The article points out that the design change is intended to benefit the elderly and people with sight problems. It also costs the same as the current DSi model. In other words, stop whining. I like. :D |

it's not new. the dsi and ds lite are actually different internally as well, i believe the dsi has about twice the amount of processing power and quadruple the amount of RAM, along with all the external changes. in the end, if this is true, there's just going to be a different version with a bigger screen. |

Hell no, I can't get my DS' screens fixed because DS Lite screens are hard to find here because of the DSi. Now with this bigger screens it'll be even harder. Did they just think of this? Couldn't they have given the original DSi this screens? |

Hmm... On the one hand, it sounds pretty cool. Bigger screens? Always a good thing. On the other... I literally just bought a DSi last week to replace my DS Lite. And I'm really enjoying the features...especially its ability to support my network's security type. If they're keeping the same price tag, I'm going to guess nothing else will be modified, so I don't think I'll be making the switch any time soon. If it even comes over here. |

Meh... I think its not really necessary... Anyways, I've heard that its just the screen thing and it may not come out of japan... So... I don't really care :P. I will just stick with the one I have right now. The only thing I care is for the DS to play DS games and that's it. |

I don't really see the point of just making the screen bigger. It's just like that "sneakers" marketing scheme where they make the tiniest modifications and then sell the product at a higher price. To me it makes no sense. Like the trope "One game for the price of two", maybe? I dunno. But I prefer my DS Lite. Never got into the DSi anyways. |

I already made the mistake with the GBA (games on the micro are tiny), so I'm perfectly fine with my DSlite, and that goes for the PSP too. I'll keep my missing pixel PSP. |

I think nintendo is pretty greedy since they didn´t made the wii cheaper I mean EVEN microsoft sells a 360 for like 199 euros(Sorry i dunno what it is in dollars) and The PS3 is also like 300 (NOT THE SLIM version)  we are talking about handhelds well the psp is pretty cheap too (but i prefere my ds lite)
