I only ever played Crystal, so I'm looking forward to playing the remakes of Gold and Silver. Though the new names are quite cheesy.

I didn't start hacking and cheating untill about a mounth ago i updted my R4's cheat system. And i watched some Pokemon Hack videos like the three tree guy in sotopolis. (THERE IS SOMTHING BEHIN THAT DOOR)
And i SWEAR there was a house with three trees in in Dimond/Pearl but i can't remember!

I believe you are referring to the Old Chateau, which does indeed have three trees in front of it. You know, the one with Rotom in it?

And honestly, I've never cheated despite how interesting it could be. There are two reasons.

A) While cheating can yield some amusing outcomes, it nonetheless takes away from the actual challenge (which is why when I make my games cheats that say they'll help will do the opposite, while cheats that make it harder make it easier)

B) If I lose when cheating, or if I see someone lose while cheating, my first thought is: "Wow. I/he/she really suck if I/he/she lost while cheating."

No i mean three tress blocking a door in a house. Like go to sootopolis in emerald and there is a house with three unmovable trees.

Spoiler: Apprently this is what is stuck behind there and apprently by hackers it's proven to be there and it's the best i can describe it.
Any person who finds a way to remove the trees and get behind there will go down into a blank normal room with a blue Carpet. There is one guy in a blue top and a purple turban (I can't emeber there in-gamenames . Talking to the guy will only bring up question marks then the game will reset it's self

Thats all i have gathered so far on the trees. Most people reackon Gamefreak put it behind there as an Easteregg although since many people needd to hack to get into it is ot 100%. But that is what i have seen so far.

Still doesn't give any reason as to cheat. Curiosity killed the cat.

Now, assuming you only cheated to see what's behind that tree-door, then I would be forgiving. But, you decided to use a method to exploit the system. I see no reason behind that.

I hate pokemon that flee. Like Cresselia in Diamond. I put it to sleep, and it ran around asleep for about 6 months until I finally bothered to catch it.

Blame Pokemon's bad system.

See, this is why I taught my Gengar Mean Look. His sole purpose is catching the Legendaries. Now that I don't have any more legendaries to catch beyond other games, as well as Regigigas, Darkrai, and Arceus. Not like I could get these other guys though.

Oh! And Manphy and the Egg offspring.

Oh come now, cheating? Honestly? I never picked any of you to be that kind of a player.

I really can't stand people who outright hack the game from the beginning. I can understand doing it to get that last Pokemon you need for the Pokedex, or getting an event item you missed, but hacking for things like an IV/EV-maxed level 100 shiny Mewtwo with illegal moves is just ruining the game, at least to me.

Honestly, Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who completed the Pokedex the intended way - 492 Pokemon, caught, evolved and traded. Just gotta finish Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia to get Manaphy and I'll be done. :hobohodo:

I don't care. Once i fnished it and wanted to get the upgrade for my polygon i just National pokedex cheated. (I don't have any of the other games so nyeh

Hacking from the begining is wrong. An Hacking for stupily annoying poke like a Shiny mewtwo or a shiny surfing Pikachu.

Hacking is only allowed in my book when you finished the game and is bored with a 109 win streak at the Battle tower.

Ah, pokemon. A game I've also enjoyed playing since the first generation. Other than the crappy spin-off games, I've collected all the pokemon series up to date!! The one I'm currently waitring for is Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver. Then again, I think [i]everyone[/] is waiting for it huh :pearly:.

About the hacking stuff, I 'use' to do it when I was little. Stuff like the 'rare candy' cheat to level my pokés to level 100 (because I was too lazy to do it the proper way). Infinite TMs (because we all know not having enough T-Bolt's or Ice-Beam's is a good thing ;x), and cheating to get Event Pokemons like Mew or Celebi (because some people just can't be bothered to go to a Nintendo event or just don't have one near them). I don't use one now, seeing as it just destroys the whole 'point' of the game. But if I wanna have fun like walk into walls or experiment? Yeah - I'd use one :)

I'm also not daft when it comes to "catching them all". I mean seriously; you get all 151 pokemons in 1st gen, next they make 251 in 2nd gen? I mean seriously - wtfh are people doing these days?! Then again - I'm sure there's a lot of 'poké' nerds out there who'll do "anything" to get them all :)

As for batteling competivly? Nah - I just like to give my pokemons moves (to cover their weakness) and just battle for fun. I still don't get it when fowk just battle seriously. I mean - do they really care about a perfect win record or something? :)

My favourite kind of pokemons? Well - I suppose I like pokemons that are 'attractive' and 'cute', but I'm also a sucker for pokemons like Lopunny & Gardevoir (inb4afurryjoke ;x). I'm also a fan of dragon type pokemons (ie: Rayquaza or Dragonite). And no, I don't nickname my pokemons :(

I believe that they put in new Pokemans is because the plot is basically the same thing, so they need to do something to get old fans to come back.

I don't care much about completing the National Dex as well, but I'm obsessed with shiny collecting. =)

And I like new evolutions, many of them are cooler then their old second forms.

Don't forget Rhyperior.

And for your answer: They needed new Pokemon, and they couldn't come up with new ones, so they decided to just add on a new form to an old one. That's how I view it.

I dunno. Some of the new evolutions made what were previously mediocre pokemon to have on a team to be rather useful (Togetic->Togekiss, Glalie->Frosslass).

Now what I do find useless are the pre-evolutions. It was one thing in GSC when they were pokemon that you could only get in the pokedex by breeding, but with the new ones like azurill, mime. jr, bonsly, chingling, etc. that are just poorer versions of already good pokemon, with little to no reason for thier existance that irritates me.

Indeed, some are stupid. Yet some can be awesome. Don't ask me which ones aside from the legendaries, but I know that there has to be some.

Also, good job catching the shinies. I never once caught one beyond the always-red Gayrados in Silver.

I found a shiny bidoof once, and thought "Hey, at least I can use it for HMs". I lowered it's health, and then I went to catch it.

I had no pokéballs.

All shinys has 1/8192 rate, you're just lucky with them. =)

I never met a random shiny. I have 5 of them now and all I caught with the PokeRadar. I was lucky with only the first one, which was 8th in the chain and already shiny. =)

No, I just spontaneously took it after my favorite band's vocalist a long ago, and now it's just my regular nickname that I used to.

Well, you encounter them more, so seeing more would mean that you'd be more likely to get a shiny Zubat than, say, a Ralts...
