The Blizz website is one-by-one counting through their titles. Yesterday it was WC2 (the day before that WC1, I guess), today it's Diablo. Tomorrow... StarCraft. And so on.

Yeah. That's what they're going to announce.
The anticipation is KILLING me.
Diablo 3 would be amazing, but... they're in Korea. StarCraft is like the freakin' Korean NATIONAL SPORT. They'd be idiots not to announce a new StarCraft title there. But will it be a direct RTS sequel? Some sort of RPG (or a revival of Ghost?) or even like a MMO?
I can't freakin' wait.

But with the way WoW development is going now, I'm afraid that this "megaton announcement" is going to end up being more hash stuffed down a funnel, thanks to the corporate whip of Vivendi Universal (remember Blizzard's apprehension last year when Vivendi went out of line and made shadowy claims that they could capitalize on Blizzard's IPs by making MMORPGs out of them).

WoW critics and diehard players alike want to have a word with you. Yes, even me. WoW is in a great number of ways being hamhandedly handled and bungled in its continuing development.
As for the domain name registration, a lot of companies do that - registering websites and sometimes their variations. As "telling" as it is that other numbered relatives of Starcraft2.com are being squatted rather than owned by Blizzard, I wouldn't put it beyond their legal team. Just keep an open mind here.
As I mentioned in my last post, the -best- possible scenario would be an altogether new IP.
