING OUT IN ENGLISH TOMORROW INSTEAD OF WINTER! lolol"
But that'll never happen. XP

Given the clues they've given out over Twitter, it's almost certainly Resident Evil PSP.

That was Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, which got let out of the bag a few weeks ago via Nintendo Power.

I hope it's none of those. I also hope it isn't anything Resident Evil, Ace Attorney, Street Fighter, or Megaman.

EDIT: Dammit, you're right Bolt Storm, the twitter confirmed it.

Thanks for dashing my hopes, dreams, and aspirations yet again Capcom ='(

Apart from SMG2 and NSMBWii, there was nothing that I was particulary interested in from Nintendo's conference (still, it was better than last year...)

The fact that Team Ninja is working on it as opposed to Retro Sudios, gives me quite the opposite impression, I'm afraid! :edgeworth:

Oh, and 'Yellow Toad' and 'Blue Toad' must be the lamest new characters ever introduced, in any mario game, since Baby Peach/Daisy (what's wrong with Wario and Waluigi/Yoshi, for crying out loud?).

I've got to say, so far my favorite announcement has to be Metroid: Other M. Sony's press conference kinda disappointed me, it just felt kind of predictable (other than The Last Guardian and FFXIV, the latter of which I'm not interested in). Nintendo's was really good (especially compared to the horror story that was last year. They're giving us Metroid and a lot of Mario, namely Galaxy 2, so I'm happy), but the pulse checker has me thinking they've lost their minds, we'll see what they do with it though. I've got to say Microsoft's was the best in my book, a little bit shooter happy, but this is the 360 we're talking about so it's to be expected. Don't get me started on Ubisoft...

Just my two cents, I'm sure someone will completely disagree with me, but to each his own. I'm pretty content with E3 this year, except for James Cameron's...err...Ubisoft's press conference.

Apparently, Golden Sun is worth everybody and their grandmother getting raging hard-ons over for some reason that is unknown to me, but the positive reception isn't as rampant here as the other places I visit. The only thing that caught my interest was Super Mario Galaxy 2.

I haven't seen anyone having spazz attacks about Microsoft's conference.

I didn't pay attention to Sony's, or E3 at all, this year.

My general video game interest and enthusiasm is slowly waning.

these are all I can remember actually, but I'm sure I missed out on some? Not sure which ones weren't announced yet.

Of all the conferences, Nintendo did the vest IMO.

Ms and Sony are going more casual and I don't like it one bit. Don't have a PSP and most of the games presented there didn't even interest me that much.

Same with MS. Only MGS rising got my interest.

Nintendo on the other hand is giving us plenty of new 'not casual' games to look forward to.

I'm still kinda dissapointed in the E3 as a whole.

Also, I'm pretty sure AAI is still coming out in January '10. *sigh*

Final Fantasy, Golden Sun, Metroid, SMG2... I am content. (Except for Yellow and Blue Toad. WTH? The regular Toad is freakin' annoying enough. Grr...)

I'm waiting for a huge bombshell, myself. Something's bound to show up.

Well, Wooster, they didn't even say anything about the release dates of the titles we're already aware of like NMH 2, Pikmin 3, etc... I don't even recall seeing anything on "Ace Attorney Investigations"... Maybe the "Third-Party Companies" will be bringing out their games to the table in the upcoming days...

With regards to AAI, I don't expect anything to be announced we aren't already aware of. The playable demo won't be until ComicCon, Nintendo gave out the most up to date release window for NA (I'm not expecting an update on Europe's release until a European convention). And with Capcom pushing Resident Evil, and all those "Vs Capcom" titles anything Capcom says about AAI would be bogged down with all the hype they're actively trying to push for those bigger titles. Just give me a press kit with some cool art and I'll be happy. We can wait for some more localized names when we get to comicon and the demo.

With regards to tricks up Nintendo's sleeves, we know that the press has seen promo art for the new Zelda Wii title, Retro studios is up to something, and I expect to hear something about Cing's Trace Memory R coming to the states.

On the other hand, StarFox series I'm under the impression is on hold, F-Zero I don't have a clue if it's in development or not. I would love some Fire Emblem news, but the series is bigger in Japan then the States so a Japanese convention would be better for it. Pikmin 3 is in development, but the staff is spread too thin to make that one a grand priority.

Oh god, I'd love some Fire Emblem news as well. ;-; Though I don't have a Wii, so I haven't even played Radiant Dawn yet. Maybe another DS game? I'd like some new StarFox, too. I love that cocky bastard.

I really do hope that Nintendo busts out with something epic and unexpected. The allegedly (I haven't seen it yet) crappy conference can't be all they've got...

Assassin's Creed II
Super Mario Galaxy 2

ROB HALFORD
LEMMY KILMISTER
OZZY OSBOURNE

I'm expecting a huge dud.

'cause the entire fucking conference was like one to me.

No seriously Golden Sun DS I'm supposed to be excited about? I didn't even give a crap when the first two were released and I can't see myself really caring about it now.

My wish list is growing v_v:

God of War 3
Golden Sun DS
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
The Last Guardian (can't WAIT for this one)
Final Fantasy Dissidia (or this one!)
Assassin's Creed 2

I didn't watch the conferences in their entirety (except Sony) but am I mistaken that some games weren't mentioned? I know there are three FFXIII games: Versus, Agito, and the one they're promoting right now. Are they going to be releasing them one after the other and just keeping the number XIII the same? Or... what? o_O Ditto with Kingdom Hearts, got the 358/2 Days trailer (can't even compare to the TGS trailer), but no Birth by Sleep.

Also.. did anyone else find the Nintendo conference kind of a borefest? Felt like they did so much talking about reaching out to casual gamers and the rest was filled with Wii Resort and Wii Sports stuff. Or maybe I missed the exciting part of it. v_v

In any case, time to get a PS3 methinks.. :acro:

Assassin's Creed II looks better and better the more I see of it.
However, am I the only one thinking that The Saboteur is shaping up to be a serious rival for the series?
Fifa 10 is looking impressive with 360º dribbling (FINALLY!) and better manager mode.
Batman Arkham asylum looks better and better too.
I'm just waiting for some Just Cause II news now.

The Desperate Struggle trailer is the best thing I've seen so far. Coach from L4D2 is also awesome.

I mean, of course I want to play FF XIII, but the trailer did not fill me with overflowing anticipation. Though, afro baby chocobo guy is still the cooooooooooolest.

Meh, trailer was fine but when one leaked trailer is the be-all end-all of your enjoyment of the event, it's kind of bad.

Only reason I'm sold on the game is because of Tim Schaefer and the heavy saturation of the theme in every single part of the game.
