The third and fourth are unoriginal, and are kind of over the top. I mean, there are pokémon based on household appliances now. |

Rotom wasn't originally like that. Plus, what's wrong with houshold appliences. Personally if I had I living attack lawnmower, I would be pretty happy. I fail to see how that's unoriginal anyway. |

It means that the designers are getting pretty lazy and thinking that they can make pokémon based on any old thing, and that everyone will be happy with them. Besides, Pokémon, IMHO, was better when there were just 151 of 'em. |

Well, you're not giving me any examples. I'm going to stop debating because you're not putting up a good argument on your side. |

The third generation is awesome because of Mudkip and Gardevoir. The fourth generation is also awesome because of Gliscor. |

A quick warning to all - a meme joke (Mudkipz and the like) is fine every once in a while. Just don't let it overrun the thread, I'd rather not have to lock it just because people went overboard with memes, much like the last attempt at a Pokemon topic. |

I'm not sure why you've given Lucario Psychic when Gardevoir already has it; and Gardevoir gets STAB. |

Flash Cannon for Lucario would be MUCH better instead of Psychic |
|

| Post subject: | Re: Pokemon (general) |
Flash Cannon may get STAB and have the same effect of Sp. Def lowering as Psychic, but Steel is only strong against Rock and Ice (and most Ice types are dual Water, which reduces it back to normal). With Water Pulse instead, you give up that STAB to cover the two types Lucario is weak against. Either option is better than Psychic, which you already cover. |

I'd just go with Vacuum Wave for priority kills against pokes like Heatran. |

Coppo: Well the idea behind teaching my Lucario psychic was that instead of switching out to Gardevoir, I could hit fighting types with psychic. Lucario is weak against fighting... The point behind most of my Pokemon is to cover their weaknesses. Karo: I don't think Luxray learns fire fang, if it does, it's only by breeding. ;__; |

Yaragorm wrote: Karo: I don't think Luxray learns fire fang, if it does, it's only by breeding. ;__; Correct - It's an egg move. A quick search on Serebii can do wonders. EDIT: Spoiler: I didn't know whether to save this in my AA folder, or my Pokémon folder... EDIT EDIT: Did I kill the Pokémon thread? In other news: I just realised that Swablu has a beak. I cannot believe I never noticed it before. |
