I'm not going to waste my time/money getting a 360 and this game due to the fact over half my friends are getting this game. So I'll just whore it off them when they're done.

I can think of three reasons EASILY
1-You spend most of the game as the Arbiter, and we know how much fans hate having the cool main character swapped for another character (Lucia in DMC2, Raiden in MGS2, to an extent Apollo in GS4, etc.)
2-The game's tagline talked about how "Earth will never be the same" yet you spend all of 2-3 stages on or near earth, the rest take place on another Halo.
3-The ending was to much of a crap cliff hanger "I'm going to finish this fight" and black screen pissed alot of people off.
But Halo 3 looks to be amazing, it also has one of the greatest advertisement lines ever "A hero does not need to speak, for when he is gone, the world will speak for him"
