Like it or not, Tomb Raider was one of the best games in the history, and one of the best series too. Although Chronicles and AOD sucked. Legend was fuckin awesome but short and Anniversary looks to be a cracker?

What are your thoughts on this apparently lacklustre franchise?

Also, Last Revelation was weird.

Tomb Raider was a mediocre franchise and I never liked it. It's nowhere near being one of the greatest gaming franchises ever.

Lara Croft also sucked as a protagonist and character.

Tomb Raider, for all the press and iconography it generated, was middling as an actual game. As a pioneer for publically available 3D boobies, it was awesome.

Some games were great, some were bad. I'm planning on getting Anniversary, though.

I liked the first 2 back in the day, but every single one after that sucked balls untill Legend came around. I'm looking forward to anniversery collection.
