My my, it appears that many people in these stories fail to perceive when something is going to go wrong. Reminds me of two of the three corners of the n00b style: The Stop Having Fun Guys and The Scrub (there's also The God Modder). It appears that many people seem to not accept their own shortcomings in the online community, and in life in general. Lost a match? It's obviously not your fault, it's the sniper who can't snipe or the medic who wasn't always healing (even if he was getting attacked at the same time) Someone in your party die? Obviously it's the tank's fault for not being able to draw aggro (even if the game's coding forces monsters to Pick and choose targets, and moves, completely at random) School shooting? Blame the video games he was playing. It appears that humans have some sort of inability to accept their own shortcomings or failures. Now, there are some who understand that they screwed up somewhere along the line and admit it, but they tend to be overshadowed by the idiots who always blame others. Ah well, their choice. |

UGH!! I was just on Mariokart online, and there was this hacking jerk. He wasn't even that good, I beat him even though he had unlimited stars. He kept crashing into walls and failing miserably. I hate it when people that cant play games good use hacks to try and be better, because then when they don't have their precious hacks their even worse. People who use hacks and have at least some skill are better, but I still hate them |

Hackers, hackers, hackers. No doubt the most annoying type of player in any game, but made all the more comical when they still lose. I still do not understand why one attempts to cheat when playing against others (against only CPUs, it's fine. Against other players, it makes them seem quite foolish and childish, showing that they are unable to take a loss). |

I dunno. When SOCOM II came out and pretty much the entire online community moved over to the new game, I went back to the first SOCOM after a few months to just play one or two online maps that weren't in the sequel. The entire game was overrun with hackers, most of which were players who were making their soldiers/terrorists FLY around the maps from miles above. I thought it was pretty hilarious watching everyone screw around. I guess it depends on whether they're hacking for fun or hacking to win. |

Okay, in the first page people were saying how I had a share of n00bishness in my story. Someone died, and they blamed not the TWO healers, but the tank. Not only that, they flamed me. Okay, I shall elaborate on my story. Spoiler: saving space |

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and some n00b ended up camping in one place. Ok, camping is fine, I ran in like a mad bull, cos the game is all about running a gunning right? Guess what!!!!! They shot me and stayed camping, I kept trying to run and gun and they just camped, it pissed me of sooo much. I got so frustrated at them being so booooring. Camping is lame man. I GOT SHOT BY A N00BTUBE, OMG! Sorry, could not resist taking the mick out of some people there. I do not really like the whole n00b complaint or even the way it is wrote with 0s by people. Some people are new, inexperienced, fine they learn and sometimes need a little prod through advice and time. Others are arrogant, they did well in the beginning dungeons or offline, they might be the best among their friends who never really bothered to get too serious into the game but online they fast learn they are not that good but try to keep their 'gaming god' persona from the offline there too. Then some people are just not that good at the games they play but get bashed for it constantly, called n00bs for not reading all the garbage on the Internet about tactics or how to get around a map their may only seen ones. There is a problem with people very quickly calling other people names and putting them down online, oh we are anonymous, we are legion. I much prefer play with a bunch of novice than a group of elitist gamers, though saying that, I suck at so many games. I'm not ever going to be a pro at any sort of computer game but enjoy playing them for what they are. Wow I ranted, BWAHAHA. funny that. I do not understand how something which 'works' can be condemned so much, like the grenade launcher attachment in Call of Duty, it sucks to be blown up by it sure but it gets the kill doesn't it? It is there for anyone to use, but I guess this is the scrub concept here hmm. I do know some people getting a little disheartened by aggressive attitudes playing online because of people. This reminds me of Nativism in US history. Aww. I do have a story though. I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and one player kept running and jumping into this same wall over and over, I assume they were trying to get up on some box or something but it just was not happening. They did get shot in the end and ended up trying to play normally though. Before someone lampoons me, I do know the apparent difference some people place on 'newbie' and 'n00b' I just think many people do not stop to use it. |

In Battlefield:Bad Company I was online and this guy on our team kept shooting at us. He got at least 8 team kills as the match was going on. It was annoying It also pisses me off whenever I play Rock Band online and I end up being the guitarist and the other guy ends up being the bassist the other guy just quits. Suck it up man, playing the bass is not all that bad. |

I was playing Maximum Tune 3 in the arcade when a kid sat in the machine beside me has this fully tuned 820hp Evo 8, I only had an 800hp Supra for I still haven't done the third and fourth playthroughs and this kid was on automatic and kept challenging me for 8 games until I got tired on the 9th game where I intentionally lost just to stand up from the game and take a rest. I beat him 8 times and he wasted a total of 72 pesos just by challenging me. It was these types of kids my friends and I hate, they tire you, waste your time and mess up your goal of finishing 20 stages in that day. |

My friend is a n00b at scribblenauts and prof layton. He can't get the butterfly to get down, and he's stuck on the key puzzle in diabolical box. |
