I was really pissed off that there was a delay at the Crackdown download....

I played the beta, it's ok. I rather play the real thing once it comes out...maybe because I haven't played with a good group or people.

I'm really liking it so far. The graphic's aren't the greatest, but I'm down with that since it's just a beta. I'm enjoying the equipment a lot, especially the bubble shield. It makes me feel so safe, right up until someone runs in behind me and assassinates me haha.
The levels are pretty good, though I don't like snowbound too much. In fact, I tend to veto it whenever it comes up.
The new rank system is cool, and I like having a rank instead of a number.
The new weapons are pretty awesome, IMO.
The laser is ridiculously awesome if you know how to use it, and I'm always proud when I get a medal with it. The spiker just feels like another SMG, and I tend to avoid it. I LOVE detaching turrets, it's a cool feature. They do seem overpowered, though. The spike grenade is a nifty idea, and it's quite satisfying to embed it in someone's face.
The mongoose is really cool, and I have a lot of fun running around in it. Like I guess we all expected, it's great for quick getaways.

The beta is free, but you have to buy Crackdown in order to get it. Crackdown is a fun game so it wont be a waste of money.
