Kotaku reports it may also be bloodless and fatality less.
I always wanted a DC vs. game, but made by Capcom (or maybe SNK)...and eventually a Marvel vs. DC game.
This will be an interesting game, to say the least.

Honestly, I could see Blue Beetle Jamie Reyes in there, and that's about as far removed as a Justice Leaguer you can find. I'd settle for Simon Dark, too.

It's not a bad idea . . . but the only DC characters I remotely like are Batman, the Flash, and Green Lantern.
I guess they couldn't ask Marvel since they're tied up with EA and Activision right now.

Good gameplay + No fatalities = Good enough.

Highlights:
-There will be like 20-22 characters, with 10-11 on each side. This is not finalized though, it could be changed.
-The game COULD still be M-rated. He's not sure due to the toning of the violence, but he personally feels it should be M-rated.
-The finishing moves won't be as gory as the old fatalities, but they will be large, epic attacks.

There's going to be finishers. Most likely like the ones in Marvel Nemesis. They killed the opponent but they weren't gorey in any way. That game was rated T as well so that's probably what Midway will go for.
