The Game People are already calling the best comic based game, (seriously) deserves a topic. I have the game and it rocks. Here are the Pros and cons of the game.

Pros: A good fighting system, a well designed environment, an eriee setting and creepy tone that keeps you hooked, the charactorization in flawless, good story, and Mark Hamill as The Joker.

Cons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY9r6MqGksE

They explain it better.

I played a demo of it in HMV earlier today. Althought I only played it for 5 minutes, I have to say it was worth the hype. Definitely a must-buy for me :P

Okay, so instead of explaining the cons to us, you have us watch a 10-minute long video of some guys trying to be funny but end up making fools of themselves, while not actually telling us anything about the cons. So if that's explaining it better, I'm not sure I want to see you try.

Ummm that was acually a joke, there are no real cons to BAA, I just like the video.

BTW why don't you like retsupe? I'm not trying to start a flame war, or even argue (everyone is entitled to there opinion), I just wanna know why.

Now that doesn't make sense. There is no game with no cons. There just isn't.

And why I didn't like them? First of all, I found the video to be quite meaningless, considering they: a) Barely talked about the game, and b) Even if barely talking about the game was intentional, they weren't funny. They tried too hard, only serving to make them look like idiots and they laughed at their own crappy jokes.

Ok, a con is not enough Batman characters. They could have ditched the whole titans plot and added more interesting and well-known people.

All of the actual batman characters were fine, but the whole titan plot was unnecessary, the game would've been fine without it.

OK you got me, there is a con, the camra can be a little loose at times.

There is only one wrong with this game, other than the dodgy camera and some tedious bits.

It didn't spoil the game, but I really wish that that had been included; would've made it even better.

How is that a con? Hell, I can name a couple REAL cons off the top of my head for the game.

Spoiler: game

- Titty formula was pointless, considering they still had Venomroids.

Scarecrow's design was pretty sweet, IMO. And encountering him was the best part of the game. The only major letdown of the game for me was the final boss, and the pre-final boss fight. That was incredibly anticlimatic.

I enjoyed all the boss fights mostly though. It took everything I loved from Batman Begins and made it better, so it's win win for me. It's a massive fanwank for a Batfan like myself.

Look, I'll admit it. I play with a guide. This is ONLY because I tend to suck at video games, especially games like this, and there are times when I just want to get on with the story (*cough hack* all the time *cough hack*). And the bonus stuff. LOVE the patient interviews.

But you remember the mob boss' reaction in Batman begins after getting hit with Fear Toxin? You know,
Spoiler:
the shaking and muttering "Scarecrow" over and over again?

That was me when I realized
Spoiler:
Oh. Crap. Gotta fight Scarecrow again. And WTF THREE TIMES?!!

Makes me sad that one of my two favorite villains is the one that I am actually scared to fight. He is the first thing that has ever made me scream while playing a video game.

Spoiler: Scarecrow fight
When you open the bodybags in the morgue and it's like "oh, hi, zombie-dad. Hey, 'sup, zombie-mom? Who's up next? Alfred... OMGWTFBBQ?!!" Yeah. I screamed.

Only flaw is having to hold A to run in an action game (and using A for about ten other things as well). Apparently Rocksteady is two generations behind to know how to properly use the analog stick.

Not flooding the game with every Batman villain allowed potential for a second game like it, something I definitely wouldn't be upset with.

I disagree. While I would love another game, especially if they make it as awesome as this one, I think they've basically shut down Arkham for future games.

Not to mention, they didn't kill any of the villains in the game off. So they still have them to reuse.

But they only can reuse some. I mean do you want to buy the same game? I don't think so. Maybe it can start out the same but then The Peguin breaks free and steals Joker so that his mind waves can Power the Asylem and let The Peguin choose who fights The Bat. Maybe Scarecrow again (God those levels where messed up) and also Harley but I'd like to fight Firefly, Killer Moth, Man-Bat, and Mr. Freeze. I'd also think that The Riddler could be a person you fight after you beat the game 100%. Yeah I know the plot is wierd but this is a comic book based game and they're aloud to stetch reallity a bit.

This game was the shit, I just finished it on the weekends and wow was I blown away. My only problem was the final boss, I thought a little formula was gonna aid me, if that isn't too spoiler-y.

A sequel would be awesome, though Batman games tend to be one shots, (mostly because the majority sucked).

No Robin though, he would have been useful for those damned armed thugs.

Also, throwing someone down a 40ft elevator shaft would render them only 'unconcious'.

But most Batman games before this generation (if not all) are garbage.

One of the best games I've ever played by a mile. You're safe with this topic Kenny.

Personally, loved Arkham this time round, wouldn't want to see it again It's too small to get anything new out of. I'd feel cheated in all honesty if a sequel were set there. I want all out open world Batman in Gotham, a la Spiderman game.
I want Bruce's story explored more, I want Alfred, I want to use the batmobile and the Batwing. The Joker would play a main role again, but more direct involvement from the Riddler, the Penguin and Harvey Dent would be nice.
They could maybe incorporate Robin somehow for online co op, or do a prequel involving Batgirl.
I'd want it truly sandbox, so Safehouses in the Batcave, Wayne Ind. and Wayne Mansion. I'd want side missions from the Police targeting gangs, mafias and thieves.
I'd like to be able to grapple whilst gliding.

I expect a lot. Maybe it's best they don't make a sequel.

Did Scarecrow die in BAA? Croc certainly had him down. I loved his parts. Especially the second, the street transformation and young Bruce were epic.

Great game, varied and portrayed all the characters perfectly. All the gadgets were perfectly incorporated and the detail was superb. A hearty 9.5/10 from me. Only let down was the slightly limited use of the grapple. I'd have loved to go even higher up the clock tower, or onto the chimneys.

What you're talking about is a completely different kind of Batman game all together. Could you consider it a sequel? I thought that AA did a nice job of mixing linear story-telling with semi-free range activities, and I wouldn't want to see them sacrifice one for the other.

But I would like to see a larger variety of gadgets/techie things, more than just following a trail. Like actually searching for clues, or mixing chemical minigames or something.

And none of the villains die.

Spoiler:
At the end of the game someone reaches out of the water to grab the Titan crate. From what I've heard it can either be Bane, Croc, or Scarecrow that does it. But I've only seen Bane.
