No he isn't. He's saying: "I managed to post here before someone said Rock Band is better!", so he's implying that this topic was obviously going to turn into Guitar Hero vs Rock Band.

Rock Band is the far superior game, but I look forward to this. This september I have to make a choice... this, or The Beatles: Rock Band.

Yeah, I'll go with this.

Bring The Noise - Public Enemy and Zakk Wylde (Where's Anthrax?)
Blue Orchid - The White Stripes
Fame - David Bowie
Lithium - Nirvana
Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash
Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting - Elton John
Song 2 - Blur
The Spirit of Radio - Rush
Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Sympathy For The Devil - The Rolling Stones
Under Pressure - Queen
What I Got - Sublime

All great songs. I have to admit, though. Most of these songs I've never heard of. :payne:

Acually that Queen song is with David Bowie. But yeah all the songs are awsome but there are some band that they haven't chosen a song for like 3 doors down, Gorillaz, Billy Idol, and Motly Crew.

I know. But there's already a Bowie song, and I always have considered it a song by Queen featuring David Bowie, even though technically, it's the other way around.

And I hope that Motley Crue song is Dr. Feelgood. I'd like to play it with GH5's features. :rock'n:

GHWT's DLC was decent. Just infrequent.
Spoiler: Examples
The Death Magnetic Album - Metallica
Hot Blooded - Foreigner
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Supernatural Superserious - REM
Fire, If 6 Was 9, Foxey Lady & Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix
Mr. Brightside & Human - The Killers
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins
Life In The Fast Lane - Eagles
Low (Travis Barker Remix) - Flo Rida (which is lame, I know. But it was fun regardless)
Dimension - Wolfmother
Outtathaway! - The Vines
Black Betty - Ram Jam
Gimme All Your Lovin' - ZZ Top
Drive - Incubus
Wonderwall - Oasis
Old Time Rock N Roll - Bob Seger
Hier Kommpt Alex - Die Toten Hosen
We Are The Champions & Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
Bodhisattva - Steely Dan
Iron Fist - Motorhead
The Touch - Stan Bush (I nearly came when I saw this was on there)
21st Century (Digital Boy) - Bad Religion
I'm Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys

No. I only recently got the game, and my 360 is broken. I've played it at my friend's house maybe 3 times and all 3 times that song was not downloaded.

I was looking at the list of DLC tracks. :wellington:

I didnt like world tour and did trade it in for rock band 2 at one point.
But I adored GH3. I'll have to see the set list before I buy. But Im pretty open to it if they can somehow restore its former glory.

Really? I thought GH3 was the low point for Guitar Hero (excluding "Rock's The 80s", which was really just an expansion pack for GH2).

And just so you know, I'm not necessarily a GH fanboy. I bought RB2 instead of WT. And I had the choice of what I wanted for my birthday. Rock Band in many ways is superior. But that doesn't mean you should just write off GH like some people have done

I keep thinking "This Guitar Hero looks pretty good" but I don't buy it because I've only heard of two songs in the series, which are both very hard.

I took a look at the set list the other night, though it is good (2 minutes to Midnight, Du Hast, Spirit of Radio, Ring of Fire, Done With Everything,Die for Nothing, are some of the ones I like, but can't remember more), I don't think I'll be getting it due to $ issues. I might rent it, but that's about it.

Since I already have all the necessary instruments, it'll be much cheaper for me. I can understand that if you had to but any instruments, though.

Long story short:
I like the look of a GH game
Dont get it.
Only know two songs in the entire series.
Can't play it at all well.

I don't get how people can prefer Rock Band to Guitar Hero, I've always thought that GH had the best tracklist. (Which is all I care about, when I play it.)

probably because rock band is done by the people who did guitar hero 1 and 2, which were the best entries in the franchise

after neversoft took over the notecharts started being weird and bad, the graphics somehow got IMMEDIATELY worse (whut) and the entire feel of the game was different

people go to rock band for the feel of guitar hero 1 and 2
(plus a lot of people like the rb tracks more)

adding onto Gozu, the Rock Band series has better DLC.
