Feelings about the buffs and nerfs to each character
Online matches in the future? For 360 and PS3
Ya know stuff like that.
In MVC3 I ran with team Shuma/Wesker/Dormammu. My Shuma (as my friend put it) is pretty scary. Wesker... I just do faceroll bread and butters which is pretty cheap. I love mix up characters him and Dormy. My Dormammu is a pretty strong zoner but occasionally I'll pull a teleport rushdown game and surprise the opponent.

I'd be much happier with a standard Player VS CPU mode. It's no fun being forced to be competitive. Plus you lied Blak when I last went online it wasn't really varied at all XD Everyone and their mother had iron men, Ryu's and ESPECIALLY Dante's.

But Pierre, Player vs CPU is soooo boring though.

:P Sorry but Player Vs CPU doesn't require an internet connection, will always play at highest speed (I have faith in my connection but I've still occasionally had lagtastic matches), can be played quickly in short bursts and you have the advantage so you can mess around without having to worry about bringing your A-game to every match.

Sentinel force: Due to Sentinel's enormous hitbox, he can be easily hit out of it when he's used as an assist. Best punishment is to use a full screen hyper combo to kill the robot. If he's used in tandem with teleports and other cross up characters like Wolvie, always block according to the point character that way you want eat both sentinel force and find yourself free to a touch of death combo.
Also, projectile spamming is a legitimate strategy and it's called zoning and the reason they chip you to death is that they want you to make a mistake rushing in to kill them.
Good way to kill projectile spammers in UMVC, Dr.Strange has a projectile counter hyper. Good stuff right there. Hope I kinda helped.

I'm thinking I'd use Iron Fist's mighty flying kick assist since it looks awesomely useful
looks awesomely useful? Because it's got invincibility frames it IS awesomely useful! But the thing about Iron Fist is that his mobility is next to Phoenix's, cept his wave dash is faster. You'll have to have another assist to help both IF and Phoenix. Maybe Akuma's tatsu, that's a good lockdown assist.

Meh Akuma's ok I'm more likely to pick a character I like. I like the look of Iron Fist so I think I'll try him out for a bit, liking the looks of his hard hitting ground combos.
Besides I don't think Phoenix is going to need mobility much if he can set up Mayashield enough to get evidence he's got range and if he wants the finger of doom which covers the screen so getting near a foe isn't such a big deal.

Getting near zoners might be a bit of challenge to get into turnabout mode in the first place. I actually might swap out Dormammu for Dr.Strange for his Eye of Agomotto or Bolts assist.

It's not a shame that he got increased frames in Disruptor, I hated getting zoned out by that stupidly fast projectile. At least now it's easier to get in on him. I'm not a physics major so I don't know how to nitpick at his powers

It's not a shame that he got increased frames in Disruptor, I hated getting zoned out by that stupidly fast projectile. At least now it's easier to get in on him. I'm not a physics major so I don't know how to nitpick at his powers
True it was ridiculously fast before kinda balances him out a bit this time around.
Seeing Doom gets more or less naught but buffs is irritating though. Never really used him much though.

Nah, my online play against other people other than my friends left much to be desired. I knew combos in training mode but I was never able to execute them properly online. Guess that's something I need to work on in training mode, practice on moving targets in multiple scenarios and such. Also, I played a lot of Random character matches with friends so I found characters I was somewhat interested it and gave them a shot.
