With the recent announcement of DD being digital only, I decided to join Club Nintendo because I'd heard that in the event that you lose your digital games (system breaks beyond transfer ability, etc.) it helps to get them back for you. I linked (or attempted to) my system to my account, and got a message on the 3DS that the link was successful, but I'm not seeing any of the digital games I downloaded in my products list, nor can I find anything to confirm that my 3DS is actually linked. Just to be sure, I linked my Wii as well and once again got the confirmation message but don't see anything to prove that on my club nintendo page. So a couple of questions:
1. How can you tell that your system is linked to the account? Do your previously downloaded games show up? Or do only games you download after the linking show up?
2. If this is some kind of issue, I don't care about coins, so I don't really feel its worth calling Nintendo up about it unless the system really does help recover data if there's an issue with my 3DS. Does having the game listed as downloaded on the club nintendo site actually help, or does it not have any affect at all on whether you can redownload the games again?
Thanks!
Note: The linking of the systems occurred about a week ago. If there is a time delay aspect to this is should have happened by now.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.
