A pitiful attempt at making the Sonic Series "hardcore." As a loyal fan of FPS's ,open world shooters, and action flicks, I know how to make a game violent but not to violent. Shadow the Hedgehog never escalates above Saturday morning cartoon level violence when it could be PG-13 level violence. The amount of (mild) swearing is pathetic, the camera sucks, and Shadow is not a compelling character. I know two people who liked this, and both of them are dorky. Kids, if you want an introduction to shooters, play either the excellent Timesplitters 2 , Halo, or Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

I've played until the end of the first boss and I'll say this now: If you think the controls sucked in the main stages then you don't want to play the mach speed areas: You looks the ability to control yourself in the air.

In context these two weren't all that bad. SZC was probably the better of the two, but it's only weakness was stacking the Mortal Kombat license on it (and, ironically, what drove it to sell a bit better).

Shadow the Hedgehog isn't even a shooter. It's playing as Sonic Heroes Shadow with guns.

I totally agree with you, But I would say it would be better to play Timesplitters 3 than #2. TS3 was soo much better.
I would like to think that the worst game made would be Superman 64.

Final Fantasy VII.
I bought this back in 2003 after hearing it was such an epic game. Yet, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment ever. People playing it back in 1997 may have enjoyed but I didn't as the game was too slow and ugly for this generation. I played some classic Psx games that same year, and I absolutely enjoyed everything except FFVII.

We'll have to disagree on that one, because I'd probably put in MK1, MK3 (UMK3 was marginally better), MK:DA and MKD as well. I haven't played MKA yet so I can't really tell.
Also agreed on FFVII, if only to piss off the fanboys.

I'd buy it, if only for the comedic value and the game's constant reassurance that I am indeed winner.
Although FFVII does get way too much hype. I liked the exploration factor of FFVIII, though. That one was much better.

Oh My Schnap! How can you say that? Zell is like one of the best FF Characters ever, Squall's pretty cool, and Selphies...there. Plus the storyline was just aweosmeness and all the other characters were good...right?
Uh anyway, I would say this game I got with my PS2, Eternal RIng, is pretty bad, Tomb Raider on the PS2 (the first one) had probably the worst control system ever.

Bruce Lee: Quest of the Dragon - This game is just plain terrible.
Final Fantasy VII - Certainly not the worst game... but easily the most overrated one. Final Fantasy VI > The Rest.
The Matrix Online - Not only a movie-game, but an MMO at that. And most MMOs are terrible.

And by ten-year-old technology, I mean triggers. The enemies can't even see you, but if you touch a trigger somewhere in the level (which you can't of course see), the annoying music starts playing and all the enemies come charging at you.
